Know what, I'll put it to a vote since both of the current plans have making a city on the list anyway.

Due to Forgot To Update The Action To Put This In syndrome, the direction of the new city founding is (again) unclear. Where you want it?

[] North (Adjacencies: north of Hexoatl)
[] South (Adjacencies: south of Itza)
[] East (Adjacencies: east of Xlanhuapec)
[] West (Adjacencies: west of Yenehectua)
[] Northwest (Adjacencies: northwest of Tlaxtlan, north of Yenehectua, west of Hexoatl)
[] Southwest (Adjacencies: southwest of Tlaxtlan, south of Yenehectua, west of Itza)

I hereby promise that I'll try to put together an actual visual map in time for next turn so this doesn't need to happen again. My bad.

[X] Southwest (Adjacencies: southwest of Tlaxtlan, south of Yenehectua, west of Itza)

Three adjacencies is good for reinforcement, and it's away from the Orks.

[X] East (Adjacencies: east of Xlanhuapec)
Come at us, Greenskins. Assert our dominance by building cities in front of them. Chase them with mobile builder squads. They will fear the chisel, the blown glass, the forged hammer. Let them cower before Awanabil'tat.

Also make sure the layout spells "Get Fucked Orks" from a bird's eye view.

I like that
[X] East (Adjacencies: east of Xlanhuapec)

sorry guys about my previous votes...

Well when in doubt, taking refuge in audacity always works pretty well.

@Xantalos questions
  • By "ancient aliens" theme you mean something like amulets that produce force fields and swords that have the same effect as power weapons?
  • I plan to do an omake involving the cult of sotek improving and expanding now that they have Slann seal of approval. I want to do a ritual scene that involves my Shaxesh oc. How should I go about that without breaking canon in the quest?
  • Is mochatia only populated by organic creatures?

Stuff like that sure, but I mean primarily aesthetic, not specific effects - History Channel Ancient Aliens (TM) is kind of about stuff that seems primitive, when at rest, like a regular statue or whatnot, but when activated displays a bunch of cool supernatural capabilities, starts glowing in spots, whatever. Or something that has no clear purpose to the outside eye, but when 'activated' becomes clear it's a ... blaster or a generator or whatever. The advanced hiding behind a primitive facade, in other words.

Only surefire thing is make sure to set it during a turn when the Cult was actually expanding. Other than that ... PM me your ideas and we can hash it out.

Central continent's the only region that question really applies to, so I'll address it from that angle. It could feasibly have some silicate creatures or somesuch on it or down in the ocean depths or something. Mostly organics though.

We all know that the real 'ancient aliens' are the secret cybernetic zombie hitler brains in robot bodies who built the pyramids. And I am not talking about the aliens that built the Great Pyramids, I am talking about the ones at the poles.
