Oh, right, he's at it again isn't he. I'm glad our younger friends have a way to defend themselves... I just hope he's being more circumspect about who he gives the app out to than he usually is.

    persona and SMT are very compatible with each other. which makes sense wince they are from the same creators. the reverse side of the world where Demons and Shadows exists is basically the feywild, a reflection of the material world. personas are then special Shadows/Demons that are specifically the reflections of individual humans in the material world, as opposed to ordinary Shadows/Demons which are independent beings. this then goes to follow that persona users are a lower level response of the counterforce against a threat, maybe a step or two away from the killbots that EMIYA and magus are familiar with.
     
    They're literally the same world in the Amala universe/multiverse...thing, as the SMT 1&2 timeline -- just the Persona timeline got split off because of a time-traveling Raidou Kuzunoha the... something-th preventing the nukes from getting launched.

    IIRC, anyway. SMT: If... my memory serves.

    And the first two Shin Megami Tensei: Persona games involved fighting demons. Shadows weren't a thing till SMT: Persona 3, and they didn't drop the SMT from the title until Persona 4.

    Even then, the Shadows didn't look like SMT demons until P5... where they also threw in Demon Negotiations as well... Huh. Is persona moving away from SMT or moving closer?

    Technically, Shadows showed up the first time before that in Persona 2, and in a much better way imo.
