We're getting off topic talking about fences anyhow, the whole thing with the fence at that point then implies that the boundary is somehow owned by one side or another. Because legally owning the boundary between Worlds is somehow a thing now.

I can't believe I have to say this, but fences do not magically neutralize the property lines! The inside of the fence belongs to one side or the other. Properties do not sit six feet apart because they don't care if you think they are gay.

It's too short to you cause most of your vote is about gathering our allies ourselves in front of Kohaku with the only caveat being doing it in a way she doesn't see even though we're supposed to be going together.
It also has us do this while yapping her ear off, as if when having a conversation she wouldn't be looking at us.
My plan just has us leave it to Shoji have leaving him the information to contact them himself.
Your analogy relies on legal registration. When a fence comes down, all that's around is the fucking yard rather than a yard split in two.

Because we were going to have Shoji do it further away from Kohaku, therefore giving her no clues to make her own conclusions to.
It's fairly obvious what we would be on own phone for. Talking to Grandma is still contacting is exactly the thing he won't let us do unless he's dumb.
The whole reason I left it ambiguous was so Shoji could have his own moment with his own plan.
About us being inactive in a bad way, your plan is a gigantic beacon about our plan from start to finish. Hiding doesn't matter when it's the logical course of action if we're on our phone the entire time we're talking to her because you somehow believe that Kohaku is a moron and doesn't know what we're up to which, news flash, tells Father Hino everything.
Being inactive in a bad way is what Father Hino wants, and thus was the point. When we don't do that, the plan falls apart. Our reinforcements will likely now face traps and now our best option is to brute force everything to the point where no amount of planning would have mattered at all.

Honestly, I chose the other plan because it left things up to everyone else to do because we can rely on them. The winning vote feels far too controlling and obsessively detailed in a way that I disliked.

It also has Yumi heading off everything while walking to whatever rendezvous point Father Hino has set.
She might as well be trying to do everything. She's trying to set up her team, she's trying to scout out the area, she's trying to keep Kohaku distracted, all while trying to keep Father Hino in the dark.
You may not realize it, but atm she's trying to do everything at the same time.
Edit: We also basically just told Shoji to fuck off, so there's that. That he can't help us, so do something that, while important, doesn't help out our situation at all.
