I'm sitting here at the park and there's some dumbass turning around and scratching his head. What, did a tourist get lost? I bet he dropped his wallet or something (I DIDN'T STEAL ANY THIS TIME). What a tool.

Wait, is he looking at me?

FINALLY.

I have been looking for this phone for the entire day. Okay, we are back in business! Let's get going!

...Actually, I wonder what's been going on with the thread. It couldn't hurt to double check everything to make sure--

Welcome back, we've been talking and trying to revive some peoples wives, or give relationship advice in one case!

  • [X] Rage. No one should ever be treated like that!
-[X] Disgust. To abandon your own children...
[X] Start making your way back out with Mami. "I take it you were in the area because of the guy Sayaka mentioned?"
-[X] "Oh, and if you need help getting to the Pixie village I can take you. Either on foot or by teleporting, it's up to you."
-[X] Otherwise just chat with your neighbor, see what she's been up to, how Sayaka has been progressing, things like that.
    [X] Plan Herofox
-[X] Alarmed. With Titania/Oberon's clan and King Frost's clan both arriving in the human world, it won't be long before the other clans follow suit. If those other clans believe they can get away with enslaving others here, you'll find a way to keep them in line.
--[X] Furious. You won't mourn Lilith, and her abandonment of her own daughters infuriates you. Though maybe you can free the Lilim one day.
-[X] "So, that was a thing huh? Looks like we gotta hunt that guy down later. Hey Mami, want to take the Terminal with us?"
[X] Outraged. While you won't mourn Lilith or feel guilt over killing her, her crimes were hers, not her daughters's. They didn't deserve this, at least as far as you know

1125: Back To The Village! New
[X] Rage And Disgust.

A volatile combination of rage and disgust begin to churn deep in your mind. To abandon your own children like that, and leave them to...

...Shit. You weren't gonna cry over Lilith anyways, but now you feel even more vindicated.

PRESENT...

[X] April Fools Day

Taking a calming breath, you begin to lead everyone back outside. "So, I take it you're only in the area because of that guy Sayaka mentioned?"

"Well, I was actually hunting for Witches, but if I found him..." Mami winks at you, "...It would've been a nice bonus! But in all seriousness, I was only hunting for Grief Seeds when I found a giant pile of snow beginning to rise out of the ground. Before I knew it, I was standing in a frozen castle, standing before the king. And now, I'm on a mission to find a different king." She sighs, "What a night, huh?"

"If you need help with that, I know where they are!" You smile, stepping out of the Frost's territory, "It's a bit of a walk, so--?"

You stop mid sentence as your foot collides with something sturdy. Your Gauntlet beeps.

[[TERMINAL REGISTERED: CASTLE FROST]]

...Oh. Neat.

"...Or we could just teleport there?" You suggest.

"Instant travel is preferred." Mami says, "But thank you for the option of walking."

"Ugh, I hate the snow." Gouto grumbles, "Am I glad that we're done there."

"I... I almost froze...!" Shoji comments, still warming himself near Baphomet, "Next time we go on an adventure, I'm bringing a jacket."

"It was rather cold in there..." Mami agrees, dusting some loose snow off of her hat, "...But I just focused on staying calm, and the feeling went away."

"Yo, everybody close!" You call for everyone, and...

...Appear at the Fairy Village.

"This is it." You stretch, feeling something in your back pop, "I wonder if Oberon and Titania are still awake, though..."

"I am." Oberon says, floating closer to your group, "Well met... Yumi, correct? My apologies, I've so many names to remember now..."

"Don't worry about it," You sit down on the bench near the fountain, "I get that way sometimes, too."

"'Tis late in the evening, what brings you to the village?" Oberon asks.

"Oh, I found a castle made of ice, and the king there asked me to--?"

"King Frost is here?!" Oberon asks in disbelief, "I thought he would never give up the Frozen Peaks! Is he in good health?"

"Yeah, but he was wondering if you could help him--?"

"Hide Castle Frost from the human eye, yes?" Oberon finishes again, "Of course! But Titania knows more about that kind of magic than I do, so I will ask her to show him the spell. Now, I know she's around here somewhere..."

...You don't even get to tell him where Castle Frost is before he floats off.

You sigh, closing your eyes for a moment. "Okay, looks like we're waiting for Titania to come."

"What now?" Shoji takes a seat on the same bench while Gouto hops up on your lap.

Unearthing Light, Chapter 17. New
You share many traits with Father. Ranging from the physical, such as your hair or your chin, to the psychological, the behavioral, and most importantly the mystical. Some of these you deign even say your brother shares.

Right now, you're feeling what you are absolutely sure Father and Dante would feel in your situation.

Boredom.

Utter, absolute, unequivocal boredom.

You used to be annoyed by Jadeite's consistent and sustained Youma attacks, but now...

...Now you kinda miss them. The Sailor Guardians haven't been around either.

Not that you really care, but their energy lifted your spirits brought an air of entertainment, like a court jester.

...Oh, you've read this one before. You sigh, setting the book aside as you lean forward to get a bag of cheese flavored crackers out from the Birthday Bouquet...

...But stop before your hand touches the bag. You need new reading material before anything. You cannot allow your mind to dull. You have to keep learning about Father. You need more--

...You need some fresh air.

After stowing the books you're going to return in the same place you keep the Yamato when you aren't using it, you begin to walk down to the library. It's a nice day, one that Mother would would call "a perfect day to play outside". You trust her judgement.

You were always more academically inclined than your little brother, so only rarely did Mother have to tell him to go outside. Heck, he didn't even like reading until Mother brought home that comic book about that caped man who could lift a car above his head...?

Is that...?

Indeed it is. The Sailor Guardians, along with that guy in the suit, are standing off as some woman holding a crystal points it menacingly at some other woman. She raises her hands--

"Awaken, Rikoukeidar!" The man shouts as some sort of gemstone is pulled out of the woman in front of him.

That gives you pause. Is that a Dark General? How the hell does he look that feminine from this angle? It's unnatural, unbelievable!

You snap back to the present. There'll be a time for taunting, just not now. The crystal, a color of the sea reflected in its shine, is in the middle of floating into this man's hand. Why does he even want some...

...Do you even care? If he wants it, you want it too.

You grin, already playing out this rather petty act in your head. You wait for the gemstone to travel, closer and closer to the man's hand, until--

You appear, snatching the gemstone just before it reaches his hand. The air is silent as you blink backwards, avoiding a surprised slash of a crystalline sword.

"Who dares steal from me?!" The general shouts out, not seeing where you backpedalled to.

The Sailor Guardians spot you almost instantly afterwards, as does their compatriot.

You're holding the gemstone up to the sun, mockingly inspecting it. "Very beautiful, refracts light stunningly... And look at that." You allow a grin to grace your lips, "Not even a scratch on it."

"Theif!!" The general points accusingly, "That Crystal was mine!!"

"Now, it's not." You put the gem in your coat, "Such is life." You bow, and just before whatever magic he was using is even out of his hand, you disappear.

Unearthing Light, Chapter 18. New
You hear feet clatter onto your front porch before you can begin eating the last muffin in your birthday bouquet. You sigh, setting the muffin back down and walking over to the front door. "Honestly..." You grumble as you open the door...

...But instead of of finding a Sailor Guardian or two, you find someone else.

The masked figure leaps backwards, putting distance between himself and you. One of his hands is behind his cape, while the other is put up defensively. "So you do live here." The suited man says.

"I was wondering when we would formally meet." You respond, hand gripping the Yamato, "To whom do I owe the pleasure?"

"Call me Tuxedo Mask." He speaks quickly, "You have something I need."

"A better name, perhaps?" You jab, "I could think of twenty."

"The Rainbow Crystal." Tuxedo Mask clarifies, showing no interest in playing games, "I need it."

"So did that general." You try to probe for any usable information, "And I'm guessing the Sailor Guardians want them as well."

"So you know its value?" Tuxedo Mask asks as he takes a step to the left.

"I know it's valuable, and coveted." You don't reveal your ignorance to whatever this crystal represents, "Why do you want it?"

"Because...!" Tuxedo Mask smiles slightly, "...You don't know just what you're holding, do you?"

"I know enough." You drum your fingers on the Yamato, "Enough to know this isn't the only one, and enough to know it is safe in my possession."

Tuxedo Mask huffs, "...Then I suppose letting you keep it safe while the rest are found is my only option." He lowers his guard, "You're certainly no general of the Dark Kingdom, so placing a bit of trust in you isn't a horrible idea."

"The Sailor Guardians seem to agree." You lax your grip on the Yamato a little, "So, I must ask again. Why do you want these gemstones?"

"If you must know..." Tuxedo Mask reluctantly explains, "...Gathering all seven will restore my memory."

"How many of them are in play?"

"Five. One is with the Sailor Guardians, one is with me..." As Tuxedo Mask trails off, his face hardens, "...And two are in the possession of the Dark Kingdom."

"So what use would they have in getting all of the crystals if it only meant you would regain your memories?" You ask, "They have another purpose, don't they?"

Tuxedo Mask nods, "When all seven Rainbow Crystals are brought together, the Silver Crystal will reveal itself."

"And what does that mean?"

"...I do not know." He looks reluctant to admit that, "But I must be going. Keep that crystal safe until we meet again." With his final piece said, he leaps off into the night.

...Surprisingly, he wasn't as pompous as you'd originally thought. But that makes him less predictable. You aren't sure if that's a good thing.
