"...That's not Sailor Moon." You state the obvious fact, looking at the deranged woman jumping away after "saving" that window washer from crashing into the ground. You saw the False Moon use magic to snap the rope to the platform, then swoop in and save the day. Really, you don't know who this woman is trying to fool.
...The real Sailor Moon, most likely, but surely even she must realize that it's all a farce?
You take a deep breath, almost ready to set out on a little hunt for this imposter, before you spot someone in the crowd. At first, you thought it was Sailor Moon, with the blonde hair and odd handbag, but then you spot the red ribbon in her hair. As you keep your eyes on this considerably better imposter, you spot a cat pop out of her bag.
It's almost like Moon's own, Luna if you recall correctly, except it is as white as fresh fallen snow. You can't get a good look from up here, so you can't be too sure about the actual resemblance to Luna.
So, the plot thickens...
...You feel like a buffoon for even thinking that. Egh.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"That's not Sailor Moon." You tell Tuxedo Mask as he joins you on the roof of the warehouse.
"Are you sure?" Tuxedo Mask eyes you suspiciously.
"Reasonably, yes."
"I think I'll check for myself." It's quite obvious he doesn't trust you, "I want an answer as to why the Sailor Guardians gave up their Rainbow Crystal."
"If I had to guess, it would be because someone was threatened--?"
Tuxedo Mask, having none of this conversation, leaps up to rescue the False Moon. You don't stop him.
You already warned him, after all. It's out of your hands now, so whatever happens, you can say you told him so. For now, you just put your feet up, and...
...Wait, is that a different Dark General? Floating just above--!
"Oh, you idiots...!" You grumble to yourself as all four of the Sailor Guardians are trapped in what is essentially a giant glass bowl made of dark magic. Well, here comes the gloating about how they're going to be bait for...
...It's shrinking. Slowly but surely, the area allotted to them by this unknown general is being shrunk.
What's going to happen if...?
You thumb underneath the Yamato. This is a trap.
You ready yourself for a strike. They want the gem.
"...Scum..." You growl as you--
"There you are, thief!" Zoisite shouts out as he--
His magic strikes you square in the back, sending you tumbling off of the roof and onto the concrete below. You land on your feet, cursing silently as you feel your back sizzling from the dark lightning in his attack.
"You know what I want." Zoisite grins as he holds his hand out, "The Rainbow Crystal for their lives. A sound deal, no?"
"You have your own." You instantly shoot back like you did with your brother before the attack, "Why do you want mine as well?" Might as well buy some time.
"They're useless alone." He answers, much to your surprise (the fact that he answered, not that they need to be together), "When they are gathered, the Silver Crystal will reveal itself, and the Dark Kingdom shall know infinite power!"
"Infinite, you say?" Gears begin turning in your mind, "Now that's news to me."
"So you didn't even know why I wanted them so?" Zoisite's grimace turns even darker, "Your plebian brain just saw a shiny rock?!"
"I'm not the one pronouncing plebian wrong."
"You--!!" Zoisite stops, glancing over at the bubble, "...You're running out of time to decide. What do you covet more, that Rainbow Crystal, or your precious friends?"
You hazard a glance on the off chance he's being genuine.
Sailor Jupiter falls over. That's when it hits you.
There's no airflow. They will suffocate in there.
Zoisite approaches and says something unimportant.
You reply by striking him with the back of your fist. Something cracks in response, most likely a tooth.
You blink over the unknown general and bring down the Yamato.
There's a flash of light from an unseen source which strikes your target, causing him to teleport away.
Thankfully, the bubble also dissipates, freeing the Sailor Guardians.
You both thank and curse the unseen gunman. You would have cleaved him in two, but at least this way you're not covered in blood.
You look over to whoever fired the shot, hoping to find a competent marksman...
...But you see another Sailor Guardian.
