"I could not have put it into better words!" Angel responds, "The Lord shall surely watch over our battle!" He seems to enjoy your statement!
Homura is silent, only offering a nod to Mami. Mami smiles in return, picks up Nagisa, and takes off.
"Okay, can we go find this "Witch" now? I'm kinda bored!" Pixie states.
"Follow me." Homura says, turning forward. The group begins to advance.
After a brief moment of silent walking, the Angel breaks the silence.
"I believe it would be in our best interests that I form a contract with you. Yumi, was it?"
"Huh?" You blink in surprise.
"Of course, this means I must ask for this and that. I will be fair, however. You saved the child named Nagisa, after all."
[NEGOTIATIONS]
"I would like to compare my magical talent to yours, if at all possible."

"I am aware of certain happenings within your world. Famines, wars, and the like. What do you think about these?"

I feel like there is a little more we can put into the second one, but I'm not sure what. Sometimes demons don't like the assumed obvious answer like this one.

Yeah that's what I hate from demon negotiations, sometimes the answer is not as clear, and I'm afraid of a write in this case because it might backfire.
@TremendousMilk3 do we have two get the 3 of them right or just 2 of 3? The int stat check is a 2 rolls between Angel and us right? We need to beat him in it? Or do we have to pass a certain threshold?
For a successful negotiation, aim to get at least 2 objectives out of 3.

We don't have any spells yet, so we're just having that mana go unused otherwise.

Your thinking vitality, which would be the ones that would damage us. Without spells of our own, we have no reason not too give up mana. Our party members use their own MP pools.

Not so much really, it just some MP for casting spells, and we don't have any at the moment, so it's not a big loss yet. Later when we acquire more skills and spells we need to be a little cautious when giving mp because sometimes demons take a lot. But for now there is no risk.

Well on SMT nocturne there is the skill makatora that allows to transfer mp to an ally, not sure if it will appear on the quest though. Qm said that they are basing mostly from SMT IV and V.

If there is a purifying skill, its probably a racial ability. I do remember that demons could perform the functions of the myth they are based off of as well, so if we get Epidotes who is apparently the greek god of purification, they could purify a Soul Gem.
The closest in game status effect to the corruption would be Curse from Nocturne, and to remove that you need to go to a Fountain of Life iirc.
Tldr. If you want to pick up a demon that can purify Soul Gems, do some research on mythological beings that you think could do it. That will be where you find your answer.

The Angel looks impressed! "My goodness! Even as unrefined as it is, your magical skill rivals even mine!"

"The answer I expected of you. Be careful, however, that you do not strain yourself. You cannot help others if you are not well."
"Right, of course!"

"Then I will be quick." As the Angel says this, he holds out his hand towards you. A pale, blue light seems to coalesce in the palm of his hand, and you feel... A little tired.
(ANGEL TOOK 6 MP.)
"Very well!" The Angel says, standing straight. "I have deemed you worthy to command me. I am Angel. Let us spread the Lord's grace upon this world!"
[Angel became your Demon.]
As your Gauntlet makes a noise, Homura went stiff. She turns quickly to look at you.
You look at her. Angel looks upon her. Pixie waves nervously. Eventually, Homura speaks. "What was that, Yumi?"
"I made a contract with Angel." You reply with a small smile.
"What kind of contract do you make?" Her eyes dart up and down, as if looking for something.
"Yumi is now my master, nothing more." Angel interjects, "She seems the competent sort."
Homura is silent again, looking at Angel now. "Right, "competent". Anyways-"
"Let's go fight the big Demon at the end!" Pixie exclaims, "There's always a big, strong Demon at the end! Let's get him!"
Homura sighs, pinching the bridge of her nose.
"Tally ho!" Angel points his staff forward, leading the way. Pixie follows him, followed by you, and finally Homura.
"It's just up ahead." Homura says, obviously tired of demons already.
Eventually, you find yourself in front of an ornate looking door. There are sounds from the other side...
(D20 ROLL: 3, FAIL.)
...Although, that's all you can say about it. You don't hear any human voices.
"This is the Witch, Yumi." Homura tells you. "This will be dangerous. If you want to stay back..." She tries to find the words, only to be interrupted by Angel.
"What are your orders, Master Yumi?"

[X] Alright, Homura has the most experince with this particular enemy type, so for this fight we would be best suited supporting her and drawing agro from them Witch. If there are minions, me and Pixie can focus on them till they're not a problem. Heal yourself and allies as necessary. I trust you the both of you to know when you can go in for the attack and not do so recklessly. Other than that, can't really come up with a real plan for something we've never fought now can we? Any other orders will need to be mid fight to adapt to the situation anyways.
