23: A Neighborly Sleepover

Being alone, you decide, is a bad idea. You should go get Mami. You exit your apartment, and head to Mami's.
You knock, and almost instantly, she opens the door, a smile plastered on her face. "Hello, Yumi! Are you ready?"
"Yeah, are you?" You reply.
"I was packing while you visited with Homura!" She answers. "It's been some time since I last had a sleepover!"
"Well then, let's get to it!" You and Mami then march straight to your apartment. You bother enter.
"I'll be able to help you unpack, now," Mami smiles as she speaks.
After some time, you and Mami have everything unpacked. You have your old Super Famicom set up, your air mattress is ready, some pictures were hung, and other miscellaneous things were put in their proper place.
And with the final box of clothes unpacked, you are officially home!
"Finished!" You call.
"Perfect! Now, what to do...?" Mami asks.

[] Play Super Mario World!

Honestly, with that one time Luigi managed to bend Negative Space Time to his will in Smash Bros, Luigi is a beast yet to be unleashed.

In all seriousness though, has Homura met us before? Homura rolled with meeting us pretty well but she seemed confused about everything else, and was apparently super open with revealing things to us.
Unless this is one of the early looping Homuras, I'm surprised she has trusted us as much as she had.

I feel like she hasn't but because she knows nothing and we started off good by saving madoka (both from the witch and the monochrome mages) she gave us information that would be plausible for her to know by normal means

I feel like it would just be salt in a wound if we fail while really close to the Golden Ending.
Homura is going to be upset, being possibly the closest she has ever been to her golden ending, but believes she can bring us back by resetting time again. She believes she only needs to tweak a few of her actions in order to win this ti-
We aren't there. We never existed. We never will exist.
In every timeline after that one where Homura was so close to the golden ending that she could taste it, she would never get another chance the same way.

Right now for the homu we are a possible path to saving madoka that she hasn't been able to go through before so she will probably try to sidestep her major mistakes she had with other puella magi and has been suceeding due to having a good first encounter and helping us with knowledge
At least that was my current line of thought

If you think about it we are probably in a really close spot to Sabrina from PMAS but without the instinctual knowledge

Its definitely helps that we are the one that brought up the Witches=Meguca instead of the other way around. Us starting our relationship with knowledge of the worst parts already on them table, and never having been influenced by Kyubey, means she can somewhat relax with us around. That our interference let her get a good impression on the main gang is certainly a plus as well.

Hmmm things are currently in favor of super mario world. I suppose that's perhaps for the best, don't wanna confuse her too much, but I do think the classic Odin (with a few smidges of Loki) move would have been funny.
