Wow, at least I'm pretty sure the Chief either can't see our demons, because even if the government knows about this stuff, he never reacted to them. If he knew about that and seemed non plussed, that would be one thing, but he never looked directly at them or reacted in any way.

Maybe we should just say that we found her unconscious (and undressed) while we were on our way back to the station, put the jacket on her so that she was something resembling decent, checked her pulse, and then she we woke up and we had to calm her down before we could call about this. Sounds more believable to me than her magically appearing in a flash of light after we touched a couple of seemingly random objects together, with said objects also disappearing before he showed up.

He was almost definitely coming to this specific location to investigate the flash of light. He probably knew we were in the area if the clothes were any clue*, but he had to have homed in on the light.

*Probably tipped off by another on duty officer we just never noticed.

In that case, I'd recommend saying that we saw the flash of light and went to see what it was, then go with the explanation I came up with, since that at least doesn't make us sound like a crazy person.

Technically still 100% true, but doesn't say whether we were looking in her direction, or at that specific spot.

As for the gem and bead thing, it was to give him an idea of what specifically we were doing at the exact moment the light started. And perfectly reasonable to mention without the actual context, because I could see myself doing the exact same action as described. What can I say? I get bored. Hence why I wrote it like that. And yes its info the cops would want.

Also its best not to give him information that could be contradicted. Because we have no clue what cameras saw us do it, or control over what Yuma might say.

Pixie leaves your shoulder, fluttering in front of the Chief. "Yoo-hoo, human guy!"

His stern gaze upon you breaks, looking directly at Pixie. "What the...? It's like TV static..."

"Oh, right!!" Pixie smacks herself on the forehead, "Normal humans can't see demons well! Wow, it's just like King Oberon said! Just a sec..." She reaches out to the Chief, and taps him on the nose.

His eyes suddenly go wide! "Gah! What the hell?!" He stares at Pixie, confusion painting his face. Then, he looks to you.

"Err... That's Pixie!" You say, trying to keep yourself composed, "So, uh, we're dealing with supernatural problems."

"I can see that, but what the hell's going on?"

"Pixie's on my side, as well as other mythological beings, but we're talking about Hiroko right now." You purse your lips, "Her situation is a bit more... Complicated."

He stares at Pixie as you talk. "Yeah, do me a favor and tell me just what I need to know. Where did Hiroko Sato come from?"

You take a deep breath, and explain. The Chief listens, nodding along and writing in his notepad as you talk. After a few minutes, you conclude.

"I swear, that's all I know."

He holds his head in one hand, groaning. "Good enough. I'll... Think of an official story. And this "Soul Gem" thing... Eh, forget it. One more question."

"Hm?" You look the Chief in the eyes, but he seems to be staring at...

"I never got your friend's name. The red haired girl."

Kyoko pauses for a moment. "...Kyoko." She says quickly.

"Kyoko...?" His face softens for a split second. "As in "Kyoko Sakura"?"

Kyoko looks on edge, "Yeah, what of it?" She growls slightly as she speaks.

The Chief looks to you. Then, back to Kyoko. "You survived." He says in amazement.

"Yes, I did. Is that all?" Kyoko seems to grow angrier...

"Survived?" Yuma parrots.

I think we our self don't know about kyouko back stories we in character only meet her by coincidence so the best response is

My answer was about Yumi just assuming Kyouko ran away from home, not knowing anything. I figured the latter half would push less of her buttons than asking about it.

If you think your vote is in character for Yumi though, you have my metaphorical support. I still prefer my vote, so you don't have my actual support though. Tis why we vote.
