I mean if this is 100% revival- like we're calling up souls from the afterlife to help out, then like...

I can feel the potential for Bitter to throw new missions at us, as a sort of "Beyond the Grave Request" from having these people show up. Adds more things to do, definitely might not be really wanted at the time, but interesting!

... I do also wonder if it might make using certain DNA samples difficult or impossible to use. We are tapping into those Psychic Routes in the Stage, so that might be something to consider.

Not bad mind you, having more reasons to be creative with power creation is always a plus!

CAT seems that it will win... "the clock's ticking, I just count the hours"...

The paranoid part of me is afraid that White Hawk is gonna pummel LL and HM after the Edicts are lifted so it honestly would sacrifice any shinies for a simple guarantee that our team will just make it out alive and not captured-
Yes, I hope that Gold has enough time and presence of mind to defeat White Hawk during her Dynamite Time. But, it would be so dramatic if he was the next phase of the battle...

We have hounded Bitterman with a lot of questions already, but I have one too if you're willing. What sports are popular in Horizon? Does it have any professional teams?

The paranoid part of me is afraid that White Hawk is gonna pummel LL and HM after the Edicts are lifted so it honestly would sacrifice any shinies for a simple guarantee that our team will just make it out alive and not captured-

(like in that one episode of the 2001 Cyborg 009 series where they defeat the 0010 brothers and lament that the two couldn't touch one another, and then the protagonist team stumbles their way back home, half-dead but leaning on one another for support)

-but that's just the paranoia speaking.
I have to imagine though that the Edict pain is much much worse than the throat concrete, because it's all over his body in all areas? And also he can't sense anything or move?

And the Edicts told him who was responsible, Kaitlyn English/Socialite Butterfly using a Justicar clone. I'm not saying White Hawk operates on Last In First Out proceedings, but if he's petty enough (and has enough intel on the Mysteries) he might bump her up temporarily just for inflicting more pain on him.

[X] Plan: Narrative plus Shutdown
-[X] Heavenly Astrologian
-[X] The Red Huntress
-[X] Shutdown

[X] Plan Justice in the nick of time
-[X] Justiciar
-[X] Copycat
-[X] Shutdown

I think we really want Shutdown here as one of the powers, just to make sure the situation doesn't get any worse.

Kyoko I think is the Speaker?
They explicitly say that she's the Speaker in the update…
And with that, the Speaker of The Hand of the Mysteries leaves.
... dumb idea

Does Exceed Beyond do anything to the armor? I don't know...

Make it a magical girl dress?
Nora's version made her grow giant pauldrons.

armor's plating becomes more extensive, sharper. Your visor becomes a flat eyeshield over your eyes. You get cool shoulder pads and the crest on your head expands.

Huh is Theodore The hand who sirvived here and Kyoko not het broken?

Edit: Oh is Oscar augur? It would make sense if precogs arent possible but time travel and dimension sliding is.

Guy jumps to other dimension whener things dont pan out looking for a gold route.

An arc villain from the quest Dragonball: After the end. Memorable for
a) body puppeting the protagonists friends similar to SB (though worse/better BC it was actually the original versions still alive) and
B) generating so much salt when she pulled off a victory that the thread was locked for a week.

She also had a very similar deal of succeeding despite her incompetence/insanity by using powerful abilities, which I think might be SV's kryptonite when it comes to villains.

Since we are still critizing Socialite Butterfly, I want to reiterate that I have no problem with her presumed level of power, but then I don't remember the last time I complained about an antagonist's abilities in a Quest, at least while it was still active; it feels to me like bitching at QM to get what you want.

My problem with Socialite Butterfly is that she feels two-dimensional, those dimensions being "overwhelming insecurities and self-esteem issues thanks to her upbringing" and "A facade of refinement, arrogance and cruelty to assuage the former" and like yeah, good to know she wasn't born a monster, but who is?

I don't know, I feel like she needs at least a third thing going on. Maybe if her relationships with the other Mysteries were more defined I could see her personality beyond those two things, but as it is I feel there's really nothing much about Socialite Butterfly beyond her trauma.

3. Valiant Gold + Doctor Silver + Menagerie Witch + Belle Sabreuse + Yara Oliveira +/Vs? Stockpile Vs Socialite Butterfly + Memoria + Scarlet Maturity [Base Form] + Heavenly Astrologian + Radiant Silvergirl + Justiciar

Also just realized after this we'll never escape the "Project Prometheus is about strengthening powers" allegations. Lady Leizi just showed a move that caused a literal thunderclap that parted Uiara's attack and revealed she could kill otherwise invulnerable enemies by giving them heart attacks? They will feel like we aren't even bothering to hide it anymore.

Well, even before that, Lady Leizi also showed she's immune to electric attacks, a feature that's barely been shown at all and may lead Crusade to thinking she's been boosted, when in reality she's just been complacent for years and barely experimented with her powers at all :V

Yeah, absolutely no one is going to buy that she has, in fact, been capable of this the entire time and just... never actually noticed. (and/or held back because some of this shit can't be made less lethal)

Lady Leizi not using her powers makes some sense from the pov of the rest of her team were frankly powerhouses who were on the whole far more durable than her, especially with her running the whole spy network.

But it does lead to some very funny growth moments, especially when looking from the outside in.

It was approximately a week after Yazmin had humiliated you in front of you in front of everyone. You had spent most of it brooding in your room, hurt and furious. You had been seriously considering leaving NuGun, until a distraught Rosemary had literally dragged you to dinner with everyone one evening.

Which incident was this, again? Have we seen it in text? I have a few vague guesses, but trying to figure out the timeline.
