Well with Yara having a shield we cant really have DS put more shield on her, so unless were willing to risk BS and MW by letting Chimera fight Seraph without a shield or have Handyman almost die again like with Faustian.

He almost died because he got blown up and then ripped in half by someone strong enough to use supertankers as a bludgeon. That is not the situation we're currently in, so I don't know why you're catastrophizing about Handyman being at mortal risk when White Hawk had trouble even punching him. Context matters, jesus christ. Especially when your plan seems to be to throw him and Leizi against the two lowest priority targets as I see it.

And Seraph is a psychic specializing in mental attacks, I'm not sure what the shield on the chimera does if we send it to duel her.

Yeah just a reminder of the stat lines we're up against. Which might not be fully accurate for the clones but probably isn't super off. At least as a benchmark of strength and relative scariness.

The Shield on Chimera is if WH or SK tries to help Seraph.

Also Im just trusting on the Shield Generator to Protect our Backline this scene while making sure our Frontline doesnt get Hurt enough that they cant fight once the clones enter the scene.

It why both Belle and Chatelet have the hustle.

How "inflexible" can a Wolong clone be? Sounds to me like that Wolong clone is there to compensate for the clone's inflexibility and come up with every possible plan.", meaning we have to find the Wolong clone quick, but that also begs the question of the range of SB and her clones; Wolong clone might not even be in the same area as the other ND clones. We could make an educated guess that SB's a p13 metahuman with. Just having clones that can copy metahuman powers is already pretty bonkers. Which makes me question how far that range could be. Definitely not within the same room considering the parents.

I'm aware there is a risk of overcomplicating something that might just have a simple answer, but I just feel like speculating stuff and bringing food for thought. For now, I think having Doctor Silver be on watch duty and knocking out Stockpile is something we have to focus on for now at least (also surviving)

Theres also how many charges the wulong clone even have left. Like I;m not discounting the Clone being able to force it itself to use its power even if it leads to death.

But we know Wulong giving 1 charge in a mission is already a big deal.

A lot of the issue is we don't know the limitations of SB's cloning power. We have a base level maximum of a day for producing a new clone, also we know that the clones can be given instructions but need, for want of a better term, programming to be able to act semi independently (see the spec ops clones stilted actions and how Harper's parents went blank for 5 minutes). That then extends to how likely we think SB is here personally directing things or if she gave them preprogrammed instructions. The third option that the clones have independent reasoning is counterpointed by the examples above, though it would be infinitely worse and I'd be curious why she hasn't taken over the world yet.

For my part I think she is personally directing things (with either a bunch of contingencies beyond the SEP field or some heavy firepower we've not seen protecting her, or somehow commanding them remotely). This is because preprogramming the actions and contingencies needed to engineer the crusade confrontation would be more effort then just managing things directly.

BTW if we want Wulong to helps in that Psychic Invulnerability synergy.

Would the question be Clairyovance+Invulnerabilty synergy?
Since we know Clairvoyance is vital part of any psychic combo like telekinesis.

Stockpile Nega-Quest, Eidolon Edition — Namer New
Honestly-

If we were playing Stockpile this fight would look even worse for us.

Imagine:
  • Valiant Gold: You (Stockpile) need to engage and keep her at bay, otherwise she will instantly delete anyone squishier than himself and White Hawk from the battlefield (she might not... or will she?)
  • Black Swan: Top 5 superhumans on the planet. You have only one shot at taking her out - Seraph.
  • Lady Leizi: Not the biggest threat, but you aren't confident Joules and Ete can take her. She's squishy, but-
  • Chatelet and Doctor Silver: The other team has two supports. Even if you have more flyers, battlefield control isn't looking great. It'll be hard to even land a solid hit on the other team with so many shields.
  • Handyman: A shapeshifter who's strong enough to hold off White Hawk. If he backs up Leizi, Joules and Ete are done for. If he backs up VG, you're going to have a really hard time.
  • Menagerie Witch: A minion-master hiding in the backlines. You've heard she can create hundreds of shadow minions that can fly. She could just grab Yara and fly her away at any time. You need to take care of the frontliners quickly before she swarms you all.
  • Belle Sabreuse: You don't know much, but she's strong enough to have been protecting Yara all this time. Brass Shield might be able to take her, but he's already injured.
(Y) Plan: Why can't they see I'm right?
- Activate Psychic Siphon. You need to survive three turns against VG plus maybe Handyman or LL. If Ete or Joules roll bad, you might get 1v3ed quickly.
- Seraph tries to get another hit on BS. If she goes down, you're toast.
- WH and SK distract BS as long as she's in the fight. They also need to protect Seraph from MW's creatures, Chatelet or anyone else who tries to target her.
- Brass Shield (is screwed). Hopefully he can last long enough for WH and SK to help him. In the meantime, he tries to distract MW or DS.

Like, yeah, it's bad for us because we know SB's waiting in the wings, but it's honestly worse for them based on the knowledge they have.

It's getting a thread mark. Don't even care. I love me some nega-quests! +1!
Something like [Stagehand] you might not be able to interface with other psychics, but they can't do anything to you. You're a non-target to them.
I feel bad for being a little chippy earlier, so I'll tell you this: it's the same power Shroud has. He only has one keyword.

Reads leading plan

Mmmm, so here's my preference:
- Black Swan play hit and run with White Hawk and Sunlight Knight, targeting the latter more, while avoiding Seraph. No objection there
- Menagerie Witch annoys everyone with her menagerie, make Hit Chimera to target Seraph. No problems here as well
- Doctor Silver on sentry and guarding Yara. Alerting people where clones are. No probs
- I'll admit, I highly prefer Belle to play guard duty as well since I feel like if clones decides to to gang up on Yara, Doctor Silver, an Menagerie Witch, their defense may just shrewd. That said, considering all three have shields iirc I guess I can be fine with her playing offense.
- Chatelet as additional defense is….fine, though I'd like it if she serves as ground watch more and helping out whoever she can, though prioritizing Yara is the right move
- I don't understand why we're not dog piling Silvio, and just leaving it to VG. I get that Ete and Joules might be a problem if we leave them alone. I get that VG might be the only ground unit who can keep up with his teleporting. Heck I'm fine with Brass Shield being prioritized considering what I think his powers can do, but ehhhhh, VJ's psychic mechanic screams that it needs to be taken care of now. I'm fine with leaving Ete to set up her soldiers or Joules sneaking in. I'm not fine with 1v1-ing Stockpile.

VG is having everyone out of Silvio range by moving him away to a different area. Like how the Fliers arent affected by his armor due to them being far away.

I can understand ganging up on Silvio but leaves us too open from Joules and Ete attacks if we ignore them. So at most we might need Handyman to stall the 2 since Leizi has only 5 hit. That said.

QM is the area with C4 far enough away to get everyone out of stockpiles range?

Silvio is the top priority here. I'm willing to commit even Black Swan to disabling his armor because 3 hit checks until his next pulse is not a lot of time, and the best way of protecting Black Swan and the team from Silvio's siphon is to break the siphon. Next is Seraph, and then the rest.

To protect Yara, the main consideration is that our enemies want to abduct her, not assassinate her. Therefore the symbiote is better insurance for someone else, though I'm fine with reserving a shield generator to prevent her being crippled or struck by shrapnel.

I also was interested in the earlier idea of morphing Handyman into Yara. It's not about being a believable decoy to anyone with half a brain, it's about drawing out those witless clones.

[X] Plan: In the Name of Love and Hate
-[X] Mona makes a show of fighting Seraph/Whitehawk/Sunlight Knight. Keep them and especially Seraph on their toes and aim to drift them further away from the house while fighting. But she should also be preparing to abruptly fly to Silvio on Valiant Gold's signal.
-[X] Menagerie Witch sends a flying HIT chimera along with a bunch of Nevermores, set to be sprung on Seraph and the other fliers for when Mona switches to Silvio. Her ground menagerie will support Belle against The Brass Shield.
-[X] Doc Silver puts a shield on Chatelet and Handyman and then puts Hustle on the chimera and 2 animals from the ground menagerie. Use clairvoyance to keep an eye on any additional contacts entering the house and on Silvio's location.
-[X] Belle gives the Shield Generator to Yara but keeps a Symbiote for herself.
-[X] Chatelet moves outside to support the front yard. Focus on corralling opponents and disorienting them, specifically Silvio when he teleports.
-[X] Ellie uses Paper and unleashes flaming bullet hell. Primary target is Silvio, but don't miss chances to blast other opponents or take advantage of Ete's flames. Together with the drones, don't give him a moment to think about where to teleport next. Coordinate with team to bait out Silvio into teleporting into a particular spot, one with a clear line of sight to the C4 traps. On the signal, Black Swan will beeline for Silvio, dive bomb him, and run. Ideally, blast him into the traps and then detonate them.
-[X] Handyman shapeshifts into an offbrand Yara, one with flame retardant clothing and a pilebunker and a crossbow for hands.
-[X] Leizi taunts enemies and works with Handyman to support Ellie and Chatelet.

Assumptions:
  • Silvio's psychic siphon works in pulses. If I read the mechanics right it should be safe for Black Swan to be in his range within the first 3 hit checks. If not, then this plan must be reworked.
  • Handyman's clay is somewhat like or can morph into something like real clay in terms of heat resistance.
Risks:
  • Silvio's power null. This is why I've put some ranged fighters on him to zone him as well. Note that Black Swan's attack should also be ranged and not a ram.
  • Black Swan + C4 fails to disable Silvio's armor. If this happens, the hope is that the aftermath of a big explosion will give enough cover for Black Swan to reposition and that he will be pushed out far enough outside the range of the others.
