[X] Plan: Gravity Rook
[X] Plan: Milady Levee

I've seen medieval armor in interpretations of rook costumes and that's also cool to me. The armaments seem redundant given her powers, but that's a minor quibble.

I'm bored during work so I'm going to build out stuff for Giant Slayer and Epoxy. Wild Speaker just seems like its a potential component in Nepthys, Nox, Chatroom, and Bulwark builds so far rather than a centerpiece, if a potentially good component at that.

Giant Slayer is an 8 potency power that has an innate synergy in Transmutation (in this case changing the size and mass of objects) and Enhanced Strength, so we have 5 points to work with. Most of the 4-5 point options don't seem to have any major synergy powerwise with this barring maybe Epoxy's innate use case of keeping someone stuck in place to be hit power wise. The power that interests me the most when looking at Giant Slayer is Multiplex's, considering the ability to transform themself into an object that does not outweigh your body's mass seems rather interesting when combined with the ability to mess with the size and mass of objects.

Still I think the options here are Multiplex/Sewer Rat/Daggermaw to build out Transformation/Enhanced Strength/Enhanced Senses and some Self Enhancement, or Adamant/Soldier X/Multiplex if trying to build up Autobiokinesis and Enhanced Strength. Maybe Soldier X could fit into the first build over Daggermaw if synergies get discovered, but the second enhanced senses tag and 3rd transformation tag is tempting there.

Its possible that some of the transformation tags might be irrelevant due to being a part of the Transmutation synergy potentially, the bases they're used with are mostly brought brought for their other tags barring Multiplex, which is brought for the powers potentially working together.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Epoxy is a 5 cost self contained FFM with the power to stick and unstick things together. This is genuinely really powerful since there didn't seem to be any indications that its a melee power only, meaning you can forcibly ground someone to a spot to take whatever you're going for. While FFM is obtainable at 3 cost fairly easily, the baseline power here is what would be wanted if using Epoxy. Where honestly, the bigger issue just seems to be that its a generic piece which can be deployed in most areas?

It'd probably work with long range and flight based options to just have a forcibly stationary target. I could see being mean with like Umibozu/Hydrocity builds by forcibly keeping someone stuck in place as you surround their head in water to take them out of the fight. Maybe use Deadman's magma or Crimson Soprano's flight and energy blasts for some other options?

I do think I know why Printemp's Transmutation is in. We know it's a Synergy, so the obvious course is that Scarlet Maturity's power added the combo tags necessary to turn whatever was 'under' it into Transmutatation, on top of boosting the Potency.

Idly, do you think SM has a Clairvoyance aspect to his powers, if only in terms of "I know when someone I'm bonded with dies from a cause not named me"?

managed to do a superhero submission to the QM. Gentlemen how do you feel about angry murder ghost powers that use a mark system like Red Huntress except with instead of basing it on the strength of a person it's based on a bunch of factors related to in city district like evil shit going on and level of superhumans in the area

Okay, I have a build.

Hunch (1) + Chatroom (4) + Wild Speaker (3) + Eastwood (2) + Millions Minefield (1):

This has each keyword (Clairvoyance, Ally Empowerment, Mental Manipulation, Energy Manipulation) appear twice, giving them a good chance of working and boosting efficacy. It's 11 potency, reduable to 8. I could drop Millions to make to accessible to a 7, or we could put two extra things to boost it to 13 if we're making this our counter-Lantern.

[X] Plan: Milady Levee

Changing up my vote for the last time! Let's get Opale a good costume!

So that thing is happening where two very similar plans are cannibalizing each others votes. I'm apt to treat Gravity Rook and Black Gravity Rook as the same plan because of that. Something to keep in mind if you're voting both for a Rook and Milady Leeve. Also, if Black Rook wins, I reserve the right to tweak the color scheme a bit because Black Swan already has a black/gold costume.

In other news, PREVAIL looks, you guessed it, long. Trying for Wednesday, but Thursday if not. The good news is I'll start Issue 3 before my break so you can make plans.

Hmm worst case scenario for us is if Prevail results in a Hot war. But considering QM said not meeting GJ was a long term problem its most likely a cold war against us, with us needing to figure out and prepare why their hostile to JU.

Letting them kill Opale would have started the hot war. In saving her and beating Faust and Scarlet Maturity, you showed that you also have a big stick. Now, you've forced them to be smart.

Seems fine to me.

This may be a problem because I'm not sure we're smart.

To be fair, Apiary's psychic protection blocking Lantern means they're also operating on imperfect information. And Anansi is clearly desperately and in vain trying to put out the PR/infosec problem Moon River is causing.

In the court of public opinion, we're winning.
