Grumbling

------
does Scourge have the boosts from last time we fought or no comment

Scourge's boosts reset after battle.
Otherwise he could just stock up before combat and be unbeatable.

I'm going to suggest attempting the following kill order:

Scourge -> Neverthere ->Fortress

Gist of the plan is to engage Scourge in melee asap and just flat out attempt to overwhelm him, as far as I can tell theres 3 possible results since we outspeed everyone as far as base flight speed goes. Scourge unveils his hidden ability and potentially nosells us somehow (I'm not counting on it) Neverthere swaps with him and eats a melee attack straight to the face accomplishing an objective out of order, or we kill or heavily injure Scourge.

Scourge is the only real threat here, and he is NOT ramped up yet. TBH my preferred strat for dealing with the other two is quite literally just hit them with halts and just delete them from existance with Omega. The time for subtlety is over.

If it doesn't work just fly low to the ground and get some distance to replan.

Ten metres.

Half of your radius, though it is on the other side of you, behind the Miniboss Squad.

[] Battle Plan
-[] let your Ignition Aura of the leash, they are all well inside your 20 meter range.

the scourge only has abilities to negate spells, not abilities.
it also forces neverthere outside of his 20meter range to affect our Gaia-rescue, unless he wants to get burned.
someone wants to plan contingencies in case the scourges ??? ability negates abilities?

[] XP Plan
-[] Magic Surge (850 XP)
-[] Infinity Edge 18 -> 20 (370 XP)
-[] Total: 1220 XP, 0 XP left.

magic surge gives us guaranteed variable offense and defense.
2 more levels to Infinity Edge give us 1 more APT, increasing the effectiveness of Magic Surge.

my ideas so far.

I would like to increase plate armor by one level and armored soul by 4 but we can do that after we kill these guys. I like your plan Light, I'm just concerned that the scourge can fuck with our MM some how, so I would prefer just swording him to death.

My big objection is that we know melee works on scourge already from the last fight and this gambles on him not being able to scam abilities just as bad as spells.

Unending Hunger
-Any magic that contacts you or your magic is negated, then the combined Damage and Magic Modifier is added to health. (Basic attack MM is excluded)

Changed from 'Spell' to 'Magic' for more clarity.

Let me tell you this is not accurate. Scourge devours all magic, not all Spells. Your auras are definitely magic.
alright, need to get rid of the Scourge before frying the others with the Aura.

good thing we got that cleared before engaging in battle.

scourge is not the only real threat to us. undying fortress has 75% of our enormous MM and spellboost. we'll have to block his spells with Omega or we get skewered.

Can we turn a small section of ground below us into lava and then burrow underground by 'swimming' through a tunnel made of lava?

Stealth tactics.

That actually takes too long and Cerys can not breathe in there.

Well...

[] Plan Cavalry
-[] Have Gaia port Una behind those guys, with order to shoot Fortress
-[] Blitz Scourge with all you have
-[] Finish Neverthere off

Have a basic idea of how I would go about it; do with that what you want. I kept the second half vague on purpose, especially Scourge's line because I will not vote for EXP in any way.

The Might of Magic
-Reroll Magic Modifier until it is 75% of maximum and if facing another being with magic, add 75% of their Magic Modifier to your own.
Ahahaha.

The Undying Fortress, ladies and gentlemen. What's our Magic Modifier again? Huge, right? Well, he will Juggernaut us (we'll have less than 25% MM) with practically triple of our defenses if he strikes. Have fun with that. Alpha and Omega are needed.

Also, I suspect at least some aspect of The Scourge of Magic does either something similar, or just nixes it when it comes to him.

Yeah Scourge was only super tanky last time because he lucked out and snagged a Juggernaut Wave.
I'd rather not attempt Ignition lest it turn out that yes he can eat that but the way I see it Fortress is mostly here to tank anything that Scourge can't, and vice-versa. So we down Scourge first since we're primarily a magic-slinger and he's going to prevent us from simply throwing powerful magic everywhere. IDK what would happen if Omega tried to eat him...It could end well for him, or he could go 'AHHH THIS ISN'T EDIBLE MAGIC!!!' and die very horribly.

[ ] Plan Una then Swording
-[ ]Have Gaia send Una behind the enemies with orders to shoot Fortress with Paradox
-[ ]Before Una ports in, cast Halt on Neverthere so that Scourge will use Consume on Halt and be unable to stop Una from killing Fortress.
-[ ]Charge Scourge and attempt to kill him in melee. Have both aura's off and use no spells. Be prepared for if/when Neverthere switches with Scourge.
-[ ]If Neverthere switches with Scourge, attack Neverthere with your sword.
-[ ]If Neverthere dies first, then charge and kill Scourge in melee. If Scourge dies first, cast Halt on Neverthere and have Una cast Paradox on him.
-[ ] Double and triple check that all of them are dead, don't want another repeat of Fortress.

So the idea is to prevent Scourge from stopping Una's alpha strike on Fortress by forcing Scourge to cast his spell first and then to deal with the other two. Melee is the only way to deal with Scourge, so getting into melee range of him is key. Neverthere switching with Scourge once we are there just provides us with a very squishy target right in front of us. Neverthere should be easy to deal with once his allies are dead, but it is always a good idea to be safe and prevent him from escaping with Halt. Thoughts?

Allies is a very loose term.
Technically Gaia can teleport anyone she wants.

Oh...

IIRC she originally said she could send in 'allies'...

Wait.

The Knight. The fucking combat knight dude we sparred with. (I forget if he gave his name but am at work and don't have time to check)

We need a nonmagical fighter to take out scourge, wouldn't he be a pretty fantastic help?
