Magical Girl Quest - The Fire That Burns

By the way, do we really need that last spell? I mean, I can see the point of it if we can move the cloud around, but maybe we could have done the same thing with a higher level in A&O?

A&O is directly attached to our soul, though. I doubt it will ever be able to move.
Besides, Sinarblood's original argument was for us to have a means of ranged damage aside from heat-based Spells.

-[] Make an attempt for another spell; have the magic cloud attack/destroy your own target

^This is basically A&O

...which basically says that we are not getting anything out of this.
Edit: I am changing the wording to "make another spell to attack".

You can try, but you are just trying to achieve the same effect in a different way.
All you are going to get is A&O.

I don't mean to sound stupid.
But we can throw our sword right?
We can also make more sword's right?
So why cant we just use our swords for our ranged attacks?

We could, but we could only throw it over... maybe ten metres? That could grow farther if we get Levitate, but Spells usually have higher reach.

Morgan's thinking is that Cerys won't be so reckless in the future now that her little sister knows.
Morgan doesn't want you to die either, so she played a little dirty.
We were already planning to do that.

So, in other words, she made a dumb assumption and because of this we're stuck with the aftermath we wanted to avoid...

Yeah... It's still pissing me off when I think about it.

Ninja'd D:

Yeah, it's fine to experiment for another.

Human Being =/= Logical Action
It's scary when someone you care about is torn in half.

Well renforce will keep getting stronger. Also I expect we will learn how to make our swords cut though anything including air.

I suggest fitting in some Ignition Aura training on the day we work on animal regneration. First we focus on its offensive capabilities as we practice it's offence, then switch to defensive by focusing on making Ignition protect instead of destroy. Maybe it'll help improve Ignition's damage reduction. We have kind of been placing Ignition Aura on the backburner, although it's definitely one of the better abilities we have.

Maybe work on keeping Reinforcement on at all times, even when we're not in a fight. It has the advantage of not being considered a spell, so we could probably train it by having it on all the time (unless we need to moderate our strength).

EDIT: Huh, a Rukia insightful. Either I was right about Reinforcement or Ignition can be improved defensively.

...I do not want to have our fire aura active when trying to heal something. Actually, this one would fit better into a later date. I am mostly trying to tie up loose ends we have at the moment.
I can add a note to have Reinforcement active during the sparring, though.

I'm not saying activate Ignition when healing. I'm saying work on Ignition Aura on the same day but far away from the animals.

Ignition Aura IS a loose end. We haven't actively practiced it in a loooooong time. Far longer than we should have. Also, if we're working on Damage Reduction, Ignition is a possibiltiy in enhancing that.

Also, I meant to have Reinforcement active at all times. Unless we're trying to moderate our strength. Reinforcement doesn't require any active usage and it doesn't harm anybody to have it on unless we're shaking their hand or something.

Fair enough on the former.
But keeping Reinforcement active at all times... would mean that if Cerys forgets about it even once, she destroys property or hurts people she is interacting with.

If you insist, though...
I can put it in; if anyone has objections, please state them now.

I don't think Cerys is that forgetful. Plus, Reinforcement makes her 40% stronger. Without her sword, her strength changes from the strength of an average teenage girl to the strength of a tough teenage girl. Not enough to destroy property.

Umm...
40% Stronger of a strong teenage girl is in the realms of high to peak human strength.
Like, train all of your life strength.

Not quite up to destroying things around her like she does when transformed, but more than enough to accidentally break something.

  • [X] Tuesday: Work on improving your armour; see if you can implement other materials (ask for samples if it works), try to strengthen it with magic or any other way that comes to mind
-[X] Ask Daiyu to let you examine her armour; maybe you can get an idea from hers... and apologise for not having any time for her today, you really want to get this done
-[X] Once you are done for the day, have a talk with Morgan about recent events
[X] Wednesday: Work on magic with Daiyu
-[X] Try to explain that she can make her magic make most things work if they fit her concept; if there is anything she thinks could be useful, she should try to get it
--[X] Provide her with targets made of ice
-[X] Make an attempt for another spell to attack on range without thermal-based damage
-[X] Later on, go ask Morgan how things are about that farm she mentioned, where you can try out healing
[X] Thursday: More Magic and Magic Control
-[X] If you were not yet to that farm to test Regeneration on others, go today and take Daiyu along to try as well
--[X] Use off-time, travel-time and time away from the animals to practice with Ignition Aura; it does protect you from damage... can you improve that protection?
-[X] Once you are back, go over to practicing Magic Control together
[X] Friday: Sparring and other practice
-[X] Spar with Daiyu some more, but keep Reinforcement active this time
-[X] Afterwards, go over to experimenting with your weapons; you found quite a few neat things you can do with Infinity Edge after all... so maybe there are some functions hidden in her own weapon and shield as well
--[X] Go about creating several swords at once and train doing so quickly (Training for Limitless)
--[X] You can make the blades float; do this again and improve your precision when moving them (Training for Levitate?)
--[X] Try channeling your auras through Infinity Edge... but stop immediately if it starts to hurt
    [X] EXP Plan Buff
    -[X] Knight's Aria (300 EXP)

Well if we want to be able to control our strength it would be better to start now rather than later.

Cerys is a strong teenage girl? I remember reading in the beginning that Cerys was chastising herself for not exercising when running away from Demon of Due.
