Magical Girl Escalation Taylor (Worm/Nanoha)

I like the idea of taking Vista with us instead of sam. Interesting is always interesting after all. :ogles:

On a related note, for social options, it might be fun to do Laura? While that would probably help the ship, im actually interested in touching base with her after the meeting. Well have proved that we are willing to put action to words, and the content of the villain meeting would likely make for some interesting followup. Touching base, coordinating, philosophizing, etc.

You could definitely ask her about getting a template. She was less enthusiastic because the vote at the time was to give Tim the template. She also doesn't want to fight and hurt people if she can help it.
So, Infinite Enhancement template, which is what we need.
I want to social her and the adepts that returned to the protectorate, as we need to start making a team of our own.
Tell them the pros and cons of having a device, and offer them some of the same information we gave Dragon so they can keep their parahuman powers.

@Silently Watches, I've been meaning to ask, is Dragon not as close to Colin as she is in canon? I'd have thought he would be the first person she tells rather than Narhwel.

If we do end up doing Tickets to Gangland, as seems likely, I really would like for Coil to be brought up and for us to lay the blame/present our evidence for the bombing being his action. This is an action I don't want to see fall by the wayside and this would be a relevant time to bring it up. It would also segue pretty well into the next arc.

I'm not in favor of Epoch being our plus one even if we do spend a social action on the Adepts. He's not really a part of our group (I don't think a social action here will change that) and he's not a local. It would be kinda silly to bring an outside villain to a meetup about how to handle all these darn outside villains. Converting him to heroism (or at least not being a criminal) is something that I think we can do, but it isn't something that we can accomplish immediately.

Could social'ing the Privateers be an action? It's not Long Live the King, but it might work as a stopgap or something. Or salvage more members for the splinter group?

@Silently Watches, where is Danny again?
You could social a couple of select members of the Privateers, but not a large chunk of the group.

Danny is at a nursing home, insistent that it is June 1 of 2005.

She is still attracted to Colin, yes, but as she said in her interlude she told Narwhal first because Narwhal is her bestie.

I wanted to give her more independence in her personal relationships rather than treating her being Armsmaster's waifu as the core of her character.

  • Who is your plus-one?
Think we could pull Fairy Dragon? She'll probably be needing a magical pick-me-up soon and should be hanging around tim to ask...
  • Social – This can be hanging out, exploring other worlds, training, whatever.

Tim- its time he got his damn pets.
Lacy- We need a healer, shits bout to get rough.

She would need a different name temporarily, but yeah, you could ask her.
Ooh ooh ooh, what are some good names for a small dragon? Drake gets used a good bit, but it really is just the same word as dragon. It's also a bit masculine. Wyvern could work, but it still seems a bit too powerful of a name for what amounts to fairy. Welp sometimes is used for immature dragons, so that's an option. Maybe some term for a small lizard, like lizard, skink, gecko, or anole.

I actually like Gecko as a name. Geckos can be pretty adorable and so is Dragon now. I mean, look at this cute little guy:

Agreed, or at least give the evidence to the PRT.
I'm not in favor of Epoch being our plus one even if we do spend a social action on the Adepts.
I'm not either, I meant a social action to try to convert him to heroism-which I'll admit would not be an overnight thing- which is independent of who we take to the meeting.

That said, while it wasn't my first thought, @Silently Watches' comments on the idea of taking Vista intrigues me. Sam or Tim were my first thoughts, but the idea of advocating getting the wards more involved like they were in Brockton sounds fun, although it might also piss off the Protectorate, and Youth Guard if they exist in this universe.

My original thought was Adepts and PS, since we've been putting them off. Then I was reminded that Lacey was an option, and figured getting that started sooner was probably better.

The Adepts have been waiting for, what, weeks? A month? If we don't talk to them soon they just won't call back. It's the second slot that needs talking about. PS has been waiting yes, but that's because he can. But, as much as I'd like us to set up our healer ASAP, she can also wait a week.

EDIT: my bringing up Epoch and all the others as our plus one was just to lay our options on the table, and see if any surprise options got traction they wouldn't, were they not mentioned. Taking Vista is directly poking the PRT/Protectorate though, which I'm hesitant to do.

We need to social the Adepts and bring them up to speed on what magic is if we want to have them be useful to us. Ignoring them is a bad idea, especially after the group broke up after the revelation. We want the Adepts remnants to become Taylor's minions because frankly, the point that Taylor can't be everywhere at once is a good point. And with the Privateers gone we are going to want better minions that let Taylor focus on bigger threats.

Im for giving Lacey Infinite Enhancement template during a social action as from all of those we can give a template to she has no powers to loose, is already close with us and can use some time to practice before she there is an emergency requiring healing skills.

I'm for the already discussed due, and as social I'm really intrigued by simply talking about anything with Storm. We've had him for the whole story, yet we gave him little chance to interact with us outside of hero related stuff.

Everyone please take a moment to refresh yourselves on THE RULES. You can find them in the Informational tab.

Remember that you get to pick two activities…

[ ] Tickets to Gangland, Part 4 – The local villains arranging a discussion about what to do about the foreign interlopers? Somewhat expected. Inviting the heroes to participate? Less so. Go to the meeting and find out what's going on.
-[ ] Who is your plus-one?
[ ] Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Part 3 – Lanster wants to talk to you some more about parahumans and the Endbringers. Take her to the Protectorate Museum in New York and exchange information there.
[ ] Long Live the King, Part 4 – Miss Militia warned you that the Privateers' attack on Fairyland would invite reprisals, and you can't get those words out of your head. Follow them the next time it sounds like they're going out to cause trouble.
[ ] Looking for Trouble – Go on patrol and maybe befriend someone. Or Befriend someone. Same thing, right?

…plus two socials.
[ ] Social – This can be hanging out, exploring other worlds, training, whatever.

-[X] Do you remember anything of the people the Templates were based on? How was the original Calamity Witch?
-[X] How is Perfect Storm dealing with the fate of Galea?

I thought long about who to take with us to the villains gathering. Tim or Missy? Ended up with Tim for one simple reason: he's an adult, and would provoke less of a reaction from the villains.
