I do believe that they'll not start any problem, they just discreetly deal with Lost Logia, persuade Taylor to join them and leave the planet.
Just like they did with Jewel Seeds and Nanoha, or Book of Darkness and Hayate.

One source of conflict I see is that from all evidence, especially in the invisible text not copied to Pit of Voles, Prefect Storm is the Lost Logia they were transporting.
How are they going to react when they realize that she is wielding not just any ordinary device, but the dangeorus Lost Logia?
Also that she's not willing to leave as long as the Endbringers threaten her people, and maybe not even then.

Every other time a non TSAB person has 'tamed' a Lost Logia the TSAB's response is to recruit them. We're unlikely to accept as long as Earth Bet is going down the drain like it is so hopefully we can convince them to help us in return for us joining them.

Considering that Hayate is the user of Tome of the Night Sky, which had quite the body-count over the years, and she only really got house arrest and mandatory service for her part in the conflict in A's (granted, it had been reprogrammed and cannot go nutso again); I imagine that they'd be fairly forgiving of Taylor being in possession of IAE as long as they can keep some eye on it (recruitment or something else). They'd certainly want to reprogram it eventually and make sure it doesn't go [ASSIMILATE EVERYTHING] again, but as long as things seem fine now, I don't think they'll spit on a good thing since it's obviously undercontrol ATM.
 
Didn't we already have that conversation? If a Lost Logia has bonded to someone non-hostile, they leave them with it. In Taylor's case, it will likely come down to a recruitment attempt that we can negotiate on.

Hasn't Perfect Storm mentioned Galeans and it not knowing the particulars of the TSAB or something?

They were under the impression that Prefect Storm was just another device from some random crew member that had bonded with her, and they also said they were coming to retrieve a dangerous Lost Logia called "Immortal Assimilation Engine" (not necessarily to Taylor, I'll have to double-check).
I'm asking how they will react when they find out that Perfect Storm is in fact the very thing they were sent to retrieve.

As I said, a potential source of conflict if they want to draft her into their military for the "crime" of stumbling upon a "dangerous artifact".

Again, separating the artifact from Taylor would also be a source of conflict. Especially since it seems semi-sentient.

I just had a thought that's going off on a tangent.
The above could set precedent for AI's in Earth Bet law, and Dragon would back Taylor & Storm completely for obvious (to Tim, Taylor and us) reasons.
Imagine if the Boston/Massachusetts court ruled that Storm has rights and is a person. How fast would Dragon start the process of immigrating from Canada to MA and begin the 7-year long naturalization process to become a citizen of that State?

And that's the thing, Taylor would not be the first person the TSAB has encountered who has bonded with a Lost Logia and is non-hostile. Attempting to force the issue with it as a 'crime' is counter-productive because you don't piss off someone who is in control of the WMD you are scared of.

Dragon already has citizenship, the fact that she is an AI muddies the water, but her citizenship would give her the beginnings of a defence in court if the government started to challenge her on it.

We had an argument about that several dozen of pages ago.
Most of people think TSAB is benevolent enough to let Taylor be, even if she refuse to join them.
I, for one, believe they'll not take 'no' for answer, but they won't have to because Taylor'll happily agree.

Also, there is another source of conflict:
QM mentioned there could be Belkans amongst TSAB team. So it's not only Enforcers freak out because their only contact at Earth-Bet is also the wielder of that exact Lost Logia they seek, it's also Taylor/IAE freak out because their alien helpers is also their old enemies.
That will be beautiful clusterfuck. :D

Eh, I don't think Storm is actually sapient enough to be considered a person. Maybe IAE, but not Storm.
That's one of my problems with Dragon. She found out that TSAB let Intelligent Devices to choose wielders and decided they would be more willing to accept her.
I, meanwhile, see Intelligent Devices as AI not just shackled, but lobotomized.

Also remember the TSAB CAN'T control it. They will play ball short of Taylor being demonstrably deranged or megalomaniacal.

Because the alternative is the Lost Logia living up to its name

Just for curiosity, but how familiar are you with MGLN? 'Cause while I think it's likely they'll insist to keep an eye on her the way you portray makes the TSAB sound way shadier than it ever was in canon.

I watched all series and movies and read quite a lot of fanfics.
...Including quite a dark fics, like stories about Lutecia joining TSAB black-ops and assasinating corrupt politicians, because it would be too hard to legally arrest and trial them.

And I don't think it's actually 'shadier'.
You see, 'Lost Logia is obeying to her, and she's a good girl. Nothing can possibly go wrong if we let her be' is quite reckless position.

Look at Book of Darkness incident, for example.
Yes, Hayate was a good girl, she didn't want to hurt anyone. But Wolkenritter still started to hunt mages to help her without her knowledge. Defence Programm still hijacked her power to wreck havoc. And even after it was destroyed, Reinforce had to basically commit suicide to prevent it respawn.

Look at Mariage system.
Did Ixpellia want to create cyborg-zombies and use them against TSAB? No, but her opinion was irrelevant. They just obeyed their programming.

IAE is a WMD with capability to fastly create new WMD and brainwash them to be loyal to him.
The only reason he's obeying Taylor is its damaged memory. What happens when it'll be repaired? What happens if IAE still will be loyal to her, but will have his own ideas of what's good for her? What happens if someone managed to manipulate Taylor with malicious intentions?
The only way to prevent all of this is to keep Taylor under monitoring.
And the best way to monitor her is to induct her into TSAB.
That way all'll be happy. TSAB will be sure IAE is stable, Taylor will be able to use her power for good.

But seriously tho, we saw that PS essentially gave Taylor full admin rights a while back. I don't expect IAE to betray Taylor anytime soon, unless it feels the need to adjust her personality to befit a queen or something to that extent.

...I do wonder if there's a Template for the previous queen. Or is that Calamity?
