Magical Girl Escalation Taylor (Worm/Nanoha)

[X] Trade both vials for two favors.

Our Taylor's not the sort to roll the dice on a person's life like that, knowing that mutation is a possibility. Leaving aside OOC knowledge, she'd probably rather take the favors. Especially given that artificial Linker Cores are an option now and that powers don't play well with Devices.

Actually, there's a reason Alexandria talked about how Cauldron refined the process. The vials don't have the risk of mutations. Tim's serums DO.

"No, don't do that!" Legend says, holding up his hand to you before pointing at Alexandria. "One of you is bad enough. We don't need more."
"This is getting out of hand. Now there are two of them!"
"We can hear you, you know?"

Given that at least the LCM serum gives mutations and Taylor knows this, this doesn't quite ring true to me.
Edit: Imp'd by QM! :V

"The offer is appreciated, but you likely have a better idea of what to do with them as well as a much larger body of people to select from."

Certain someone can research said Vial.

[X] Accept one vial and trade the other for one favor. Vote to pick the vial will follow.

I really want to know what Tim will find or produce.

This is the correct vote, imo. Two favors is great, but what if Tim can learn something game-changing from analyzing a vial? And also we'll have one saved up for a rainy day, just in case.

I'd like to have super powers in a can in our back pocket. Just in case.

The vials still can cause some mutations, see Canary as an example. Sure they are minor but they can happen.

We don't need Capes on our Magical Girls Team anyway.

I think a backup vial, for when/if we either find someone without a core, or need to quickly power up a muggle in an incident, is useful.
A favor from 2/3 of the top three most powerful people in the country is also pretty darn nice :D
...

Damn it, now I kinda want the two favour option...
Well, I'll be happy either way.

Whatever vial is chosen, Tim (and maybe Dragon) can give it a look over, run some tests, yadda yadda. If he learns something new from it, awesomesauce. If not, then the loss of time analyzing the vial won't hurt that much. Best case scenario, he can use whatever he learns from the vial to improve the process for making artificial mages. Plus, if I recall correctly, Cauldron capes do tend to be more powerful and/or versatile than normal triggers. Not as versatile as a mage of course. but regarding power, if all you have is a hammer, there's something to be said in having one of the biggest hammers around.

Letting Tim have a look at it might be worthwhile, and if not, then powers to give away! And more reliable than our other methods too, with QM statements made.

Does Taylor know that in character?
Taylor already let Missy go ahead with risking a mutation to get a Linker core, even if she didn't know it'd be in character for her to let someone accept the risk. And the QM has given us the OOC information that it is not an issue.
The vials won't cause mutations, that's enough information. In or out of character.
