Liaris Frees works harder the more passionate Bell is about accomplishing his goal. The harder QA is to match up to, the more driven he'll be to do so, and the faster he'll grow.

This is true. But, and this is a big, wonderful but, Liaris Frees still won't be enough. It's like expecting a newborn of being capable of cathing up with someone twenty years older. It can't happen. I fully expect QAylor to be above and beyond everyone else in not so far future.

This might just be me loving this story far too much, but still!

Are you sure? This Ais has her own growth boosting skill.
Unless she "leechs" 1:1 experience from QA+pets all the time - then maybe, also unlike QAylor, Ais is human as well (at least to the best of my knowledge, author could always pull a sneaky on us, can't discount that).
So if anything Bell might be able to at least communicate with Ais without 3+ degree of misunderstandings.

But yeah good question, QA might make more Friends and put them on rotation AND give Ais a Friend or dozen as well. Should Ais get experience from that... Well, damn...
Nor Bell nor Dungeon ever stood the chance.

Experience can't be leeched. The skills just alter the conditions at which Excellia is generated and how much. Ais's skill lets her grow by teaching others. The more those others accomplish and the lower level they are when she starts, the more she grows in turn.
I see that now. Good point @Gehoji, @Logos01.

One soul was silver-blue and shone like an alien star, its glittering crystal form endlessly shifting and folding inward in a manner Freya's eyes couldn't track no matter how hard she tried. Its linked counterpart, a more normal human soul, may once have been a brilliant crimson.
The artificial, cat-like 'Friends' boasted vibrant green souls untainted by anything save affectionate devotion to their mistresses.
Wait a minute... when did this become a MTG crossover?

. The Goddess of Hearth and Home didn't need to clean their home; it was already sparkling. Nope, she didn't need to do anything productive whatsoever.

She broke within half an hour.

"When did being lazy get boring?" Hestia wailed.

You've corrupted me, Hephaestus! This is all your fault!
for some reason this make me think of her making a bed and breakfast inn to quel her boredom and while she's flipping pancakes she'll say "You did this to me Hephaestus you did this to me" to Hephaestus on the other side of the counter

I wonder where QA's poison resistance is coming from? I don't think that she has any skill related to it. Is she just very good at ignoring the effects? That seems dangerous.

Hah. I swear that wasn't deliberate. IIRC, we're only given Bell and Aiz's soul colors in canon, so I had to improvise a lot. :p
When did this happen?
Offscreen, and after QAylor joined Hestia. Apart from that, the answer is one my questing players will be very familiar with: You don't know. :V

(The exact time honestly isn't all that important to the story.)

EDIT: Oh, if you meant the harem thing, see the next few pages. That's canon. See also: "Is it wrong to pick up girls in the Dungeon?"

Are you sure you read that sentence correctly? Read again. I'll wait.
"Apart from that, Administrator was doing a far better job of ignoring the floating particles of poison than grown men thrice her size."

The use of the terms "far better job of" and "than" denotes a comparison is occurring. The thing being compared is "ignoring the floating particles of poison" and the things being compared are:

"Administrator" and "grown men thrice her size".

There is, admittedly, an alternative reading which makes no sense in context: that Administrator is doing a better job ignoring the poison than she is ignoring grown men thrice her size.

At no point is there a valid reading of that sentence wherein there might be a poison that makes men grow thrice the size of a teenager's body.

Work on your reading comprehension skills.

Ah. You are right: the word is "than", not "that". Thanks for the advice!
I can only offer one of my own in return: telling people what they missed instead of patronisingly telling them to "work on their comprehension skills" makes you look less rude, which is a quality commonly considered undesirable. Glad to be of help!

I wonder if Soma might actually thank Taylor for giving someone resistance to his wine. His apathy and dissociation from his Familia is, IIRC, largely due to his depression and disgust over the inability of anyone to retain anything of themselves when drinking it.

I'm also curious as to how Bell will be affected by his changed circumstances. Or by Aiz's demonstrated hidden love for cute things. And of course by how QA reacts to his shoujo protagonist powers. Also it would be hilarious if Hestia still falls in love with him despite his being a member of another Familia.

And will Freya find it more amusing to hint at her observations of QA and Taylor when she next interacts with Hestia, or to keep the latter completely in the dark?

Yo let's chill guys.

Anyhow, this is awesome.

I feel a bit bad for Aiz though, at the rate things are going she really will be driven insane by Kitty deprevation.

And can't wait for the Fates to profess their undying love for Taylor.

He declares her his new Familia head upon seeing her new skill, and Dreamer's desire for Smolness is thwarted by her own efforts at kindness. QA just generally Smugs in Dreamer's direction with <DATA RETRANSMITTED> (which is Shardspeak for "I told you so!")

And of course by how QA reacts to his shoujo protagonist powers.
I was going to object to this but he is literally powered by Love and Beauty. So now I have a visual of him in a frilly skirt and a heart-shaped wand as his weapon and I have you to blame for this.

I hope you're happy with what you've done. :p

Nah. People get really interested and have strong desires for new things sometimes, that later turn out to be fads or at least become significant;y less important to them later on whether or not they ever actually got them. Aiz might still want the cats for a long time, but it won't be as burning a desire as it is now, especially (despite?) as she gets to interact with them anyway through her explorations with QA.

The unnecessary poison argument ended civilly, but yeah, that was a little excessive. Anyway...

Unfortunately for him, it's a gift intended for New-sister once she joins the family, not one to give before she joins. In Dreamer's opinion, the Spirit-blessing excuse won't hold as much water otherwise.

When his licencious god of a grandfather started telling him ribald bedtime stories and passed them off as heroic epics.

Poor kid never stood a chance.
He was basically programmed to be a harem protagonist since childhood.
I assumed the question was for when Bell joined Freya's Familia. But yeah, this too.

I just have to ask, what is a Black Hole Bell?
A Black Hole ____ could be used as a general term for a character who fits one or both of the following two links (mostly the first; the second when meant to be a side character):
tvtropes.org

Black Hole Sue - TV Tropes

The Black Hole Sue: Her gravity is so great, she draws all the attention and causes other characters (and, often, reality itself) to bend and contort in order to accommodate her. Characters don't act naturally around her. They instead serve as …

Spotlight-Stealing Squad - TV Tropes

Most works have a main character or a set of main characters who are supposed to be the main focus of the story. But sometimes this doesn't work. An actor might give such a set of performances that he or she will dominate whatever scene they're …

On their way into the Dungeon, Sir Kara shuddered, formed a spike at the top of his tail, and angled his head away from their path. Previously flagged anomaly. Queen Administrator followed the Friend's gaze with keen interest. The (now almost confirmed female) child walked nearby, the shifter now disguised as one of the cat-eared human variants QA wanted to pet so badly. Queen Administrator considered the possibility of potential head-petting to be a mark in the child's favor. The heavy beige and red cloak the girl wore beneath a massive backpack made it difficult to gauge whether her nutritional needs were being met, but the fact that she could (presumably) carry a full load within said backpack seemed to indicate that nutritional requirements were not on the list of concerns.

Huh, reread this and I always thought Lili used a (shiba inu) dog person's form, not a cat person's. Learn something new every day. (That tail looks more like a Shiba Inu than a house cat's)

Aren't there machine learning algorithms that QA could use to fix her shit? (She is kinda machine-y)
Or is this one of those algorithms but just in its starting stage?
Pretty sure it's a Machine Learning algorithm. First she has to explore and learn what maneuvers she's capable of, then she can learn to apply them to known attacks, and then finally grow beyond the known attacks and extrapolate from prior experience what to use against a new attack.

Hestia didn't need to hurry to read about Developmental Abilities like Tiona had suggested; it would be at least a few more days until Administrator leveled.
Damn it Hestia, you just invited Murphy over for tea!

Ais: Hestia, even I know you can't just steal people from other Familia.
Hestia: But look at him! He's so cute and snuggly and I can tell he's not getting enough TLC at home!
Ais: He does look sort of like a little bunny that needs to be pet and fed leafy green things.
Tiona: NOPE! Neither of you are allowed to steal him just to use him as a cuddle pet. (I need to pick his brain for fascinating mythology stories I haven't heard before)

(Huh, Syr might not be a potential love interest now since in canon she's heavily implied to just be Freya's cat's paw, even her name is an alias Freya uses in mythology)
