It's a Girl's World -- And Lilly wants Adventure

In a similar vein to TheBiggerFish, I'm wondering if Lilly can discuss the Child and the trial with Petal, or if that's cheating.

Also, is Myah caught in Valerie's effect with Lilly? She'd be one more person to have to factor into immediate plans.

I'm actually inclined to take the deal. Remember, it's been stated by {The Ladder} that Concordance attacks are extremely hard to defend against. Knowing the full scope of Concordance is a major boon. Even moreso when Senus Maric is a near-guaranteed enemy encounter later.

Also, this is informative:
NULLERROR is an outside-context problem; impossible to scry influence on the Concord. Historical aftershocks imply NULLERROR is prone to vindictive retribution and pathological capriciousness.
Not taking the trial could be worse than taking the trial and failing.

In a similar vein to TheBiggerFish, I'm wondering if Lilly can discuss the Child and the trial with Petal, or if that's cheating.
After the fact? Sure. Not before giving your answer though.

Also, is Myah caught in Valerie's effect with Lilly? She'd be one more person to have to factor into immediate plans.
Myah is not caught within the effect. All she knows is that you shot off like a bullet and crashed through your front door. Even if she runs, she is going to find it hard to get there before everything is already over.

...Okay...I'm just gonna quote-spagetti Silverking since he was so nice as to put his reaction in conveinet bullet points. Thanks Silverking!
...So, about that whole "everything's eventually going to settle down" bit, that's, uh, that's not happening for a while, huh. Holding off on voting until later, but here's some of my reactions.
  • Mathias is REALLY lucky that we both woke up and got [Bedrock] that makes Essence healing viable for us, particularly since his self-healing basically set his Mana-Curse to Hard Mode.
  • We just can't stop Demi-godding, huh? Abilities synergizing with other abilities, which both improves our understanding and helps us avoid sensory overloads. We're even getting closer to understanding the Dream, which is shaping up to be a whole other barrel of apples.
  • I'm leaning towards No to Not-Jeremy. I'm not in the mood for a "hard-mode" trial, particularly one given by a sadistic spirit. Particularly since we have enough problems making it through the next five minutes, apparently.
  • I know that Lilly's not trying to be a cult leader, but right now Myah views us as the only lifeboat on a stormy sea and is willing to do ANYTHING to get on. Glad that we got to Myah before total Inversion, though.
  • I'm going to need some more time to really dive into the Diviner's speech. I wonder if people will get suspicious when 2 families are leaving town near the end of the month.
  • It looks like "Is anyone divining Lilly?" is a soft No at this point, both due to Hybrid Siphon and general "can't hear the tip-toes for the earthquake siren" that the Concodoverse is going through right now.
  • Lilly, the ONE time you need to listen to Ladder, and you blow it. Ladder, the ONE big threat to everybody Lilly cares about, and you merely hint at a solution as a "fun fact". *sigh*
  • Dissolution, you're coming on a bit strong. I would say to ask Evie about how to give a good pitch, but she's shaking her head. Better luck next time, buddy.
1. Mathias-yeah he owes us big-time.
2. Yeah, Lily had a good time with all her powers cascading into other powers-I think an Ethos actually slotted into another Ethos in there.
3. ...Rapid Iterator you jerk. Or at least I REALLY hope that's what it is. Because otherwise we ran into a Demon, like what Evie might be like when she grows up some more.
4. ...Oooh. So that's it then. Just mundane Man beating on his Daughter because...IDK. I'd think he was a violent drunk but...
5. Long story short- Madam has been staring at a HUGE THING HAPPENING likely ever since she got her Concordance Ethos, and everything she's ever done since? Has been her weighing the odds of 'does this make THAT THING go away, or make it come closer/more likely?'. And now she actually has a shot at DOING something about it, through Lily. Woo-hoo! Now to explain that to the REST of our companions, that's about the only problem we have left with her I think.
6. Something something scrying defenses. I bet this is why Water's Concordance guy is interested in us, because he's noted those defenses but fell into the sweet spot of having enough power to track it to us while not being so powerful to get pulled into the 'Games of Divinity' all the other powers in the world is playing with.
7. SALT! (To be read as an expletive word)
8. So. We meet the face of our foe at last...
...
Okay.
So here's something that caught my attention, thinking about it.
Lily can hear through her Domain. But Ladder told her to break her ears, specifically.
That is INTERESTING.
It sounds like our foe is has like... 'Divine Commanding Voice' but the limitation is we have to HEAR it.
Frankly, given that Lily can and did make a 'cloak' of sound around her when retrieving Myah?
I think muting Valerie is how we stop her from doing any more damage to us or our family.
From there, our second step is to do...Something that renders her mute, then capture her 'inside' somehow and begin her healing process. Then we see to our family. Why so low on the list?
Because Valerie has INCREDIBLE potential to wreck things and only needs a few words to do so. We need to be certain she's off the table as a threat and target before we move to address the damage she's already done. Hopefully, not much...

As for Not-Jeremy? I don't know what that thing is, but he sounds like basic Spoil Brat archetype, only with enough power to make that kind of mindset a nightmare. Power enough to FORCE his games on us instead of simply moving on to another target...Though by the sounds of how he spoke of his 'games' I suspect while he's playing with us, he won't be messing with anyone else...?
So assuming he's not hitting us anytime soon, I'm inclined to take his deal. We've alot of up-front problems to deal with, getting to kick one down the curb actually sounds nice right now.

Tenative voting choices. Not X-ing because I don't want to commit to this yet. Just a showing where I'm going.
[ ] [BBLU] They retreated to gain respite, not realizing they were playing right into her hand.
[ ] [BLU] At her lowest point, she found a hidden light.
[ ] [SES] Shine, my Gentle Heart
SES is the only one I have strong feelings over. And that one is because quite frankly? We practically already are doing that to people. Zach. Madam. Myah. Silas. Marcus. All people drawn in awe of what Lily can, if not already has, accomplished. Suffice it to say, this Ethos could be quite useful for honing down how people are reacting to Lily and why. That, and we have hilarious amounts of power.
Space-warping, Essence mastery that might genuinely be trancendant- I seriously think Lily has some World-Class talents now when it comes to Essence, if not already is there.
...
Also, I'm kind of amused how Lily went from 'bored' to 'HOW DID YOU DO THAT' in the scene with the Madam, and her cute pout when she realized she got caught out.
...
It occurs to me Not-Jeremy's deal might be useful not just for Lily learning more of Concordance, but also we could take that knowledge and help Madam with it. Since she's already thrown her lot in with us...

Why didn't you listen to concordance lilly? Now you're barely not a puppet.
Also, really feeling like a broken record here, but I love the fact that Myah's father beating her half to death doesn't break any laws Lilly knows of.

Valerie Nireile's original mindstate is not yet irretrievable. Fully encompassing her heart within your domain to eject occupying entity followed by physical isolation within the {Attuned Locus} would allow {Rest State} to enact gradual recovery.
Wait isn't our Domain super short? Do we need to kali ma Val by physically reaching our hand through her chest to get it in our domain?

Still in the middle of reading but this just feels insane

Well, this is a pickle. I'm not able to think of solutions to the current crisis right now, so instead I'll complain about how I want a mana Ethos and am not going to get one because it turns out we really need a social Ethos, and Gentle Heart is darling. I'm not even mad, it's impossible to be mad at Gentle Heart, just a little frustrated. At least it covers both Oath and Flow, which will leave only mana uncovered, which will make it easier to argue for mana next time.

Now, how the heck do we break out of the mind control...

[x] [ACG] I Accepted the Trial.

This is risky, but possibly less risky than refusing. It already said it wanted to kill us. If we don't play, it won't have any more reason not to. If we do 'play'... suddenly it might actually have a reason to help us survive long enough to engage in its trial, which might be important when we're on the edge of death right now.
And besides, I think we're going to be playing 'Hard Mode' no matter what. Might as well get rewarded for it. We've already been told that it is vindictive.

Stop.: You cannot fight; Trying to do anything is almost as hard as convincing your own heart to stop beating. With the tools and power available to you, what can you possibly do in the thirteen seconds before the unthinkable occurs? Is this an impossible task? The end?
[x] [Stop] Valerie has made a classic mistake. If a person has a gun to your head, prey they are an evil person, for an evil person will draw out the moment, exulting in the power they have, in inflicting suffering. A good person will pull the trigger immediately, because if a good person has reached the point of deciding to kill someone, their decision has already been made and there is no time for hesitation.
We have been told to stop. We have others Connected to us that don't have to stop. Evie is clearly capable of acting to some extent at least, and Petal might be able to do something too. Connect to them, pass along [Cleaver of Fortune], and pray that perhaps, with one perfect second, they can accomplish something that will turn this around.
If that fails? Try assisted weasel-think; she said we were to Stop. She didn't say what to Stop. Can we Subvert our own thinking into believing she commanded us to Stop her?

[x] [BLU] At her lowest point, she found a hidden light.
We've been having a lot of low points. Anything that helps with them would be nice.

[x] [BBLU] She watched. She waited. Still and silent. When the opening came, she moved.
This is quite likely exactly what we need to break free of our current predicament. We wait. Then we move. Perhaps a Brave Heart can break free of the command.

[x] [SES] Shine, my Gentle Heart
If we're going to be the world's one last bastion of virtue, we should make sure we do our very best at it. This world already has far too many people who are selfish or actively malicious. It's high time we reminded it that benevolence is a mighty force to be reckoned with. When you don't have to watch for daggers in your back because you can genuinely trust the people who stand with you? Only then can you bring your full force to bear on the real problems. Selfishness is shortsighted, ultimately limited to only what a single individual can bring to bear or coerce out of others. Selflessness wins in the long run, provided it finds like minded people to join with.[/Stop]

I truly enjoy the manipulativeness of [The Ladder]. I love it when Lilly uses it to get what she wants and needs.

Still thinking over the voting choices. Only thing I'm set on is not picking [D̵̘̹́͝iss̷̝̰̿͌oĺ̷̤̪͑u̷͕͚̓tio̶͕͉͐̀n of ̵̝͆̌ th̴͈̋̒e̷͈͆͌ Se̸̯̺̎l̵̻͙̎f] (Apotheotic): (???)
Call me a wet blanket, but the attached passenger doesn't seem like a joy to be around.

Worth pointing out [ ] [BBLU] Her blood burned hot and thick, the enemy knew to avoid its scalding spray.

This one has appeared for the second time now, which I think is the first time Edit: 2nd time. @Half Moon is correct, DwtF offered [ ] Leaves die, and new ones grow anew. in both 1.4 and 1.9.

Still, seems suspicious.

I realize that Pithe works in concrete, hard-to-bend ways, but this specific option appears to have synergy with Marigold's entire skillset. Interesting.
Naturally, the risk of Divergence is real, and Lilly has geared Brave Blood toward movement, sound/harmony, fitted protection, and awareness (general themes).
Sort of disparate, actually. Might be why Divergence is an issue right now.

The other consideration is that given the high, high likelihood of sudden violence in the next update, this choice is more critical than ever. Have to be careful here.

Hmmm.... Assuming Lilly can somehow quickly regain control, if Lilly can Pulse Surge and tackle Valerie, she might be able to gag her, break her windpipe, or use {Subversion} to scramble her brain's language processing? Or as a protective move, even Lilly's own language processing?

Though Aboleath can probably directly defend against messing with Valerie's brain. Unless he can't?

From Interlude 2.1, he was the one to tell Valerie to say the words to "feel better" after all.

The Hail Mary is to try to connect to Valerie with Relations, and then shut her down somehow. That would probably require an optimal Ethos pick and some darn high rolls though, if it even possible. QM did say to use our imaginations.

Of course, Lilly might have to simultaneously use Essence to hold her family in place from attacking her or killing themselves. Maybe fire off a Stutter Ping too, check the room and send everything reeling? We know Valerie can command inanimate objects. Don't need any more surprises right now.

Remember back in 2.1, that combat-oriented Wood Memory function that Lilly didn't roll high enough to figure out? That might have come in handy, fighting inside wooden walls, standing on a hardwood floor. Sucks to suck sometimes.

These are just ideas. Not committed to anything yet.

This reminds me a bit of Jessica Jones Season 1, or Preacher. How do you fight someone who gives orders you can't disobey?

....No wonder two of Evie's last-offered options involved minions with unknown, presumably varying degrees of control over them. Gah!

Another eldrich being, and we've got protection in the form of Eevie and the Bedrock.
[x] [AC] Be more willing to listen to the Ladder and trust in it.
[X] [AC] If the Ladder warns you of a danger, listen. It wants us alive, even if it's a bit ruthless right now.
[X] [AC] Inform the Captain that the Diviner is on to us and wants in. Ask him what he thinks of her, since he has a lot more professional interaction with her than we've had.
[X] [AC] It seems we have the personal attention of one of the forces of the apocalypse, because really, what else could an entity that can't be identified by the world be? This really should be more terrifying than it is, but it seems to just be our life now. Especially after that thing got into our Ethea selection.
[X] [AC] Talk to our family about the stuff we need to talk to them about (see: statues segment, those concerns) when we get a chance.
Wait isn't our Domain super short? Do we need to kali ma Val by physically reaching our hand through her chest to get it in our domain?

Remonian geometry may be able to be used have her heart be surrounded by our flesh or essence strands because it makes space go funky. Like having our hand occupy the same space as her heart... while technically not.
{Slip Stream} is far more complex and takes far more effort. Within Essence, any two points always have at least one arbitrarily short path between each other. Most of the time these are impossible to ferret out of the countless dead-ends that surround them, but this power gives a nose for sniffing them out.
Like it's not the intended use for {slipstream}. But it might be useful for finding out in which spot or configuration there is the shortest distance in all sense of the word between you and her heart.

And {Magnify} is a fast forwards button. Like the flash. {Magnify} would combo ULTRA well with {Sample space}.

And of course, we have Sample Space to optimize our action. If it's possible to do it, we should find a way to occupy her heart within our body while also it being in her body. Like, maybe bending space a funky way and then using {Current Lock} to make sure the Essense construct that warps space stays intact.

[X] Use {Subversion} to alter what you heard. Rely on {Ply the Line} to lead you to the future where you restrain her and save your family. Listen to the {Ladder}'s advice to remove your ability to perceive. Use {Objective awareness} to perceive and disorientate Valerie with a {Stutter Ping}. Charge in with either {Magnify} or a well-timed {Pulse Surge}. Hold her in place with {Cessation Rivet}. Grab her heart through her chest and envelop it with your domain. Use {rest state} to bring her true feelings to the surface and exorcise the spirit. Use {sympathic linkage} on your family and calm them with {rest state}.

I channeled every bit of Madam Silva's full smug energy writing that bit .

Are you complaining because you wanted lasagna... but instead of giving you just lasagna, I let you pick between lasagna or ice-cream? :p

Wait isn't our Domain super short?
It has a minimum and maximum size. So far Lilly has never experimented with that, just leaving it at its minimum size all the time.

Hmm one thing to consider for our Brave Blood expansion and it maybe diverging is what Brave Blood actually is. Cause Lilly herself doesn't understand it despite it being her power. Cause she first thought it was generic warrior ability that she wished for but BB has a lot of weird expansion choices from that perspective. Like why is magical singing about feeling with no combat applications an option? Is the Blood part literal which is why there's an option to make our blood fiery aka making our blood 'brave'?

What follows is the scramblings of a mad man for a dumb theory that is probably wrong

"His own blood condemns him.
Hours forgotten grow slim.
The boy calls for his kin.
But the only answer, her sin."

The barest hints of feeling start returning to your fingers and toes as you struggle to parse meaning from the oration. "I don't understand."

"Woe the day, to be so scorned.
The order they came, twas not which they left.
Four to be born, yet three to hold breath.
Woe the day, to be so mourned."
Maybe this is just because I'm reading too much into a Spirit wearing his face but I almost feel like this is talking about Jeremy.

Since blood condemns him could refer to how he got the plague just like his mother and he did die alone with his family not around which could be him calling for his kin. Not sure what the 'her sin' means since it could refer to our friend or be someone else assuming this is referring to Jeremy at all.

Anyways the next line is simpler if still a little confusing. With the day being cursed at which is a rather common thing for sick people to do and especially in this case since Lilly herself stopped praying to Aurora the goddess of Day when Jeremy died. Then there's the simple the first to be born wasn't the first to die and that there were four born which is the number of people in the family including Myrah, Jeremy and their parents. Not sure how 3 holding breath works since 2 members of the family are dead so it can't refer to either the dead or alive. Maybe it refers to the Black Plague which makes breathing hard? Cause unless I want to go to conspiracy theories about maybe Jeremy or his mom didn't really die I have no other clue.

All in all I think I wasted my time looking for things that don't exist thanks for reading.

Well shit, that was not the best update I've ever scene. I'm wondering what ghost Jeremy's limits are and if he was at all influenced by quest discussion around Jeremy being the true bad guy all along. I think he might be the dungeon but I'm not sure what we can do about it given that he doesn't seem to need consent to set up his game. Given he stabbed us I'd say that he isn't a fae that wouldn't be able to fuck with us if we turned him down so I think we have to accept the trial. He's crazy and unbeatable right now but he wants us to suffer rather then to die well if we don't play along he'll find us boring and could very well go for the kill.

Myrh's scene's was less impactful then I had expected, I'm thinking a part of that came from still focusing on Jeremy's ghost when the seed was starting and the rest was because we already knew that it was coming. A part of it might have also been because we already had all the solutions before the problem was revealed. I mean she's out of the house and her father isn't strong enough to take her back, we already have a divination counter, and given we have to run anyway taking her from the house doesn't add any danger. It feels like it would have been more impactful if it had been something that we had run into before the forest and the rapist noble.

Madam Silva went better then planned and the understanding of divination is worth it alone. The fact that Divination gets more accurate the more time passes and is based off choices gives us a huge advantage even without our hybrid vortex. Most people get stronger over years which means that anyone looking will have an easier time figuring out what they can do but we haven't been around long enough for anything to solidify and with how quickly we've been growing and throwing away plans divination won't be useful until we decide to leave and right now we haven't made that decision because we still want to stay.

Valerie is back and this time in person with her new ethos Dissolution of self at least we can rule out one ethos easily enough. I'm not sure I understood the ethos selection bit it looked like we weren't going to get any new ethos because the tether fell off but it also didn't matter now because our soul didn't need the help anymore. It was weird and confusing and I'll need time to make sense of things.

Expansion wise I'm thinking that we need the terror expansion for brave blood because it sounds like moving against unnatural mental influences. If I'm wrong and it's something like bravery it will be useless. I have no idea what to do for My Resolution, Thy Bedrock I can't figure out what they do so I'd probably choose at her lowest point she found a hidden light but I have no idea if that would be good or not.

For ethos selection I'm thinking that Shine my gentle heart is the best choice here. It's an interesting ethos that seems purpose built for our current situation with Valerie given the hint that the main way to defeat her is to redeem her and it's useful outside of the situation as well. I think Valerie is flow so being able to see or interact with the energy will be important to counter and if I'm wrong Oath is also covered by Shine my Gentle Heart. Personally I also like Laywoman and A Loyal Steed but I can understand that neither of them are the best choice for this situation. At the very least Chariot would give us an Oath Ethos but he wouldn't exactly help us survive and Laywoman is an Essence ethos when we wanted to get a new type.

The plan on how not to die is where I'm stumped though I get that people think that switching with Petal is the solution but I was thinking hitting her with Resolution, Subversion, and Shine well connecting a relations bond on our mother so that her flow ethos could help us out. Switching with Petal might work but I was hoping that we had a different solution If people still want to turn control over to Petal then we need [ ] [BLU] She stepped inward, re-emerging when the danger had passed. In other words did anyone else think that bringing her into our domain meant that we had to hug her.

OK. No matter what, please select to subvert the order to "stop her". Not as a last resort, but as an early step of every plan.
Also, pick an expansion that you think may help with this specific encounter. We are in a life or death situation; if we fail this, we won't be able to use the positives of those ability that may be useful long term.
We should also consider the possibility of following the previous ladder instructions on our ears and seeing through our domain, possibly after we have already started to jump her.
And remember that Evie can physically attack.

Here are some of my preliminary thoughts.

1) THE TRIAL, I suspect, will be happening whether we accept or not. Vindictive enemy is exactly someone who will push it on us regardless of our wishes. I would accept, that way we at least get something out of it.

2) VALERIE has introduced herself, so we know we can affect her mindstate. And that her mindstate is important to this situation in the first place. Now, look below.

[] [BBLU] She watched. She waited. Still and silent. When the opening came, she moved.

This option I think may allow us to actually deal with Valerie. A single moment of decisive action. Especially combined with our Cleaver moments of success.

[Cessation Rivet] May be the key to actually containing her safely. She managed to STOP us. Why wouldn't we be capable of STOPPING her the same way?

I support the use of SUBVERSION to make us think we need to STOP Valerie, and not ourselves.

Edit: The option of "they thought the Terror would stop her" for BBLU may also help.

Edit: SUBVERSION use on Valerie herself may also help with containing her, but remember that this ability works much much faster on Lilly than on anyone else.

Edit: Depending on interpretation linking Valerie to Lilly via the Towering Edifice to Heaven may allow us to better extend our influence on her. Be it Cessation Rivet, Domain, Subversion or something else. Noone said that having a deeper Connection to the enemy is useless against them.

So thoughts so far upon reading parts of the updated sheet and what I thought about during the update it self.

I think the Petal take the wheel idea is pretty good and may have merit to it. Not sure if it will work our exactly since if Evie was effected by the command I bet Petal was too. Also not sure if Petal can even puppet our body even if we want her to do so.

Another potential idea is to subvert ourselves to not know what Stop is since we can't do what we don't know. This is obviously a bad idea in the long term but I think Evie, Petal, and Bedrock can help fix that. Also probably not a good idea for trying to save Val from herself since if we don't know to stop pushing our hand towards her heart when we reach the range for our domain it could have Lilly just keep pushing until her palm goes out the other side of Val.

Stutter Ping can work as a sort of flash grenade to the unprepared which might stun Val enough to not be able to issue another command.

However we figure out to move I think we should consider that it will be pretty obvious when someone supernaturally still (yet somehow still able to breathe considering our family hasn't chocked to death yet) starts moving again. Especially since she's right in front of us even if she's looking at Mom at the moment since even if Val isn't paying attention I bet Abby is. So what Lilly should do if possible is Cessation Rivet herself (or Current Lock if it applies here not that I think it does) before freeing herself so her unavoidable trembles and movements don't give the game away before she can act. This is possible because I doubt Val can see Essence and even if Abby knows its a thing to be wary of it's probably piggybacking off of Val's senses which shouldn't see it.

Speaking about how Val probably can't see Essence we can probably attempt to do something with Essence before we even get close to Val to mess with her which might buy us a breathe to do something before she does another command. Like maybe she has grass in her shoes and so we tickle them to make her laugh since I doubt she can do that and TALK at the same time.

Our current max domain size is 20 cm which should be more than enough to fully cover Val's heart if we can get a hand on her chest. Issue is that Lilly has never really stretched her domain size before and I'm not sure even if knew how to do that at a drop of a hat that ejecting Abby would be that simple. So I caution a use of Sample Space to make sure Lilly does that without messing up. We hopefully won't need the full second since that might hurt Cleaver again when we still haven't healed the previous damage. If possible I think we can save Sample Space for when we're about to do the Domain stuff and not use it reaching Val even if I feel Lilly can close the distance in a tenth of a second.

Another thing to consider is that we need to put Val in our Locus/Dream Realm after getting rid of Abby. I'm not sure how fast we need to do that. Do we need to do it ASAP as we get rid of Abby or do we have some time? I'll err on the side of caution again and suggest we do it ASAP and since Lilly hasn't actually experimented on how to put anything in our Locus before we'll want Sample Space again for this.

Possible issue with Sample Space suggestions that I and others have. Ladder didn't mention anything about using SS despite this situation seemingly calling for it and it saying when and how long to do so in the past. This could be Ladder thinks we shouldn't use it here for some reason or that Ladder thinks we're smart enough to know to use it here and doesn't want to waste energy telling us. No clue which is the right answer.

Exact wording apparently counts for Val's command since when she says eyes even if she means a single eye the command forces one to 'deal' with both eyes.

Abby said Val would be able to not need to speak for her power to work by the end of the month. This was said around 4th day of the month and it is currently the 8th of the same month. This hopefully means she still needs to speak to issue commands and that there may be tricks to keep her from speaking or keeping her commands from being heard. Like maybe we can Cessation Rivet the air to prevent sound waves?

Valerie apparently in the first interlude was in Loilsv since she mentioned she was dragging her dress in the 'Loilsvan countryside' she also mentioned low counties which could mean poor counties in a nation or be a term used by those in the Superpower Human Nations to call the weaker countries.

Last thing to note but we have our Minor Relations slots available even one on Myrah since I doubt less than 10 seconds of divination protection will mean much unless we get coma'd again. Not sure how we would use them but we have the option. Maybe something to Relate Bedrock and Subversion to fix ourselves faster? Maybe try and buff Chassis real fast to no sell Val's Commands since Chassis should be able to do that at a higher level? Maybe Relate Stutter Ping with Subversion to make the Ping qualify for contact so we can Subversion delay Val?

2) VALERIE has introduced herself, so we know we can affect her mindstate. And that her mindstate is important to this situation in the first place. Now, look below.
This is where you could use Bedrock as a weapon. Like using sensation Rivert to disrupt her self-applied mind control, bring her natural state to the forefront where she is in mental turmoil, which distracts her from resisting us and from hurting our family.
It'd be mental warfare. Subversion could be layered on top of that, too, get her to stop or want to surrender as well. I don't know if rest state could be useful here, might be used to calm her down.

And if all of that could be guided by our Ply The Line, that'd be grand.

Another potential idea is to subvert ourselves to not know what Stop is since we can't do what we don't know.
This is a very good idea infact. We can change to believe what "to STOP" means, like subvert us to believe that we need to "STOP" her, or "STOP" means "DO". Which has been proven to be possible to revert with bedrock, making it perfectly safe for Lilly.

For to prevent hearing her. We have absolute control over our domain. We have to give the domain that extends past our body to not transfer any sound.

Flow Ethea represent information sifting capacity.
So this is from our upgraded Improved Senses Domain Trait where half of our ability to deal with thermal and subsonic stuff is Essence upgrading our body to be able to handle and half Flow Ethea helping us sift through all the data. Doesn't mean much in our current situation but I thought it good to mention since it tells us a little about Flow and its easy to miss
