The Chamber of Secrets indeed. How many of them you'll carry out, however, is up to you - I should mention that repeat explorations in the future are unlikely to yield any more loot, barring spending of Gnosis.
To be quite honest, I think SAVING would be unwise when it's explicitly written that "repeat explorations in the future are unlikely to yield more loot."

[X] Plan To Atlantis and Beyond!
-[X] Alchemy Primer
-[X] Impossible Perfection
-[X] Secret of Ocean

Total expenditure: 9 Gnosis.

I chose the first two because Impossible Perfection's Astrological event sounds like it could open up a sidequest, and the Alchemy Primer boosts a particular field that we don't have a Tris boost for, but has tremendous synergy with our Tris picks.

Though, the most important part here is the Secret of Ocean.

If we can get to Atlantis early on, we'd be able to unearth some of the secrets of the civilization that created Wand Magic, and as such would definitely boost our growth curve significantly. That's an opportunity we wouldn't want to miss out on, I think.

Though, to be honest, more than that, I want that DEEP LORE on the setting. :V

[X] Plan To Atlantis and Beyond!

Sorry guys, but it's Atlantis. We really know so little about the lore. It could potentially help us hatch.

I bet you anything the bathroom entrance seals itself or gets sabotaged by the prisoner of Azkaban or something.

This isn't really a key to Atlantis, just a clue to what may amount to be the location of Atlantis.
This is but the beginning of a side quest that will result in us getting to Atlantis and is not by any means irreplaceable.

Why do you think that it costs so little?

We might also not be in any position to take advantage of such a discovery early on, be it through a lack of power to get there and survive, a lack of knowledge to understand what we see there, or a lack of means to actually get there.

We may very well find the location somewhat earlier than otherwise possible only to be forced to sit and wait for all of the perquisites to actually go there to be fulfilled.

This is seriously not worth it.
What we need to do is to save and reach 50 Gnosis and then spend it on something practical that we can actually use to help ourselves right away. instead.

All the gifts that we will not find will be available to the heir of Slytherin. We have a natural charm, a legilimency, an invisibility cloak and knowledge of the location of the secret room. And all this can be used to gain knowledge about the location of Atlantis.
We'll just offer him cooperation and use the invisibility cloak to track everything he finds.

Well, no that's not what it quite says.

It says no more free loot without Gnosis. Since what you want to pick are gnosis dependant anyway, outside of the two the other plan already has, I think there isn't a danger of it being lost forever or even going far away.

And youd be spending gnosis on an extra loot anyway, if any loot at all will cost in the future.

[X] Plan Keep Saving!!!
We are so close to getting that sweet 50 Gnosis reward, one last push!

But the location itself is under a geass, otherwise Geist himself could tell us. He'll fill us all in about Atlantean secrets once he's free to talk I imagine.

@Valkhir I think it's likely the easy path in we came might not be available. And we'd have to use the trapped entrances.

With the help of higher astrology, we remove all oaths from Geyst

That could take a while. It might be useful to get the Atlantian lore now before the convocation happens. We could use them to push our magic to higher levels possibly. Or it could prove to be a critical piece of the puzzle. We can earn back the seven gnosis surely..

Any particular reason why this might be so? Even if the tunnel is blocked (for some reason?) magic can fix that and the Chamber itself regenerates so much we couldn't even rune it.

You do know we're paying for a secret that let Geist seek out Atlantis, not Atlantis itself nevermind Atlantean magic lore? It will extremely likely take a lot of time to make use of.

The Prisoner of Azkaban presumably left that way. He is a higher level heir than us, he could possibly entrap it. But that is paranoia on my part yes.

Birdsie does like to give us once off options for gnosis expenditure though. For balancing purposes the Chamber might not be available for casual exploration at whim..

@Valkhir but there is geass that stops him from thinking about Atlantis. Magical lore or not, talking about Atlantis might reveal a lot of things for us. Which we could potentially find use for other things. Especially with Geist being able to talk freely about that and other related subjects about it.

Not thinking, talking about it.
If we uncover what we uncover then he will only be able to talk about it with us and hint at nothing because there's a geas on him like you said.

It's basically a wasted effort on that end.

I still think a seven gnosis purchase won't necessarily be a wasted effort..

It's a little frustrating that we still haven't uncovered any of the ancient lores like Arthurian stuff or the dream mysteries and death.

Atlantis will not reveal the secrets of beauty to us if we are not at least at the level of the archmeister. And even more so, we should not forget that there may be terrible dangers that will destroy us without good skills. So the key to Atlantis is useless for us now, and when it becomes useful, we can get it for free.

So let's talk about the Rings and the missing Chosen.

Only Hufflepuff ring left to go, but we still need to get the other two rings to the Heir and Champion. How much time do we have until the Convocation? If we dropped the coursework and studies next turn we might have time to get all the things done with Neville.

I wonder if our combined Astrology levels are enough to pull off something like using the Star of the Chosen to mark out the others in the map.

The Hufflepuff ring has no leads. We will have to talk to the Friar and the inner circle members. Investigate the cup. Maybe ask the House-elves as well?

If we write a couple of hints and get gnosis up to 50, then we will have enough skills for this.

[X] Impossible Perfection
selected without further comment as a matter of simple preference, though it looks to be winning anyway.

[X] Plan: The Closed Chamber Murder
-[X] Old Wand
-[X] Book of Dark Law
-[X] Impossible Perfection

A dedicated wand for the Black Arts? Yes, please.

Can't see us committing whatever it is we want to do because of the Cloak, can't check our wand for incriminating casting because we used a spare. The perfect criminal that'll probably only commit minor misdemeanors, I like it.

I just realised we have a cheat with Impossible Perfection.. instead of waiting years to understand it we can just throw Ornias at it and finally get our money's worth from him.
