Green Sun, Black Shadows (CG/Exalted)

Alright, how about this?

1. We TRY to social-fu them into accepting not needing to see what's behind the mask. I think this will likely fail, but maybe we'll get lucky with the dice. I'll try to think of something that will work.
2. IF that fails we offer to make a deal - we show one of them (Kallen) our face if she'll make an oath to keep the secrets we've revealed to herself until such time we release her from the oath (do this as soon as Lelouch thinks she's trustworthy IC) and use our anima power to enforce it. Kallen vouches for us, which gets the rest of the group's trust.

Will that satisfy everyone?

That's not really a whole plan, and that's not their worry. Plus no stunt. The problem with us being Japanese using LSD is that 1) is a lie (which they don't want to do at all, because 'consequences') and 2) makes our cause seem racially motivated, which isn't something we want to do either for long term reasons. (our revolution doesn't stop at Japan, nor does it discriminate)

Dude, we're going to have a guy who's going to start punchsploding Knightmares in front of these people. Freaky powers are going to start showing up and they aren't going to be kept secret forever.

You seem to be assuming you can social-fu this situation because we're Exalted, but you're only going to be doing it with mortal abilities at this rate - you're not willing to lie, so no Ebon Dragon Excellency, and you're not willing to be alien and enigmatic, so no Oramus Excellency. We have a certain toolset and it's aimed at being good at certain things, but you don't want to use it.

And as far as your social-fu plan goes, what is it you actually want to say to them? What happens if they say "show us what's behind the mask or we walk"? That's the main concern I have here. Saying "it's dangerous if you know who I am" is an obvious copout.
I'd much rather try and keep our slayer as a deniable asset uptill we absolutely have to let him murder hobo alongside the black knights. If not, oh well, the time to reveal the supernatural is when it swoops in to save their asses and pulls a Big Damn Hero, not when they are wary of an unknown.

I'm going to try and angle for the enigmatic, in what our limitations are, in convincing them that finding out who we are is more trouble than its worth. If they threaten to walk we can flat out tell them they'll be dead in no time, next time a Shinjuku happens we won't save them; if there's a point where we ought to reveal our powers that would be it. Not as an appeal to virtue, but to show them they are Screwed if they don't work with us because the night is dark and full of terrors. The whole point of this is to be enigmatic and social fu our way out of giving them any info, if thats not keeping secrets I don't know what is.

I'm more in favor of this , I think well thought out social fu has a chance but this is a good compromise.

Yeah... once the Slayer is with us we're not likely to get him/her to stay put. Chosen by Isodoris, remember? Hedonism and independence are big parts of the theme there. We don't "let" him/her do anything. He/she's just gonna do what he/she wants. We can make suggestions and hope they're followed, but he/she's gonna punchsplode stuff as desired, most likely.

Ok, I'll come up with something or another and get the plan together.

I think probably blatant, easily exposed lies would be much less effective than simply remaining enigmatic, but prove our chops by performance. We got the social firepower to swing their opinion often enough until then.

After all, we're all terrorists, we have plenty of reasons for secrecy, and they'd understand that about information control as well. We don't need to tell them how we achieve miracles, just SHOW them we got everything under control.

In class on phone.

My idea was to LSD into a guy who is an unholy mix of Darkman, Skullface, and Decoy Octopus; that is, heavily burned body with a skull that has cheekbones and other features removed.

I mentioned using a heavily scarred false face, but again people don't want to out and out lie to our allies due to possible future consequences if it's revealed Lelouch is Zero.

Except only our inner circle knows it's racially motivated. The rest of the world will only see Zero's mask. And like I said, the 'Consequences' of lying here will only happen if someone get our mask damaged and hit us with the Charm that destroy magical disguises. If we get caught in physical combat like that, we might as well be dead. This is exalted.

Physical combat usually comes down to: We win or we die.

And you think Tamaki will keep his mouth shut because...?

Honestly I could care less about lying about our appearance to them, its trying to induct them into the supernatural so early I'm wary of.

Others have griped about lying about our appearance, though. This entire thing is giving me a headache. People don't want to deceive them, but we're playing Lelouch as a Fiend for god's sake...

Then he doesn't get to be our inner circle. As Abridged!Kirito said: "Front Line!"

He's going to be at this meeting, so any plan involving showing our face will involve him seeing it. He's a senior member of Kallen's group, which is why he's got a place in the inner circle of the Black Knights in canon.

Ok, can I get a rough straw poll here on which plan I should write, and I'll do so in the morning?
Plan 1: Try social-fu to get them to back off on not seeing behind the mask. If that fails, offer to let Kallen see and vouch for us if she'll take an anima enforced oath to keep our secrets to herself. (and actually, Assumption of Mu might well keep said secrets for us if someone tries to Charm the knowledge from her, or Mao uses his Geass or something)
Plan 2: Fake face using LSD. I would go with someone who is scarred, so race can't be determined and they can get some idea of why we hate Britannia.

I like plan 2.

Plan two. It makes us Not!Darth Vader. :D

In truth, we only need to convince Kellen and Ohgi and show them our face. Once we have them on our side the trust of the other Knights will follow. We can keep the people that knows our "True Face" to these two and call it OPSEC.

We can always pretend to be an EU-supported individual assigned to Area 11. We can also claim that our family was killed by Britannians during the Britannian war with the EU.

I'd prefer not to make any claims, or at most, lie with a partial truth, which can be the most devastating lie of all, as those familiar with Robert Jordan's Aes Sedai know.

Just a thought: There's a lot of talk about how we're going to control the Slayer... what if the Slayer decides to control us?

Like Enjou noted, he's favored by the Primordial Titan of Not Giving a Fuck. He was also chosen by the Primordial Titan of Beating Them 'till They Listen.

I don't think we're gonna be the boss of this guy, whoever he is. Best case scenario, we convince him that our goals were what he really wanted all along.

Plan 1. I think Plan 1 leaves us a lot more room to maneuver, and even if we do seem a little frightening, that will only make them more loyal. Better for the monster to be on your side than theirs, after all.
