Green Sun, Black Shadows (CG/Exalted)

To clarify my position, as per the book when a Yozi opens the door aka allows a Infernal to use their charms, ALL the infernals get it without exceptions. The 5 Reclamation Yozi have already opened their charms to the Infernals and all of them regardless of Caste have access to those charms. Just at an extra 2xp price if it isn't caste or favored.

Infact the 5 Yozi, well 4 since Adorjan didn't really join in on this, tried to get the others to pen their charms to the Infernals as well, citing a number of benifits like preserving power incase of Fetitch Death and others. So far they have only convinced Kimbery but a few were considering it like Isodorus and Sorzeny.

The infernal sig characters also have multiple charms from multiple Yozi. The book also clarifies that once the door is open it cannot be closed and if it is granted to one infernal all infernal gets it.

Green Sun Princes work differently. Once a Yozi personally
teaches any of its Charms to one of Hell's Chosen, the
door opens for all Green Sun Princes to learn any of that
Yozi's Charms, even without a teacher. Once opened, this
door can't be closed, which is a major source of reluctance
from the Yozis who have not yet decided to take part in the
Green Sun Prince initiative. Infernals can't learn Charms
for Yozis they can't access or Charms one Yozi adapted from
study of a sibling, even if taught by someone who knows the
Charm. Fiends are an exception and may learn the Charms of
prohibited Yozis as foreign Charms using their anima power,
though this does not unlock that Yozi's Charms for all Green
Sun Princes. They can teach Infernal Charms to anyone capable
of learning them and cannot learn the Charms of other
beings except through effects like the Fiend anima power.
There IS an exception to that. A Primordial can choose to teach charms to a single exalt and no others. However this comes with the drawback that the charms cannot be learned on one's own, and would require either a 3rd circle tutor or a Yozi forcably cramming them into your head.

Example: Szoreny opens his charmset and has an Infernal running about doing crap. Said Infernal decides to go ask Isidoros to teach him his charms, whereupon the Black Boar says "HOLY SHIT A TINY FOREST!" and accidentally punts the exalt across malfeas. Said exalt wakes up later knowing how to punt people several miles.

This is just a rough example, so I might be a little off on the mechanics due to not having the book in front of me.

You know, it occurs to me that we don't know whether or not the Emperor has his canon Geass or not. He might be Dragonblooded. But then again, with Geass being incompatible with Exaltation and Nunnally having her eyes closed it indicates that someone did something to her to keep her eyes closed. That means either Charles has his Geass or he has someone with a Geass that can at least partially do the same thing as his canon Geass in his employ, unless he's got some custom Charm for that. (though I don't think that Dragonblooded Charms allow such long term affects - someone with more familiarity with Dragonblooded Charms might correct me on this)

On that note though, Schneizel may be Dragonblooded (he's 27 years old, so would be 22 when the Jade Prison was opened, and thus would have already Exalted if he had) which would be good for us because he seems like he could get a Solar or Lunar Exaltation otherwise.

Well, now that I think about it, maybe he has both? Alexander89 said when someone with geass exalts they lose the geass, but what would stop an exalt from gaining a geass afterwards?

Hmm.
As a Fiend, Lelouch could learn Infernal charms from Milly, or any of his other fellow coven members, even without going to Malfeas.

What charms does Milly have I wonder, and which ones would be worth getting her to teach us?

Wind-Born Stride for sure if we have her teach us. That is a super useful Permanent Charm, and without the need to repurchase it's even better. Especially for a character using firearms as a primary weapon, since it allows us to maintain a distance from our enemies. First, it removes the DV penalty of -2 for dashing. Second, it removes the need for a dice roll to dash through treacherous terrain. Finally, it adds the Infernal's Essence to her Dexterity rating for the purpose of calculating dashing speed. (this part may need rewriting since repurchases are free, but effectively with consistent repurchase you add Essence^2 - at Essence 2 you add 4, at Essence 3 you add 9, at Essence 4 you add 16, etc.) Effectively that means the Infernal can go that many more yards per tick when dashing.

...and it would let us outrun Suzaku... probably.

We can learn other infernal chams even if we were not a fiend. We just need the charm set open to us. I don't think we're getting around thay with our caste power

There's no reason it shouldn't be allowed, so long as the standard rules are applied - double XP costs and a +2 mote surcharge on non-Permanent Charms. Also, you need a tutor, which means someone has to spend the required training time teaching you. In this case it would mean Lelouch and Milly having to spend a total of 48 hours together discussing how to do the Charm. For Yozi Charms, maybe refund the excess experience once you've gotten access to the set by giving an extra Charm of the Infernal's choice from the set. @Alexander89 - thoughts on this?

At double cost. Not worth it. Really, we just need to go to Malfeas and convince him to open the charmset, and we want to do it anyway. Other charmsets are interesting but less important now.

It's worth it depending on how many Charms in a set you want, the time it might take to get access to those Charms, and whether or not the Yozi in question would give access in the first place.

One thing we need to do is find some way to get Nina on our side. The Albert Einstein of Code Geass with access to Infernal magic, let alone War Striders= EPIC. and Ninja Lady as a Scourge, Lelouch needs some one competent to look after his sister this time around

Cure her phobia first.

Or just get her obsessed with Lelouch. Or Milly, even.

I've seen a number of Geass fics that change who she obsesses over from Euphemia to someone else. In one it's Lelouch, in another it's Suzaku (though she doesn't know he's Japanese, or what he looks like - she only considers the pilot of the Lancelot as her white knight) - in both cases it's because one or the other saves her from some Japanese people who are scaring her. The take is that she's not actually a lesbian, or at least that she's bisexual, and falls for whoever makes her feel safe.

Yeah...otherwise working with demon tech would be even harder

He means her phobia of Elevens.

what if she exalted as a Defiler during that incident, what demon would go best with her?

And doesn't Rivals feelings about Milly work if he's a Lunar?

It doesn't particularly matter. Unwoven Coadjutors aren't necessarily assigned based on suitability. In fact, you can have a zero dot one that is either silent most of the time or hardly ever shuts up and babbles constantly. (actually, nothing is to say a higher dot one can't babble quite a bit either)

Speaking of that, @Alexander89 - it appears you may have missed something during character creation. An Unwoven Coadjutor of dot one and up should give a Specialty related to demons or the Yozi realm. Examples from the book: Performance (Prayers to Cecelyne), Occult (Demon Summoning), Larceny (Malfean Street Gangs), War (Demon Mass Combat)

[X] "...this explains so much."
-[X] *Sigh* "Give me a moment, would you?"
--[X] Briefly and silently, but massively, freak the flying fuck out.

I'm pretty sure most of them do have personalities - first circle demons at least can all be people, just like humans.

I remember reading something to that effect in the Compass - Malfeas book, the average 'newborn' 1CD demon doesn't come with a distinct personality, though it's intelligent depending on the species, just the standard emotional template of that species. They may or may not even have a name.

A Heroic 1CD however, is distinct from the rest of it's fellows, and definitely has a name. They're usually also older and pack a few skills/charms that their stock version doesn't from development.

If she has issues with people, I would think it would be even harder to work with demons.

Personal opinion though

Shyness != phobia. She can deal with Britannians just fine, even if she's a bit socially awkward, and in scientist mode she'd probably drop all shyness due to being too interested in the science to really care about what people think of her. The issue with Elevens is she's deathly afraid of them.
