Green Sun, Black Shadows (CG/Exalted)

He might "just" have maxed-out stats and specialties. Like, Dex 5, Dodge 5 (Firearms 3), Martial Arts 5 (Spinkicks 3), Athletics 5 (Jumping 3), and so on. And since he's probably a Heroic Mortal, he an also stunt, which would net him additional dice now and then.

Throw in that Exalted mortals are generally much more capable than real world mortals (I think simlpy having Strength 3 and Athletics 3 is already enough to jump 6m high or something like that), and he doesn't necessarily have to be an Exalt.

I think he can also channel his Conviction 4-5 to add more dice.

You can abuse SO MUCH the 'be any type of Exalt' charm. Seriously, choose one Solar and one Sideral form and you're set forever.
Massive balance issues yeah. I'd personally go with the "fake the anima and aspect markings" approach, coupled to a generalized Shaping attack like Principle Invoking Onslaught you can use to fake the more overt skills of each.
What do you suggest then? Would make so a 'Self' is fixed at the moment of creation and cannot be changed (raising attributes, Essence, ecc.) works? So if Lelouch grow in power as an Infernal, he must purchase a new Self to reflect those change or he is forced into a form with less dots everywhere.
Can someone remind me how Infernals increase their essence rating in universe? All I remember is that Abyssals have to sit in a grave yard for months contemplating oblivion, refining their soul.

So how does the rock stars of hell do it?
I would like to know too: I can't find it in the manual.
He could be Rakasha, think about it and how he acts...
Yeah, 8 is a lot for a mere mortal - but what Suzaku does in that video would be vaguely difficult for even Exalts to pull off. He's a fucking freak of nature. I mean look at this shit - he breaks three steel spears apart with a single kick while dropping down from the ceiling. Combining that with being able to outrun machinegun fire, run up a wall and then casually rip the gun off its roof mounting with a single kick is enough evidence that Suzaku is beyond what most mortals would consider 'possible'.

Like, this is low-level Exalt stuff he's doing here. As a mortal.
Hm...it is strange he's so...wow

maybe he just spent his XP on physicals and neglected everything else?
He did.
Or it could be he's just...a 0 breed DB.....if he was exalted.

I am curious on ALexander89's take on this. But I suspect that he would say it's classified
Or he could be an enlightened mortal who know Terrestrial Martial Arts :p
More fuel for the Suzaku bullshit.

Here he dodges machine gun fire from three of the newer generation Knightmare Frames(Equivalent of at least the original Lancelot model) and jumps absurd vertical distances to reach Lelouch's throne.

The ending still makes me so sad :(

Infernals increase their essence by meditating on the nature of usually their Patron Yozi but also possibly their Favored Yozi. At least that is how most people go along with. It is a bit confusing.

In the books, all it says it that an Infernal has to go to Malfeas and meditate, similar to how a Abyssal has to go to a Shadow Land or the Underworld to raise his essence or how a solar contemplates the sun during dawn and such.

EDIT:

OFC this is for E4+. E3 is instant and can be done anywhere. Also don't have the PDF with me so I can't confirm this right now and only remember it off the top of my head.

Personally, the alternate selves are fine(currently playing an Exalted 3E character using that gimmick, it's less powerful than it seems, though versatile), but only swap attributes and abilities around. Becoming a different supernatural category however, cannot be balanced....

So split up the task of "Pretending to be Dragonblooded" into multiple tasks:
-Look the part - Easy. Just make sure Loom Snarling Deception/Flawlessly Impenetrable Disguise can cover the physical appearance, and any aspect markings. Add an extension that lets you mask your anima banner as another, even if it's just visually.

-Different skills - Buy one set of skill respec each repurchase. Easy enough. As long as it requires enough time to switch that you can't put one on during a scene, it cannot be exploited to achieve "I have functionally everything at 5". Don't bother with anything complicated about shuffling skills around, allow 1:1 stat exchanges.

-Abilities - You have a few that basically just require a 'disguise' charm for the attacks like Principle Invoking Onslaught does, for the rest, perhaps look to the Assumptions in Graceful Wicked Masques for inspiration?

I don't think I understand this part. Can you re-phrase it?

I'll have a look.

I'll PM you the charm text for the 3E personas implementation of it when I get home
I believe he means something like this...

Want to be good at Martial Arts but you're not? At creating the character take your War 4 ability and spend 1 XP to have the fake identity have Martial Arts 4. If you had any dots in Martial Arts they go to War.
I see. Maybe I wrote the text wrong but I will say it again: with Glimpsed through a Warped Mirror you can't gain traits like, for example, Puissance Mimicry Intuition. You just move around the dots in your character sheet so that the alternate Self is virtually identical, experience wise, to your primary Self but in different areas.

Starting the update in half an hour. It will mark the end of the Shinjuku Scene, so I want to be sure of something before that:

Using NetTally tells me that 79 different people voted for the choices presented. By the rules in Rules and Timeline, Lelouch receives a bonus of (79/5)=16 (15,8) Xp.

Is this right or I missed something?

I think that sounds right.

And this is just the start of why social exalted are just as terrifying as combat speced exalts.

Nice rolls. For the +1 Willpower= +1 success, what does that mean, exactly? Did we gain Willpower due to something that happened or did we spend a point of it?

EDIT - Oh, and you said a while back we might get some XP for discussion, Charm creation, and generally entertaining you. We get anything there?
