It appears to be a simple side-quest. Easy xp and a chance to see how our people will work together. It could also be a way to begin the introduction of the BKs to the supernatural.

Of course, this means that in actuality there will be several dozen Abyssals, more nephwracks than you can count and Juggernaut.

Scouting the place out first before we move in force, then?
 
I decided to make a list of our current assets and links to their profiles (if I missed something, please point it out). This will hopefully make planning on how to use them in the Shadowlands, though not all of them (like the Black Knights or non-combat Exalted) will be directly useful. I'll try to throw some possible strategies on how to use them probably later tomorrow.

Coven Infernals
Lelouch vi Britannia (Fiend), Rakshata Chawla (Defiler), Kaguya Sumeragi (Malefactor), Akito Hyuga (Slayer), Milly Ashford (Scourge)
Non-Coven Infernals
Akio Murakami (Slayer), Nathan Coulter (Defiler), Yelena Ferapont (Malefactor), Nadir Yilmaz (Scourge)
Other supernatural personnel
C.C. (Code Bearer), Leila Malcal (Water Aspect DB), Dark Green Fangs (Anuhles), various other First Circle Demons
Mundane personnel
Black Knights (infantry, Knightmares, Guren), cultists (First Circle Demon summoning, occult knowledge, spies, essence battery recharging boost, etc.)
 
Why are we even considering this operation? There is nothing to be gained from it, and even if we suceed without any losses, the sudden disappearence of a shadowland will still tip off Britannians about a potent supernatural force operating under their nose.

We are not removing it right now. We will be gathering intelligence on what is going on there and possibly doing something else, like striking targets of opportunity. Ligier still wants those Deathknight samples of his, and weakening the forces of the Underworld here in any possible way is preferable to letting them run freely doing whatever they want.
