Green Sun, Black Shadows (CG/Exalted)

Yes, I realized that. The Tomoe family moved from New York (in the Britannian Homeland) to the British Isles (part of the E.U.) because Mr. Tomoe and likely Mami would inevitably be labeled as Numbers once Japan was invaded and getting the hell out of Britannia was the best way to avoid that. Since they were all already English speakers, the British Isles were the best fit among the EU countries. (I don't know if they're actually called the British Isle or something else in CG, but I figured they wouldn't be Great Britain or the United Kingdom anymore)
...Oh. Now things make sense to me. That is what I get from trying to advise people when I'm already half-asleep.

But Isla was really looking forward to meeting Zero. He was also a hero for Justice! And a magical boy!
Milly: Oh so many new costume and party ideas!:drevil:
Lelouch: Milly No.:anger:
Milly: Milly Yes.:ogles:
Kyubey /人 ‿‿ 人\: It's so good to meet you all, I've even spotted a good new candidate on campus. It's a young blind girl in a wheelchair. She will be a perfect match fo- 'GACK!'
Lelouch: Touch Nunnally and I will rend your soul and essence to pieces in such a manner that even the Yozi will cringe in horror!

Malfeas, Oramus, and TED... I would not put it past him to come up with something that actually could accomplish such.
Of course Kyubey would misunderstand the situation given the limited information and dig his own grave even harder.

Kyubey: Ah you intend to take the girl as a slave-concubine and wish her unspoiled, I understand. I can find you some similar maidens or ensure ones you desire end up in similar condition in repayment for my error, Great Fiend.
Milly: Wow, how could something so smart be that stupid?
Lelouch: (even deadpan tone).......I'm going to start hurting you now. I'm honestly not sure when I'm going to stop.

Oramus: "Aaaand, yet another level of lowness reached. Is this vengeance for taking Lelouch?"
TED: "Yes. Kinda. Part of it. I would have done it anyway. Need to feed the angst and all that."
Oramus: "Never said I am against it. Now let's wait and see her defy all of your expectations."
TED: "You will NOT win this."
Oramus: "Eheheheheh."

Cecelyne: "Are those two at it again? It's been since the War that they did that."
SWLiHN: "By the Shinning Answer, no. Why? Things turn horribly wrong when they compete against each other. Why they must do it again?"
Adorjan: "Kekekeke (For the lulz)!"
Malfeas: "Shut up Adorjan."
I know what's Oramus's first countermove.

Introduce her to his ponies.
It'd need to fit into the thematics of the Ebon Dragon.
I'm... not sure how you can fit in "compassion" into "cosmic force of opposition and darkness".
Not too hard.
Compassion opposes evils and injustice. The greatest evils are committed by those who are certain that they are doing the right thing. The world is miserable and ruled by selfinterest. To be that which the world is not, he must invert his stance.

Darkness shelters and hides. It protects from persecution and revenge. It is the power of Forgiveness of past sins.

It is the power of evil things done to evil people. Is there any less concetrated an evil?(At this point Eddy goes to beg SWLIHN for a Cosmic Transcendence installation)

Please, please no ponies. They're a contentious issue and I don't want any of that near here. Remember that ponies are the reason SB had to become so strict with their moderation (hah!)

We already had them. Oramus 1CDs.

They're pretty cool, and their progenitor would no doubt get along with her JUST FINE.

*ED weeps*

I don't particularly care either way.

Ok, got the MagicalGirl!Infernal done. The Ebon Dragon is pleased. And amused. And Oramus probably helped with this for shits and giggles.
+5 Xp for you: 3 as normal, plus one for the length, and plus one because it will allow me to make Lelouch suffers even more :V
EDIT: One more thing: What allows her to take human form again?
Loom-Snarling Deception.
Akio: You mean if I convince this Dragon-guy to teach me I can learn how to shape-shift and blind people by stamping on their feet? Sweet!
TED: "Are you willing to do horrible things to people in exchange for power?"
Akio: "Sure!"
TED: "Very well. Take my powers."
Speaking of learning charms, can other Fiends learn Oramus charms by having Lelouch teach them? Was there anything said on that?
Hypothetically? Yes. Would Lelouch teach them? Well, given how Oramus feels about having only one temple and one Champion, giving others access to his Charms may result in bad things happening. I don't think Lelouch would do it without his patron's permission.
More of less. Plus, Oramus may have done something impossible...
Though in this case I think the elder Solars would have likely squashed any attempt that sounded even slightly in any possible way that it would include forgiving the Yozis. ...And there is of course that GSPs are somewhat different case than Solars, especially with how they can innovate new Charms that have an effect on their patrons...

...By the Yozis. I think I'm suddenly more scared about Isla than fricking Slaanesh. Why do you do this, Enjou!? ...Oh wait, I already asked this the last time and you answered, nevermind.
TED: "Why did I suddenly feel like someone stepped on my non-existent grave?"
Seyrun: You don't need to. Stop I mean. That's just a First Circle after all. Although, it would leave no time at all for the important stuff.
Lelouch: So?
Seyrun: So Malfeas is full of methods to torture someone forever. Let's order one that is automatic.
Kyubey: Oh my...
Please, please no ponies. They're a contentious issue and I don't want any of that near here. Remember that ponies are the reason SB had to become so strict with their moderation (hah!)
Don't worry at most, they're gonna be mentioned once or twice.

Okay, properly back from time away. I've had some replies building up inside.

Yes, but these people don't have any loyalty to Britannia as a state.
IT seems thgis suggested noble would, unless I'm reading it wrong?
Which is a pretty bad idea, given the plan is basically "take over Japan, screw over Britannia and laugh as the Sidereals' patsy gets fucked" - wouldn't this guy try and reveal everything to Britannia?
Not really. In the very post you quoted, I mentioned people who would turn on their loyalties for personal gain. Mainly the point was that although the culmination of Lelouch's journey (and in part, the current reclamation plan) lies in the highest echelons of Britannian Society, due to him faking his death, there aren't any GSPs properly placed to really actively play a role in intrigue there. It's like starting a plan to raise Atlantis, but your only SCUBA diver is in a wheelchair. The suggested Britannian would likely owe fealty to Britannia (and would like have the 'Oathbound' flaw at a lower level eg. "Cannot be caught doing something that betrays Britannia"), but would be exactly the sort of schemy backstabber that you'd expect to find in the Britannian Royal Court.

Tfw you want to make a magical girl themed infernal despite not knowing a lick of Exalted.
Best Idea.
Name: Isla Proudfoot
Aliases: Magical Girl Radiant Shadow
Best execution.

I wonder how we'll handle Mami. As a Solar, she'd make a fantastic deniable asset and a way to infiltrate other Celestials' operations. Making an Akuma out of her would be a mistake, but we'll also have to be careful about how much Infernalism we expose her to. Fortunately, our enemies are not paragons of virtue, so all we'll need to do is expose some of their corruption and her natural "meguca-ness" will fill in the rest for us.
Hmm. Pairing her up with one of our more diplomatic Fiends would be an excellent choice. A Fiend and a Twilight can trade charms back and forth, and a silver-tongued one would mesh well with her worldview. Someone suggested pairing Isla up with the Emerald Strix, but I'm actually thinking of my other Infernal.

And in classic magical girl style, she promises to help the Yozi become true good guys again. Including the Ebon Dragon. Because the Ebon Dragon likes to betray himself and Mahou Shoujo is determined to be a great heroine that makes the world a better place. Childishly and with insane logic gymnastics!

'But Mahou Shoujo, he's a lying asshole!'

'It's going to be fine though. We just have to make him not a lying asshole and then everything will be much better!'
Later...

Isla: "You lied to me, Ebby."
TED: *is smug* "Yes, yes I did."
Isla: "But I'm not mad. I know you can't help it. It's what you are." *eyes burning with compassion and purpose*
TED: "Isla... why are you looking at me like that?"
Isla: "I'm going to fix you, Ebby."
TED: :o
Oramus: :lol:rofl::lol:rofl:

Even Later...

TED: "GAH! What is this horrible feeling!? It's... GAH! IT HURTS!"
Lelouch: "Did Isla succeed in her project to give you the Virtue of Compassion? It appears so. I believe what you're feeling right now is called 'guilt'."
TED: "Why did I suddenly feel like someone stepped on my non-existent grave?"
Shadow Begets Shadow / (or as TED calls it, 'Even Altruism is Betrayal')
Cost: (Varies)
Mins: Essence 4
Type: Simple
Keywords: Innovative
Duration: Instant
Prerequisite Charms:
Tales tell of an exceptionally kind-hearted Green Sun Princess who was deceived by The Ebon Dragon into supporting the reclamation. To his surprise, when the ugly truth about the Yozi came to light, her loyalty burned even stronger and she announced her intent to teach TED to be compassionate.

This charm costs the user 12 motes. Alternatively, the target of this charm can choose to pay 2wp, in which case the user pays nothing and receives 1 mote if they have space in their peripheral pool.

The target of this charm receives 3 additional dice to their next action (treated as Specialty dice) so long as it is towards something that both user and target share a negative intimacy for. If the user paid the mote cost of this charm, both gain a temporary Compassion Channel that lasts until the end of scene. This Compassion channel may be applied to an action applicable for the specialty dice granted by this charm. No more than 1 temporary Virtue Channels can be gained per scene.

It is said that when the Ebon Dragon heard of her creation, he scoffed and called her foolish for thinking he would ever choose to burden himself when another could readily pay the cost for him. The Infernal girl simply smiled, for she knew it was within the nature of the Ebon Dragon to betray even his own nature.

Punishment is in the Mind
Cost: 8m
Mins: Essence 3
Type: Simple
Keywords: Heretical, Sorcerous
Duration: Instant
Prerequisite Charms: Fealty-Acknowledging Audience, Shadow Spite Curse
Kyubey really should have known better than to make that comment about Nunnally in front of her brother. Mentioning that killing it was pointless because of the Kyubey hive mind was even less helpful.

This charm may be used on any target with a hive mind. The user may give a command to the target, and as long as that target is still alive, all members of that Hive Mind are compelled to obey as UMI. The Hive mind may allow individual members to resist at a cost of 1wp per individual, however any member of the hive mind who is resisting or unable to attempt to fulfill the command must also take 2 bashing damage.

Oh, and just wait until Isla learns about this Charm from the Book of Ten Thousand Scorpions:

Pneuma-Moulding Marvellous Muneration
Cost: — ;Mins: Essence 4;Type: Permanent
Keywords: Shaping
Duration: Permanent
Prerequisite Charms: Miracle Gift Mastery, Scoured Perfection of Form

All things come to Cecelyne, in time. Those who wander in her depths draw themselves in deeper with each gift they take. And those who ask for the wrong - or right - things, or who draw her attention, can never, ever escape, for she will give them immortality and potency beyond mortal might, all a mortal could ever wish for. And they will forever be hers, as she remoulds their hearts into silver glass. These demons are referred to as varazslany in certain Shogunate texts which talk of the blasphemous deals offered by the Anathema, and the need for an honourable soldier to be wary of even innocuous gifts; they are the holy warriors of Cecelyne, her missionary-champions. This Charm expands the scope of Verdant Emptiness Endowment, and allows the following option to be taken, either to grant the wishes of mortal, Enlightened Mortals, or other Primordial-created sentient races who ask for immortality or power, or as a task, which may be rejected normally with the usual consequences. The Infernal compresses the souls of the target, rendering them down into raw Essence before remaking them in the form of a wind-smoothed crystal about the size of a chicken's egg, which sits where their heart used to sit. This metamorphosis is tantamount to the death of the original, and so may not be undone as it would be akin to resurrection.

The body of the target remains as a Willpower 0 husk, akin to one of the dream-eaten. The egg-sized crystal is now the entire body and the repository of the mind of the target, who is now a special kind of First Circle Demon, which is naturally material, but a First Circle Demon in all other regards. The new varazslany sets their Essence to 4, and retains all their old Attributes and Abilities. They retain their old Intimacies and Motivation, but gain a new Intimacy of Reverence towards the Infernal which may not be removed by any means.

A varazslany created by this Charm gains the Charms Principle of Motion, Possession (usable only on Willpower 0 targets, but they may do so at a range of 2 yards rather than Touch, and they may possess their former body for no cost), and Measure the Wind. They have an innate ability to heal a single level of damage at a time in a body they possess, as a Miscellaneous action which costs 1m to repair a level of bashing damage, 3m for a level of lethal, and 10m, 1wp per level of aggravated or per Crippling injury. In addition, they gain a number of spirit Charms equal to (Infernal's Cult + their Highest Virtue + their Destiny), which should be thematically appropriate to their own personality fed through the lens of Cecelyne.

However, the varazslany is sessile and insensate when not using the Possession Charm on a Willpower 0 target (or any other appropirate Inhabiting Charm it learns later), which it does automatically on its former body upon its creation, with no apparent gap in continuity of self. A varazslany may always use such a Charm if a valid target comes within range as long as they can pay the activation cost and are not Inactive. When using such a Charm on a target, the varazslany physically replaces the heart (or equivalent), and is naturally material; a called shot at a -3 External penalty allows the demon to be damaged directly, rather than its host. The varazslany, as part of their existence, never count as being fully relaxed for the purposes of Essence respiration, and do not regain Willpower from rest. However, they regain one point of Willpower per scene they work towards an order given to them by their creator or an individual who knows the First Cecelyne Excellency. If reduced to 0wp, their Possession of a body automatically terminates, and they fall Inactive for a year and a day, regaining a single point of Willpower at the end of that time period.

Darn. That would have been cool. I am a tad bit tired, methinks. Still, a Friendly Solar means a Fiend can learn from them if need be. Very useful.

Oh, and just wait until Isla learns about this Charm from the Book of Ten Thousand Scorpions:

Fun fact, the literal Hungarian translation to of the word magical girl is varázslány.

Also I noticed a lot Hungarian words in relation to Yozi. Was it intentional from White Wolf?

THEY DIDN'T TELL THE SOLARS THAT THEIR POWERS WERE CURSED, THOUGH. AND THOSE POOR MEN AND WOMEN WENT CRAZY AS THE CURSE ATE AT THEM...

well this is interesting, we now have an infernal who for sure knows about the great curse, and is exactly the kind of person who would want to do something about it. I suspect the curses nature of hiding itself will make it much less likely she will be believed, but she's already convinced at least one solar about the existence of the great curse.

Rather than make up weird sounding names like Sheshima or Lokliholma or even "Wuxia" names like Five Descending Rains, they just picked up names from European countries. Adrian and Adorjan are actual names, for example.

Which sound funny/weird for me.

Calling a Primordial Adroján, is almost like calling him? Robert.(Adorján is a male name.)
BTW I find gendered pronouns a nuisance.:anger:

So, I have an idea for a Ta'akozokan Defiler. Basically, an inventor who figured out how to produce...something that a lot of people want cheaper, only to have one of his fellow researchers steal the credit for it and get away with it because they're richer than him. Now, he wants to be as rich as possible so no one can use wealth as a weapon against him again. Now, I realize that the idea needs works, so I would like to formally reserve the final Defiler and Ta'akozoka slots.

@Alexander89, is this alright with you?

I will note that the "friend stealing credit for making a better version of X" backstory is already present for Nathan, who is also a Defiler. Maybe have a competing company squash his idea with wealth instead - they use money to bribe politicians and run a smear campaign against him because they feel threatened that his product will steal their market share, or something?

You have a point. I really wouldn't want to repeat myself as well.

Very well, thank you for the idea Enjou. I'll use it. That seems like something that would trigger a desire for wealth, which would attract the money squid's attention.

Hmmm, I wonder if the Code Geass world has a version of Nikola Tesla? Nina is the local Einstein, both literally and figuratively. Maybe have a version of the Edison fucking over Tesla story.

Why Nikola Tesla was the greatest geek who ever lived - The Oatmeal

Yes, yes, you must make Infernal!Tesla! He was already a mad scientist!

Hmm...yes, I like it! An inventor who got shortchanged by a CEO who used his greater finances to smear the inventor while making lesser-quality knock-offs of his inventions, or had his ideas rejected because the CEO couldn't make money off of them. He eventually has enough, and comes to the idea that if he had enough money, he could produce his inventions himself, and tries to go it alone. He fails, and then a demon appears, making an offer he can't find it in him to refuse.

I think I'll make him native to either the Chinese Federation or the European Union. I think those countries would be sufficiently...not disdainful, but let's go with 'impatient'. They both have to go against two of the superpowers of the world, Brittania and the unchosen faction, so it's natural that they'd pay less attention to non-military technologies in favor of things that would give them an edge against Brittania. This, coupled with an CEO with no or few scruples, gives an explanation of why something like this could occur. Now, I wonder if there are any Merits that can increase Attributes like that Font of Compassion Merit Isla had.
