Green Sun, Black Shadows (CG/Exalted)

Second, actually. The last story post was the first meeting with the first of the new Peers to arrive, Nathan.
Ah, you're right.

And multiple Solars appearing in the MEF is interesting. We'll have to deal with them eventually, one way or another, but for now they're distant enough that they're Britannia's problem. My guess is that Schneizel will eventually be assigned to deal with them if Cornelia isn't able to attain victory.
Hell I'm perfectly happy letting the Solars be a distraction.
Sidereals almost have to focus more on them than on some random 'Zero' guy, which helps us out plenty as we're gathering Exalts in a single location to really take over.

I'm also pretty glad that Imaginary has some spies in the MEF, that should help keep track of what's happening over there.

Eh.
2nd edition really fucked over the Abyssals.
I don't think we would've had nearly so much fun with the monofocus on "doomdoomdoomDOOM" and all of that.
Sure we could. We would've just needed to find a way so we overthrow our bosses and then because the surpreme lord in charge of abyssals :p

Or someone else would come up with a hilarious idea we all would've joined up on as SV and SB tend to not follow along with destroying worlds.

"Only at the beginning. Convincing him wasn't easy, but he eventually grew intrigued by my proposal. The real problem was those members of the Council of Forty that needed to authorize the whole operation." She smiles. "So I had Akito-san put me in contact with the local cults, and used them to collect blackmail materials on those members. They folded on very quickly afterwards."

'Oh yes, she made for a very good ally.'
Yes Lelouch, Kaguya best waifu~

Question: Is it wrong to wonder what an Abyssal Lelouch would be like?

Never enough Kancolle fiction rearing it's head here, but maybe, instead of Killeverythingdur Abyssals...

Oh gods, why must my mind not cease coming up with Infernals I need to write!? I've got three ideas I've got to write now. Since all that are left are Scourges and Malefactors, and the patrons of those castes have a lot of them already, I want to do ones that are given their Urge by other Yozis. The ideas I have are for...

1. Adorjan Urge Malefactor. Expy. Will have Murder Is Meat and Hateful Wretched Noise. God-Blooded. Likes to laugh during battle! Total Blood Knight. I may also give her Eloquence In Unspoken Words due to that. Combat Exalt.
2. Cecelyne Urge Scourge. Expy with traumatic past. Gets rid of it with Freedom Lets Go. Is much happier that way. Combat Exalt.
3. Malfeas Urge Malefactor. Original character. Will have Impervious Primacy Mantle and the Magnanimous Warning Glyph stuff. Haughty and arrogant as hell! ...I'm thinking of giving her high Compassion to make her a tsundere for laughs. Might give her high Conviction too, for full tsundere madness. And low Valor, to make her a coward, in spite of her fearsome looking appearance. Her inner monologue is going to be hilarious. I think.

EDIT - Calling dibs on these slots.

Doesn't the swilin excellency involve the word brilliant? I see more "that's actually smart " moments in Akio's future.

Milly has to watch out for not only the Ninja Maid but also the eventual Ninja Spiders.
Having a Ninja Maid didn't help too much in canon. There are very few allies brave enough to protect someone against the horror that is Milly having fun. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if Milly somehow conned the spiders into sewing Lelouch a pretty silk dress.

.....Hmm.

"Lelouch. Hey, Lelouch!"

Lelouch blinked and looked up from his computer to see Milly looking down at him, with one of his Anuhles hanging onto her shoulder.
"What is it Milly? As you can see, I'm rather busy organising the logistics for the new Knightmares."

"Oh, that's fine! I just wanted to ask if I could borrow Borasu-kun here to help me prepare the costumes for the next theme party?"

"Sure. Is that all?" murmured Lelouch, his eyes already glancing back to the screen.

The Demonic Spider waved an arm around briefly. "Hang on, we were gonna ask about his costume!"

Milly casually stroked the agitated spider's leg. "Yes yes, I was just getting to that. Lelouch, you're happy to have a silk outfit for the party right? I'll handle the designs like usual."

Lelouch waved her off. "Sure, silk sounds great. Are we done now? I'm losing focus."

Milly nodded, and as the two of them wandered off, Lelouch could hear their faint discussion, apparently about clothing fashions.

"- Sorry, Borasu-kun, you just don't have a clear enough grasp of human culture. You'll just have to take my word for this. Everyone will love it."

I know right? Given that all the Fiend slots are already all taken, I'm officially calling dibs on a (TED-Patroned) Malefactor slot. I feel the story desperately needs an actual Britannian Noble GSP with their own agenda and existing loyalties to Britannia. The story would just be too unlikely without one. I'd do an omake for one now, but I'm already desperately trying to finish my omake for Reinart's trip to see the Lunars before I go on a similar trip of my own. If I wait until later to finish Reinart's omake, it wouldn't give a good set-up for his entry to the story.

....I really need to learn how to write faster.

I'm shipping Lelouch with Milly and possibly Kaguya, but that's about it.
Maybe CC, Kallen and Shirley can be added in, depending on how it goes later.

Eh, to be fair, 50 exaltations over the whole world.
And the Yozi don't exactly like Britannia.

That's actually a key point. The Yozi disagree with Britannia, not Britannians. Literally our very first two Infernals were Britannians. Moreover, as the examples of Lelouch and Karin show, the Yozi are ridiculously eager to snap up any Britannian Nobles who they can sink their hooks into. It is not even the teeniest, tiniest bit unlikely for them to find a relevant Noble who would willingly support the Yozi's agenda for the sake of personal gain, especially considering the nature of the den of vipers Emperor Charles cultivates around himself.
Britannia controls something like 1/3rd of the entire world (possibly more since it's bigger than Europe or China), and a very significant chunk of the population. Off the top of my head though, I can only think of 9 'Britannians' (4 or so Numbers counting Kaguya, 3 Britannian Citizens counting Milly but not Lelouch, and 2 Nobles counting Lelouch). The Yozi aren't going to just ignore the strongest and most powerful nation on the planet. Heck, gaining access to very influential/interesting individuals was the entire reason TED and Oramus fought over Lelouch in the first place.

....Also, on a personal level, I kind of want to create someone who acts as a foil to Lelouch, standing as an ally/rival/potential foe in the Britannian Court. It just wouldn't be Code Geass if every plot-relevant character weren't coincidentally connected to Lelouch already.

Off the top of my head, ie not going though the thread marks, we have more than that.
For numbers we have: Kaguya, Yuno, Maxwell, Charlie, Akio
For citizens we have: Milly and Ciera Mukade,
For nobles: Lelouch, Tarana Cheshire, Akipheese Fateburn, Karin (the heavy wind expy)

There are probably more but even as it stands that's 11 Brittanians, which given how large the empire is is probably more than pure population would assign.

Oh Lelouch, you poor, poor fool.

Enjou, frozenchicken: I don't mind if you really want to reserve those slots, but like I said to others I will give the slot to someone else if you take too long. It wouldn't be fair otherwise. This remind me: SerGregness, you reserved a Defiler and a Malefactor: how's it going?
