Green Sun, Black Shadows (CG/Exalted)

Ok then...

[X] In a decent apartment close to Ashford Academy. It will be useful to keep a safehouse and a place for other Infernals to stay that is close to your home.

[X] A Britannian Noble who is up to many illicit businesses, and is paying the police to look the other way. The security around his villa is heavy, but success would give you a huge publicity boost.

Alright, a safehouse near our location would be best, I think. This will mean we can reach any Infernals we've got training nearby in the event of an emergency, or general business, and is better than close to the Black Knights base since not all of them will be working with them.

Going after the noble because Lelouch will not settle for a lesser victory.

@Alexander89 - should we stunt here, or will we be doing that later? I do have ideas on how Lelouch would do this.

A Bargain, but for Who?
+6 Xp for you.

Ok, well, I'm pretty sure we should go against the noble. It's the hard option, but... come on, we're an Infernal Exalt and we've maxed out War! We can kick the crap out of his petty security force.
Stealth is also required.

@Alexander89 - what info does Lelouch have regarding the security at the villa?
Pretty standards as noble security goes...though, the demons sent to spy have reported there are demon wards around the most private area of the villa.

Lelouch Lamperouge, the second greatest glorious bastard to ever walk creation.
Who is very well on his way to become the first.

Doing that later. The next post will end with Lelouch deciding how to do the assault.

The next post is actually when the Pantheon Souls make their first appearances. As such I need you all to confirm which versions you want to be used.

We should keep him near so we can keep on eye on him.

Go big or go home.

Wards against Demons, or wards made by demons?

All of our souls are little girls! Mwuahahaha!

I like Enjou's version, for the record/informal vote.

Regarding the physical and mental maturity of the souls, I believe that it should depend on how much Lulu expresses the traits. For example, the soul created by My Dark Lady represents the part of lelouch that is cunning, and devious and enjoys plotting. These are all major parts of lelouch, and as such the soul should be more emotionally and mentally mature than a soul created by Sun-Heart Furnce, which would represent the Malfean aspects of lelouch- which are less important than EB's parts- and as such would be more immature than MDL's soul.

Regarding physical appearance, given the souls are metaphysical constructs, the physical maturity should represent the level of mental maturity. To go back to my previous examples, MDL's soul would be closer to Lelouch's age than the infantile SHFS's soul.

In consideration to their personalities, I'll brainstorm what qualities are likely to prove relevant for each soul.

The Dark Lady:

-Otherness (always being different to those around him, as he is keeping facts about himself hidden), enlightened self-interest (He's not above working with those he dislikes), warped magnanimity (see his use of the Black Knights), semblance of identity (without doubt), lies (Oh yeah), The Nemesis (He really hates Britannia, and it shows that when he lost everything in canon, he aimed for revenge), turns heroes into villains or reveals to a self-styled hero how his actions were actually villainous all along (Yeah, this is Lelouch all over, albeit inverted), subtlety (Yup. Ham excluded of course.)
-Becoming more beautiful in the dark, causing love and infatuation in others, suppressing temperance in others, has obedient Things Which Lurk in Shadows to always provide background music and can use them to manipulate imagery. Other traits become possible with the three unpurchased charms that branch off from this.
Description of Darkness-chan: Definitely female, and very beautiful. Helps others willingly, because she knows it will make others care for her more and sees how that benefits her. She is an expert manipulator, skilled at disguise, lying, commanding those who serve her, and using shadowy illusions to cloak herself. She always has background music. No seriously, that should be a thing. I'd suggest making it hammy, whilst still being subtle in all relevant ways. Soft piano music and wind instruments.
Can feel a cold rage against those who she feels have earned it, and is willing to make a villain of herself if it will lead to the failure of those she cannot tolerate.
She can always manage to make Burning Heart loosen up and play with Muse-chan.
She will be Lelouch's greatest ally when it comes to keeping her siblings in line and in manipulating others. Her illusions and minions might come in handy too.
As a reflection of Lelouch's massive crush on Erembour at the time of her creation, it is possible Darkness-Chan's intimacy may come in the form of a secret and subtle love for him. Alternatively, given this context and the charms she was born from, she may view Erembour and Lelouch as her mother and father. (Note that she may not see them in that order. After all, Erembour provided the 'inspiration' for her creation before departing, and Lelouch then carried her whilst she gestated).

....Pretty nice as far as TED-inspired souls go, but Lelouch seems to mesh with TED in all the right ways.

The Optimistic Muse

- alien and unknowable (see how he hides his true self away), Existing beyond reality he disregards natural order, adhering to older laws and enigmatic principles only he knows. He simultaneously defines and transcends all boundaries, he shatters expectations and ignores conventions (rather well describes Lelouch's personal ethics that deviate from what his culture and laws demand of him), possibility (Nobody can say Lelouch limits himself to what would be considered possible), wisdom (well, this one is arguable. It'll come with age though), defies all odds and finds solutions none thought possible (as I said earlier), delights in the discovery of new and exciting anomalies, the tang of mystery and the texture of uniqueness. (In canon, Lelouch took to Geass like a duck to water, and he's done well with his exaltation here), rebellion (do I even need to say?), seven (this isn't something Lelouch really embodies, but it's ambiguous enough and likely to come up for Muse-chan, so I'll include it), desperate faith, and he hides all doubts (Lelouch doesn't like to let others see him sweat).
-Being inspired by the impossible and the Wyld, making unique things, gaining derangements (but even each of these is unique), creating things and helping others to create, spreading her derangements as she goes, and as an Oramaic soul, she would likely have some odd quirks.
Description of Muse-chan: Probably female, definitely younger and more childish than her sisters. She has the personality of a creative young kid, prone to flights of fancy and whenever she gets creative and wants to play, she always comes up with weird and insane ways of viewing the world. (In keeping with her tendency to spread derangement) she always manages to get others to play along to her weird rules whenever they have fun with her. It is therefore fair to say she is quite charming in her own way, though others might turn down her offer to play if they don't like that particular game. Lelouch can expect a lot of invitations to tea parties that would make Lewis Carrol think twice (interestingly, because of the alternate history and the weirdness of Oramus, I expect Muse to make a lot of Alice in Wonderland references, and Lelouch and the others to not get them). Despite (or perhaps because of) her apparent youth, she is one of Lelouch's most optimistic and relentless souls. She never doubts or shows reservation and she comes up with solutions to any problem (even if they are absurd, weird or unlikely ones). She is the most likely to disobey Lelouch on principle, as she may come up with weird rules and moral precepts that others would be surprised by, or just rebel if she thinks Lelouch is being too pushy. She loves mysteries, odd or new things, and the Wyld. I imagine if summoned, she might prove capable of deliberately infecting others with Refrain-like symptoms as a prank or defence-mechanism.
She also eats ice-cream cones upside-down. Very carefully and with lack of concern for physics, that's how.
She will be Lelouch's greatest asset when he is faced with a problem he does not know how to overcome, or when he wants help thinking things through. Probably even when he doesn't want the help, but needs it anyway. Her intimacy towards him is likely to be attention-seeking.

Darkness-chan likely always indulges her games, except when she feels motivated to do otherwise, in which case she can easily resist Muse's puppy dog eyes. Muse will ask Darkness-chan for music, though her tastes are always weird and varying. Lelouch's Sun-Hearted soul is probably a bit more standoffish, but will likely indulge so long as the game doesn't seem beneath their dignity.

For the Muse of Unearthly Delights, I think drawing from Lelouch's strategic brilliance (ability to come up with original plans that shatters everyone's expectations) and competitiveness works. The resulting soul will be a bit odd, as befits the themes of Oramus. I think this one should be a child, because Lelouch can be a bit childish when he gets competitive - see his chess game with Schneizel. He totally didn't have to risk getting unmasked there, but he did. He could have taken Schneizel's king when he made an illegal move and gotten Suzaku out of it, but he didn't because his pride wouldn't allow him to win in such a manner. So, my proposed soul for Muse of Unearthly Delights is...

Shirou Expy!
It fits. Brilliant, competitive, and odd. She'd be emotionally immature, and would probably be a bit clingy with Lelouch, wanting to be the favorite child due to being competitive.

For Darkling Grace Complete, I have what I think would be a good look for her. She'd be based on Lelouch's flare for the dramatic, plotting, deceitfulness, and self-indulgence. This is a more adult aspect of Lelouch, so would look more mature.

Dead Master from Black Rock Shooter.
From that I think it's easy to make a personality befitting of both Lelouch and the Ebon Dragon's Excellency. She'd be more emotionally mature, but not beyond the maturity one might expect of a teenager. I would expect her to have a teasing attitude in some ways similar to Milly, even towards Lelouch himself because Lelouch would never hate her for it.

Now, I think all of Lelouch's souls might view him as their father. Lelouch puts a high value on family that acts like family where they actually care about one another (his sister, his mother, Euphemia, and even Sayoko as a recent addition) and his souls should reflect that. They might tease eachother or bicker on occasion but they would all truly care for one another and never get to the point of truly hating eachother. For example the competitive Muse soul would probably insist she's the big sister due to being the oldest (even if only by a few hours or even minutes) and the Grace soul would tease her for being a shorty, but on the other hand Grace would probably dearly love her older sister, play with her quite a bit, and put on shows with awesome shadow puppets or something to entertain her.

In regards to what the souls actually look like, my only thought was that MDL-san would look a bit like Cinder Fall from RWBY. With less fire.

-My Dark Lady
--I personally associate this with his Zero persona and costume. Being unique, yet anonymous, a magnetic, villainous presence. So take just that, a mature woman, larger than life, whose face and form remains hidden within mask and cape.

-Muse of Unearthly Delights
--This one is funny, because, consider who Lelouch would associate with bursts of activity, and inspiration and what inspires him? Someone innocent, inspiring, yet erratic and unpredictable....
---Take one Milly, age down, and combine with Kaguya and Nunnally. Aspects of each blended together?

Muse of Unearthly Delights
-Core Attribute and Skill: Intelligence and War, with a side of maybe Wits and Craft
-Good Traits From Lelouch: Brilliance, competitive drive, creativity
-Bad Traits From Lelouch: Childishly and ruthlessly competitive, apathetic and lazy towards things outside one's interests

Darkling Grace Complete
-Core Attribute and Skill: Manipulation and Performance, with a side of Appearance and Socialize
-Good Traits From Lelouch: A great way with words, passion, reading people, maybe also family oriented
-Bad Traits From Lelouch: A strong inclination towards deception, really able to hurt people with her words even without always meaning to but especially when pissed
This is all the posts related to the Two souls that we are about to get, for people who want to reference it. The personalties are at this point mostly complete, as none of the ones above disagree with each other on characteriation.

As such the biggest debate will be about pics. :p
Probably. I reserve the right to say I told you so if I am wrong

I also support a male Sun-Heart Furnace Soul. The others are pretty much decided, I think.

The Shiro and Dead Master suggestions that I made are what I want.

I'd prefer we get a Ligier and the other two be girls.

Ah-
Well consider this me talking more generally then.
Want a male sun-heart furnace soul.

We're not getting Sun-Heart Furnace Soul in the coming update - we haven't taken that Charm yet. We can discuss that soul more later on, this is just voicing support for on which suggestions you like for the other two souls which we will be getting.

I'm not so certain stealth would be required Alexander. Cutting off enemy communications and then storming their compound with no one outside of the compound knowing that anything is going on could all be war based rolling. No stealth rolls needed. Just need to cut their communication lines and makes sure we aren't interrupted by outside forces. Get some jamming set up, surround the compound, etc.

Holy crap I exited the tab before posting this. Thank you draft saving.

Personally, I think at least a few of our souls should look inhuman. Maybe our Sun Heart Furnace Soul when we get one, since as I recall we have him representing Lelouch's most monstrous traits.

Anyway, fearing the Nobility is for mortals, but fearing the Abyssal Exalted is for everybody.

That's likely to attract a lot of outside attention. Also, it gives the noble a chance to escape if he hears things going on early. The Demon Wards also indicate that we may be dealing with a Dragonblooded Exalt, or at the very least someone aware of the supernatural. We also don't necessarily have jamming equipment just yet. Also, stealth would be needed to get the communications cut off before we get cause a ruckus anyways.

'Oh, if only you knew.' You roll your eyes. "Sure. I joined Malfeas because Britannia is full of backstabbing, treacherous misers while in Hell, instead, I have my own personal palace and all the drugs and demon hookers I want."

"Unlimited drugs and hookers?! Why did you mention the best bits only now man?"
At least he has his priorities straight.

We didn't accept this deal to play it safe. Even mortal Zero would attack this target. The noble himself might be Dragonblooded, but there's no way that a significant number of DBs would be used for security when Britannia is embroiled in war.

We can use LSD (hah!) to impersonate a guard and investigate the grounds, possibly gain access to any sort of security room they have and set up some sabotage. A remote-controlled EMP or something of the sort to disable security the moment we begin our assault would be very useful. We could also attempt to drug the food and water, sabotage the armory/knightmares, etc. Basically, we should run a stealth-op before launching our primary attack. Then Lelouch and Milly should keep themselves free to engage any possible Dragonblooded or other exalts should they appear.
