crunch question, does the fact that we don't need to bind her make her easier to summon? I mean her greater self likes the cut of our jib, and we can probably pay her quite well.

Nope. Summoning a 3º Circle requires* Adamant circle sorcery, regardless of if you try to bound her or not.
*(Unless you find some way to exploit their escape clauses, that is)

huh, well in that case if we need a fortress designed we can probably just visit her in hell. assuming we survey the site beforehand it would only be a 10 day delay.
Infernal summoning is different than Solar summoning. It's faster and more versatile since we can summon TCDs (if we learn to) every month rather than waiting for Calibration, but we actually can't bind them.
If we plan on summoning demons of the second-circle or higher, it would be best to speak with them first and arrange it so that we're not taking them from important business. We're Peers, not masters.

I imagine that we'll acquire summoning before pantheon heresy. It's an incredible tool and we can use it to boost our forces trivially.

Er, no. Saphire circle sorcery requires E4. We will have a few souls by then. We will learn it more or less at the same time that our souls reach maturity. (Aka, at the same time that we learn Titanic Heart Overweening)

Though of the escape conditions...I like Ligier's
I think that explicitly goes around the restriction of the Excellency, so wouldn't work. It might work if it's a nickname or a title, but not as a completely different identity.

Ligier showing up matches certain Solar Exaltation conditions.
That would just lock us into a different name. Maybe make it a committed charm with a mote cost so that it can be deactivated to recover your given name?

thats not to unsurprising since he has a fair number of similarities with the unconquered sun. I would be very unsurprised if the original concept that went into invictus Sol's creation was something along the lines of "like malfeas , but not a dick".
Well, at the time he was Theion, not Malfeas. And it was the Ebon Dragon who made Sol to be the opposite of everything he is. Theion made the Daystar.
