Green Flame Rising (Exalted vs Dresden Files)

So, I wonder what Lore Molly is going to gain from this, especially since Iku-Turso has repeatedly said to be familiar to Molly and was knowledgeable enough of Molly's charm to counter-magic it.
We get lore when we eat BBEGs? I don't remember that.

[X] Yes, consume the spirit of Iku-Turso so that he may trouble you no more

You take a swing at the Queen, you better not miss. He was lucky last time we hadn't gotten our spirit-killer charm online. He doesn't get a third chance.

I just realized why we shouldn't have accepted the duel: if we'd let Titania freeze him instead we'd be exorcising him. Now we're killing at least one host DESPITE (implicitly) promising to save the hosts

He was an Uninvited Guest who burst in and started making comments that would immediately elicit a duel there was no promise to keep him alive at all implicit or explicit.

Titania is very emotional, she was afraid her subordinates would be killed and then we offered up our ability to do the exorcism harmlessly to assuage her fear that they might be killed
She is afraid the exorcism will hurt them... she is afraid it might kill them... Titania does not understand her sister at all, the thoughts chase each other though your head as you grasp the crux of the conflict. She does know about Halloween, all of it even that you can remove the interloper from him hosts, but she thinks Mab risked her daughter's life in allowing you to work the spell.

"Upon my name and honor, God as my witness, no harm shall come to those upon which this exorcism is wrought that even mortal elixirs cannot heal."

I'm not worried about Fae "the word not the spirit" agreements. I'm worried about Titania harboring a personal emotional grudge against us

Okay I get what you're getting at now. But even in that quote we said it was going to hurt them also we already possessed the ability to kill them if we were going to do that then she would have to stop us anyway so why would we make up a ruse about exorcism. There's a difference between emotional and irrational and she can be emotional to an irrational degree but this isn't that. She cares about them but not so much so that she was scared that we would just kill them flat out for no reason.

It has asked for mercy at any point I might be inclined to give it, but it didn't and has given every indication that it will attack us again in the future.

Why? Accounting for MiM and overtime essence restoration we are at full capacity even if we start exorcisms right now.

That ending was a bit anti-climatic, sadly.
I thought he'd put up more of a fight. Was expecting his bag of tricks to be deeper, if that makes sense.

It's become almost a pattern, where overconfident immortals come rolling in thinking they're hot stuff only to get clapped immediately once they get within sword-range of Molly.

I am unsure of how much deeper his bag of tricks could have you possibly gone. He starts with bringing trap water which is already like a great trick if we weren't an inferno who is specialized kind of in Magic as well as possessing boiling seamastery. He brings in semi-autonomous army it would have been brilliant if we couldn't just freeze them solid because he brought water and our hell forgive the word play is hellishly cold. Then he counter spells one of our charms that brought our armor value up high enough that it could contend with the power of a god would have been brilliant if it hadn't cost us somewhere between Jack and shit and at that point he's engaged in melee combat against an exalt that's essentially focused on it he's fallen into a blender that is on. Then his backup fails to help him like everything that could have gone wrong with this did essentially he needed to pick up better time like after we did the exorcisms or something would have been brilliant but you know ego of both Raksha and gods could never tolerate that never mind the fact that it could have been Nemesis urging him on to attack so soon.
