Molly is enough of a dork, and there are bound to enough Fey in the area with the requisite pop culture knowledge to understand, that her using a butchered Hannibal Lecter quote here wouldn't be too out of place.

Something like, "He would have paired well with some fava beans and a nice chianti. Oh well, maybe the next Old One that shows up for dinner..."

No. Too high of a chance that some Fae or another will take that seriously and respond with actual pairing suggestions for human flesh and be offended by our lack of actual culinary knowledge.

IE - We should not make a sentiavour joke around real sentiavours.

Screw this guy, dragons aren't the only ones who think people who bother them taste good with ketchup.

More practically it looks pretty confirmed that he cut a deal with nemesis.

In terms of hiding it, we deliberately flaunted the ability in front of the social manipulation vamps. There are things you can try to keep different groups less aware of than others, but in this context it's not going to make a difference.

The politics might be a problem, but I don't think they'll be an unsurmountable one, and this guy won't be able to cause us even more problems. Plus it's good long term.

I don't think the fae will seriously object to us having this ability, especially in the context of using it against their enemies.

So that was Nemesis's last gambit. He got more info on how dangerous Molly is from up close but I was expecting some kind of spite tactic from somewhere.

I just realized this fight was hilarious from the perspective of the fairies outside. This perceivably like Devil mortal woman mix thing gets in to a fight with a war god, that's talking all kind of shit calling her a coward, a thief and 18 seconds later the war God is fuckin dead having spent six of those seconds removing a protection the woman had just for her to immediately put it back up and gouge out his organs.

Just imagine what's going through the heads of those minor Sidhe nobles who prodded Molly for gossip yesterday as they come to the other side of a full on Krillin "I can taste that" moment.

Really though this is an interesting mixed bag for Titania.

We kind of tore up her lawn, but we did it in a way that got her out of a fight she didn't want without losing face. Moreover, she had her most notable retainers functionally hiding behind her. Which is always good for reminding them why you're in charge.

She's also getting a delousing for her people without needing them to die, and it's not like anyone else among the fey knows we looked into that entirely independent of her.

But damn if we didn't really tear up that lawn though, and this sort of chaos can be taken as a sign of weakness by some people. So that will be fun for them to deal with.

Think Mab and Titania still talk outside of work? Cause it seems like we might've managed to give them a sibling moment very similar to the one we gave Harry and Thomas earlier in the quest. :V

Closer to a full minute when you take into account all the dead moments and she is bleeding at the end, just you know... not a lot.

Funny thing is these are not CoD so they do not get the sense of 'propitiate yourself before the dark god' that Winter Fey or say vampires would get.

Oh okay that's cool. The not being creatures of darkness is why I said mixed thing because we don't exude glory and dark Majesty to them we just feel infernal. But yeah he comes in there talking all that smack just to get his shit rocked it's hilarious. Even those moments we were talking "these are the faces of those who have defied me before" "cool how about they freeze over and then I whoop your shit" I almost wish there was dialogue about him gloating about pulling down our protection just so the next round we pull it back up and then hit him again.

I'm a little surprised their day jobs don't require some sort of contact, but suppose that makes sense. They do have plenty of minions to work through if need be.
 
With how stunts work could you with the path of Hellfire catch lightning in your hands like a modified version of the fires weal spell obviously you need to make a Hellfire roll to throw it back or attack with the caught lightning but could you catch it in the first place?

Sorry if the question seems out of Focus for the thread but interactions like this are kind of why I'm here like how sorcery and excellencies and general magic use should interact with the exalted and the setting.

Yes, you can even parry bullets. If you give yourself
super-tough hands that won't be destroyed on contact with a sword or shotgun slug by using something like Invulnerable Skin of Bronze, you can block them too.

So it occurred to me that using path of Hellfire or Mana manipulation or things like that you could conceivably block non-solid and magical attacks using your hands.
