Green Flame Rising (Exalted vs Dresden Files)

The Infernal Charmset has no perma-death charms whatsoever, and this is clearly deliberate. It only has banishment charms, and until you get your own Hell those charms banish your enemies to a place where they're under the control of your enemies.

Infernals thematically aren't meant to be destroyers in ExWoD, they're corrupters. That's why they're incapable of permanently destroying things with their native charmset, but have lots of ways to capture or corrupt them or otherwise force them into service the meta level is that infernals don't get to permanently remove enemies from play. They have them turned into something worse, either personally or by handing them over to a Yama King to play with.

DP has partially changed this here by changing how MiM works, but it's not how ExWoD Infernals are meant to operate. They're not solars or abyssals.
The other reason for that is propably that the Infernals never had proper spirit-killers.
At most some stuff about destroying gods or demons, or putting them in a 10.000 year timeout, never the full Primordial-Murder stuff.

Because why would the Yozi ever give their minions that particular tool?
They were insane, but not that insane.

We don't need to spend anymore essence on this 'fight'. Our anima is already flaring. All we need to do is swing our very scary flaming sword at Enko such that she dodges or parrys which uses her action. Well our allies put her down with lethal rather than aggravated damage.

If this was a real fight she might try and soak it, but in this situation dodging our very scary sword is plenty of excuse and when we fight later using supernatural skill they will understand why dodging us might have taken everything she had.

[X] Agree to a mock battle before dawn which leaves Eiko 'unable' to aid the Will of Kakuri yet which leaves her in shape to recover rather than leaving her out in the sun or worse
-[x]Stunt: Molly lights her sword with radioactive green fire. "Dodging my sword will require your full attention. I suggest that you don't let your focus stray because this sword cuts more than just flesh.". As she speaks Molly waves the sword back and forth drawing attention to it's deadly radiance.

To be clear here, this is just agreeing to speak to her rep right ? Because I'd rather try killing them all here and now than let anyone examine the inner workings of an exaltation at length for nearly any reason.

The conversation is obtuse enough that if we want we can deny agreeing to anything. Also she is in no position to complain if that happens. Eiko is taking a bit of a leap of faith here.

How quickly do hungry dead heal anyway? Because even though we have decided not to pera kill her I see no reason not to mess her up sufficiently that she will not be a problem for days at least.

[x] No, it is not worth the risk of leaving such dangerous foes at your back, these akuma, like the others shall perish, unable to return to their master even in spirit

And while it isn't directly related to this vote, we really really shouldn't let the Akuma poke around our Exaltation.

Incidentaly I am fairly confident it wouldn't help much with redeeming Emma-O anyway. Molly's Exaltation is using its phenomenal cosmic powers to mimic the properties of some of Yomi Wan using powers configured to match the Yozis. It is not actually using the power of Kakuri and its duplication of it is probably based on rather different principles at a deep level.

I doubt it as well. This is mostly just about making this fight easier so we can recover quicker for the next one.

It's nice to know that there is a conspiracy, but these people are in it for selfish reasons, their plan wouldn't work due to the nature of our Exaltation, what they might find is too dangerous, and we're capable of working without them with a few Crown questions when we're strong enough.

Also, and more importantly to my decision, I've decided that Emma-O is not getting any servants back from this after he dared attack our people, and letting them go would crimp our message and image of invincibility. I would be willing to let them go if they had an actual workable plan, or were genuinely repentant or disloyal, but as it is this isn't enough.

We don't really need to let her examine our exaltation in order to help her redeem Emma-O. We have the Crown. We have photos of 12 of Emma-O's akumas, each of whom should be a valid focus for Emma-O, who has (parts of) their souls in thrall, which obviously is an arcane link between him and them. After the fight we'll likely have their bodies, as well as the body and possessions of the greater Akuma. We can ask a lot of questions. Questions that would be very useful for their working. Off the top of my head, we could learn, and tell them how (under what circumstances) Emma-O became a Yama King, how (by what means) he separated Jizo Bosatsu from himself, under what circumstances would he seek reunification with Jizo Bosatsu, how (by what means) such a reunification can be achieved, what are his remaining virtues, and who he has positive intimacies with. And a lot more.

Charm-wise, if we are going to be helping them... A Cold and Lonely World is bound to have an interesting effect on an akuma. Especially on a greater akuma. if we can hit a Yama King with it, that's a totally different story too. Golden Years Tarnished Black has a potential to go very bad, but might get Emma-O to let go of ainu in his mind. Black Mirror Incarnation to turn into Emma-O might also be useful. Dissonant Lies Made True would be damn useful in redeeming Emma-O if we ever get to talk to him (because you can't break out of it on your own, you need someone else try to convince you out of its effect). And, of course, there's VEE.

You know I actually agree. I will change my vote if someone comes up with a good stunt for this option.

I'd be hesitant to rely on mental attacks to mana Yama King, particularly a Yama King known to grant mental attacks to his servants.

It seems very unlikely that he wouldn't have high grade mental defences.

If we're talking about Crown questions on the lesser or greater akuma, I'd like to take how investments work, how the spiritual modifications made to the lesser akuma work, how the spiritual transformation to become a greater akuma is done, and how the treatments are performed.

Once we have a Hell I'd like to be able to replicate those processes.

Alright then, how about…

-[x][STUNT] That's it, that's all the information you're getting out of her, you realize, and that only leaves you with a decision to make. But while the show she's proposing would benefit her, it wouldn't benefit you to give any impression that victory against you is possible, and you don't want her master to get any ideas about trying this again. If she was actually repentant rather than greedy, or she had a workable plan, that would be one thing, but as it is… "sleep isn't for me, today," you say aloud as you draw your sword, "and you'll be beyond even that, when this ends. You should have taken your freedom when it was offered to you." A flare of anima and raised hellfire sword sets off the fire sprinklers before you charge into battle, Clippy having already sent the call to your reinforcements.
-[x] use Melee Excellency and VLE

I know we have a bottle of water, but this seemed like a more dramatically appropriate way to set off BSM.

Right thing done for selfish reasons is still the right thing. If we only helped people do the good things if they had "proper" motivations or well-established plans... Well, we'd have far less opportunities to better the world.

We let rampires go. We recruited the ghouls. We work with Gard, who is a mercenary working for Marcone.
