Tfw someone goes to basically paradise but they're a speedrunner so they find a corner to wedge themselves into to clip through and back into the real world or just backwards long jump to the exit.
Yes, the Primordials are long firgotten and our Charms are inspired by the Hells of WoD.So I know Exalted and I know very little of Dresden, but it also sounds like we're using a WoD rewrite for Exalted? I don't recognize the Primordials being used for the Charms even if it looks like they're just reskins of the usual ones.
ExWod doc is linked in one of the very early threadmarks during Chargen. So I know Exalted and I know very little of Dresden, but it also sounds like we're using a WoD rewrite for Exalted? Also the "Here Be Dragons" mention got a chuckle out of me. That's how the edge of ancient ocean/sea maps were marked sometimes to denote there was only unknown danger past that point.
Also any plans to turn into a new Primordial? The "Paradise Lost" discussion going on right now sounds like it would be a first step towards that tbh, though I always loved the Keris Games one where the "1st Circle" demons were born inside their soul-scape as they grew in power.
Its the sort of thing we wouldn't spring on anyone until we actually got our ducks in the row in any case. And we'd be springing it on Harry before anyone else since he could very easily tell us no.Actually Michael would believe you as long as you are not lying, he has a very good sense for those things. Charity on the other hand...
Yeah, probably best not to suggest living with Dresden for a while... a considerable while.
I'm just hoping we keep the sense not to go for things that only cause awkward situations and hurt feelings. It would be one thing to go for extreme measures but it is a very different thing to go for extreme measures that never had a chance of panning out. Molly tended to just flail around when she didn't have something concrete in front of her and things kept getting broken.Yeah that was the product of as far more adrift Molly Carpenter. While this Molly still has a crush she is not about to do something that extreme about it.
while I can understand that, I'm of the mind that a Hell the size of New York City or Shanghai is still plenty big, especially since I feel that a City the Size of Finland is still, for the person on the ground, City Sized .I really like the city hell but it is a bit small, can we make it larger, maybe drop the space thing or something. Make it at least country sized.
Usually I'd agree but I really don't know. The Kingdom is an entire realm and more importantly on the inside of our soul iirc.Plus, I don't think there's anything stopping Molly from doing a Big Ritual later to Make Sheol Bigger. She's got all that Occult and the power of An Exaltation after all.
This is the only questionable bit. Wasn't the eternity/immortality option from this?
Hmm, I kinda forgot about that. The Immortality option costs One PointThis is the only questionable bit. Wasn't the eternity/immortality option from this?
If I'm being honest I don't think it could be a paradise with or without because shitty people do exist at least realistically however from a fantasy standpoint it could probably be a paradise with or without because some cultures do have celebrations so with or without it could workI am not sure it would last as a Paradise without it. Otherwise, neat.
It could be social structure Chaos alongside Advanced tech/magic and immortality?Hmm, I kinda forgot about that. The Immortality option costs One Point
Let's see here, the Options that could grant One Point are:
-Resistance Movement (1) Minority of the Realm that probably thinks that we shouldn't be opening Paradise so freely to the outside world.
-Deadly Flora (1) Says on the tin. The Floras within will probably kill you, most of the time. Not exactly the sort you would expect from the realm of eternal succour.
Our kingdom is Vast and he doesn't specify the safe point being the size of a city just that it's smaller compared to the environmental dangers.I feel like people being immortal with only a single habitable city is just asking for overpopulation
Barbarian hordes except instead of fighting they play Rock Paper ScissorsIt could be social structure Chaos alongside Advanced tech/magic and immortality?
I like'd that, and it wouldn't be much of a challenge, just that no one really cares about other people (after all, "heaven for one is hell for another" and "hell is other people") other than Molly, and as long as she orders them they can work together if they are totally loyal. It could be social structure Chaos alongside Advanced tech/magic and immortality?
As similar to original Eden, there is no need for law or philosophy, everything is provided and only personal relationd loyalties matter, no institutions.
Advanced can just be that individuals can pass along stuff if they want and they had virtual eternity but no structure, or the realm provides. Natural machines and occult tomes just because.
Is this possible?
Edit: The challenge would be personally organizing a society just from personal loyalty.
Well, not a City per see. It could be a ring. The Outer Ring is filled with multitudes of bad climates, dangerous terrain and life-threatening perils. Whereas the Inner Ring consists of fields of wheats and barleys, garden of flowers, some Cities or Communities scattered about. We picked Vast, we have rooms to spare.I feel like people being immortal with only a single habitable city is just asking for overpopulation
Well, if your every wants are fulfilled, I guess people would not need to do actual work or thought in their daily lives. Friendship and companionship to those that actually matter in your daily life, instead of unified, structured body. A structure more akin to clans, where they are more comfortable to those they actually know, rather than forced to work with strangers. It could be social structure Chaos alongside Advanced tech/magic and immortality?

From what I understand a Infernal realm, its very soul, is a place of refuge and solace for its absolute king and a hell for everyone else, so while I like the idea of Sheol, if this is the intention was created, I cannot support he.Sheol has awaited The Infernal Bürgermeisterin for untold eons. They are loyal and willing to listen, even obey, but Molly must manage their concerns and interests carefully lest they turn against her. This Place is Hers, the Good Parts of her and The Bad. This Hell of Molly's doesn't start as a Paradise, but I firmly believe with work, it can become one. A Mirror of her intent in the Mundane, I like to think.
It'll be hard work, but interesting, meaningful work. Something to wile away the decades, at least.
That's rightI get the idea, but I don't really...like it.
I think that the ideal is that the Kingdom of an Infernal is the ideal world for the Infernal. The Hell part is what it is like to other people.
The truth that someone's perfect ideal, is at least someone else's absolute hell, if taken to absolute and with absolute power.
It's also the silver lining that so many Novels, RPGs and media used in order to depict a 'catch' to a supposed Eden.Honestly the resistance movement makes it seem more realistic, more alive
