[X] [Sakura]
I'm curious what Sakura is thinking after such a night and finding her love's house obliterated.
But I'm far more curious about why she summoned Mata Hari. Their lifes are loosly similar if you think hard on it, but no more than that.
[X] [Taiga]

Big Sis Taiga just went"f***you Shirou, I'm taking charge!" I really want to see what she is thinking, considering the massive clusterfuck *heh* that were the last 12 hours.
[X] [The Man]

Congratulations Shirou! In 2 days you got Kiritsugu's house destroyed! I don't think the house ever got so damaged in canon.
And there is so much for EMIYA to think about:
Taiga, his big sister who he never truly appreciated in life, is his Master.
Sakura is here.
There is no Baeber to be found, except a girl who looks exactly like her but everything else is extremly different.

Depending on how much he remembers I have a feeling Annatar is definitely wondering what the hell is wrong with this world and what he's doing about it.

Here's a giant pile of wild guesses about what old Annatar has been up to most of which are probably wrong at some level.

He's summoned by a mortal who wants something - good start! always room to move up and mortals are always gonna go for power. (this is the only thing I'm sure about).

It's a new world so things are looking good. More stuff to exploit new magic to explore which is even better. But mystery exists so the power fades - that sucks but nothing he hasn't dealt with before (like seriously Tolkien did the whole magic fading thing first)

He learns more about the world, digs deeper, makes more allies - magecraft society is easy to navigate (seriously putting motherfucking Sauron into a society like the clocktower must have basically been like putting an old and especially crafty wolf in a den full of backstabbing chihuahuas. Guy's in his element.

Then he digs deeper and learns about how the world really works - the fundamentals of magecraft and the stronger powers running around, secrets and chaos at every corner. The world is on the brink of destruction basically all the time. This is unacceptable and must be stopped. So he plans - he was originally summoned in a holy grail war and that represents a powerful source of magic. Enough to something truly great and terrible into motion. But the world responds.

The current clusterfuck is a result of Annatar trying to take over the world (he's the og dark lord what do you expect) in a very real sense and the world responding to that threat. Also whatever the hell allowed Annatar to be summoned in the first place is also running around adding to the problem.

Very nice writeup!

Frankly I expected people to be focused on the Mordred titties. Love the speculation going on.

EMYIA - Archer - Master: Tagia*
Mata Hari - Assassin - Master: Sakura*

I'm actually fairly certain that's going to be the other way around.
EMIYA strikes me as just about the only Servant who would be summoned by Sakura and go "Oh, Sakura.... KILL THE OTHERS BEFORE THEY CAN BIND ME!"
Like, I suspect it was an instant strike kind of situation.
Not to mention, the home is on fire and while a Mata Hari vs Zouken fight could have damaged the house like that, it strikes me more as EMIYA, Mr. "I'll fill this sword with magic and use it as a explosive arrow".
Also, Emiya was the one holding Sakura when she fainted, which is hardly definitive considering it's Sakura, but I suspect Mata would have had more of an issue with it if Sakura was her master.

So, thoughts on the current situation?

so something is going on with the grail given we have...Sauron as a summon...legitimately and not as a gag. Cu is fucking all... monstery... Taiga summoned a servent... and Rin has Artoria.

Thats the cause... reality cannot allow Rin's plans to work :p.

My issue with in depth analysis is I've only played the FSN visual novel and seen fate zero...and I've read the LOTR main trilogy but thats all.

Frankly I expected people to be focused on the Mordred titties. Love the speculation going on

no no...we focus on Medea's titties...and Mordred's abs... and Medusa's legs.... Taiga's ass :p

Caster stares at you, her mouth opening and closing for several moments. Before her hand moved to rub at her forehead. She lets out a long, slow breath, shaking her head from side to side. "Master, they are all our enemies."

"They aren't my enemy unless they hurt me or other people," you retort. "And if she wanted to eliminate me from the war she easily could have."

Don't you get it Caster? I have to save everyone. And you can't save them if you assume they're your enemy.

You lean closer, looking her over as the woman stiffens. Her robes were cut in places, revealing scratches. But there was no blood, or indeed, anything resembling injuries. "That's good." You say with a relieved sigh.

Yes Shirou, good, good, keep showing concern for Medea, yesss.

Then you look back towards Caster. "I'm going to need spare lumber from the shed to patch up the hole, you can use my room for the time being. I'll roll out a futon in the attic."

Caster's mouth opens slightly like she wants to say something, then closes it and nods.

Yes Shirou, good, good, keep making sacrifices for Medea, yesss.

The armored woman stops at the corner. Looking back towards you with the sound of shifting metal. Her green eyes stare through your own, and she squints at you for a bit, as if trying to remember. Then she speaks, very slowly, and very stilted. "Ber…serker." Then, like that somehow answered everything, she loses the squint, staring past you for a moment before turning back and wandering off down the hall again.

Mordred's doing great everyone!

Sakura for her part looks to have fainted, her clothing singed and bloody. She was held in the arms of a man a good head or two taller than you, with deeply tanned skin and white hair. He was bedecked in armor.

Well, I see EMIYA happened to the Matou household.

Taiga for her part was running towards you, tears of worry in her eyes. She was being chased after by a woman in… you could charitably call it clothing. With long brown hair and blue eyes. Silks trailing behind her.

Ah yes, Mata Hari, with her sideways version of Presence Concealment:

Espionage: A++ This skill does not conceal her presence, but masks her presence so no one will feel like she's an enemy. At a rank of A++, unless her own allies expose her, it's impossible to realize that she's the enemy.

Taiga picks up the handset then looks towards you once more, tears at the edge of her eyes. "Shirou, I don't know fully what's going on here, but whatever it is it is dangerous. Sakura's home burned down and I came here to find you covered in blood and this place trashed. Kiritsugu asked you to look after the house, but he asked me to look after you."

Shirou, don't you understand, to save Taiga, you must allow Taiga to save you.

Then she rapidly dials a number and places the handset against her ear. "Grandfather? I need your help."

And oh boy, here come resources. I'm sure Raiga won't pull all the Yakuza he can into dealing with a threat to both his granddaughter and his granddaughter's future husband adopted brother.

We should clearly spend more time with Medea, and figure out who this strange person is hanging out with our big sister shaped (vaguely) character.

let's see Taiga's pov on all the shit that's been going on yakuza princess to master in one night and not knowing magic exists till now must be a mind fuck. Sakura's may give us confirmation on old man worms death, fingers crossed and berserker on the off chance it's who we talk to/talks to us and not a pov shift and she seems like she could use some company after the whole hole business or gives us the chance to use a command seal to lower the madness enchantment. That's a thing right or is that something I read in a fic?

Yay, Mo-chan!

The problem with the idea that the Marisbury chapters show the events of Fate/Zero, is that the ages of the.... team that Annatar is assembling then don't make any sense. Ophelia would be far too young during Fate/Zero.
