The Wand is connected to Ayako's mind. Forget the high jump. The high jump is Shirou being admirably stubborn. Archery is Shirou being a ruggedly handsome zen master of the bow, while also putting in time as Ayako's super reliable and helpful Kohai. The Wand has seen Shirou at his cutest through Ayako's memories.
Fortunately, every version of Shirou is equally driven to be a hero, so there's absolutely no way it would affect him poorly. And even if it does, better that Shirou suffer unimaginably in the name of saving someone else, right?

Ayako's got enough fight in her to help Shirou shake it off.

Alas, Magical Neko Grilfriend Ayako, you are mind controlling original flavor Ayako, and that just won't do.

The really unfortunate thing is that Ayako should absolutely hang on to Ruby after this. This is bad, but it's not even in the top 100 of terrible things that could happen to her friends, her family, or herself in this war.

Seals is a likely to work way out but itll cause a fight that may cause deaths. Also its a limited resource we domt want to spemd on every situation.

No way Shirou has the ability to get the wand. Unless she can fight it for long enough for him to grab it but we have no reason to think that she'll fight it at that moment. Nor Shiro will be able to get it and suffer no consequences.

Edit: Ayako has magic circuits right? The amount of mana Ruby can output is limited by hee user.

Those two don't count. Ango is simulated Emiya and Alter was messed up by that priest woman.

If I had to choose between destroying the wand and the one ring I'd choose the wand.

Because one is a horrible brainwashing artifact with creepy tastes that gives you superpowers and the other is the One Ring. Eeeesh.

Honestly, we're at.....2 Seals left for Medea? and 1 for Mordred after disabling BAZAKA MODE (temporarily, and boy am I never going to be ready for it to kick in again at full force). Any option that isn't burn a Seal is fine by me.

We actually have 3 Seals for Medea, we haven't used them for anything. And somewhat-disabling Bazaka for a while was not using the Seal, it was using Shirou's magic to clear Mordred's head, therefore, it effectivebly increases Mordred's mana cost. So we hace 2 Seals with Mordred.

It seems pretty clearly worded to indicate that we used up a second Seal, between Medea saying "the Seal will do the rest", the seal flashing, feeling that fading sensation, etc.
