This is kinda why I'm okay with this kidnapping. Because sure, Ayako is extremely mentality ill at present, but she's not planning anything... knowingly malicious to Shirou or his friends. I do wonder about her brother and parents though, and if she's 'protecting' them by putting them into a kind of magical stasis or bubble this is probably the most direct way to find out about that. Plus Mordred and Medea will be in hot pursuit anyway, so we should be seeing them soon anyway.A manic look was on Ayako's face. Her eyes were wide, crazed. Then she grabbed the front of your shirt and yanked you forwards. "Magical Neko Ayako Ruby is here to save you!"

You briefly register Medea finally reacting, her staff moving to stop… whatever it was that was happening. But before that could happen Ayako was already moving. You were held in her arms, cradled like a western bride as she sprinted out of the mansion with a burst of speed that nearly, but not quite, put Illya's servant to shame.
"I can finally protect you!" she shouts, a long cat tail emerging from underneath her skirt to wrap around your legs.
It also fit the insanity.Rin and Luvia become cat and dog girls respectively as part of their transformations but Illya and Miyu don't get any weird animal attachments so given how much independent discretion the kaleidosticks have I've always assumed it's something they're specifically choosing to do to older girls that use them (perhaps on the principle that highschoolers are a little outside the traditional magical girl age range and need to be made cuter)

Truthfully, I am choosing this because I am worried Shirou is going to fall off a skyscraper or something if we try to struggle. If someone can make a compelling argument that he'll be fine I'll probably change my vote.
It's entirely because of the fact that the nearby wall exploded.
Ayako wearing a pink dress with many white frills, holding what appeared to be a toy magical stick you'd find at a cheap costume store, and… twitching cat ears on her head?
You were held in her arms, cradled like a western bride as she sprinted out of the mansion with a burst of speed that nearly, but not quite, put Illya's servant to shame.
She's not moving nearly as fast as Rider. I made that clear in the chapter.[X] [See where this is going]
Every time shirou gains a new "Protector" something gets broken. It's just the effect Shirou has on women.
For those thinking of escaping. Consider this equation. Flying at speeds faster than rider moves + struggle loose of the arms of the one doing the flying = Shirou goes splat.
I took "nearly puts rider to shame" as "as fast as rider" since putting her speed too shame would be going faster than her. She's not moving nearly as fast as Rider. I made that clear in the chapter.
And Shirou brings out the best in women.
Ah fair. She is going stupid fast regardless. The kaleidostick is nice.I took "nearly puts rider to shame" as "as fast as rider" since putting her speed too shame would be going faster than her.
He sure does.
Classic funky singularity! We can't get in contact with Chaldea at the moment, likely because today is a day that ends in 'y'.
Because I'm keeping a sharp eye on "how far into the story is Clusterfuck Guda", I don't think this is an important detail. And, if you don't mind OP, I think it might be a small canon error--the briefcase is the Spirit Origin? Saint Graph? archive that allows Guda to summon the real-deal servants in the field. I think it was in stated either....iirc in either the Shimousa or Salem mangas, or in Avalaon le fae, that Guda has become strong enough with shadow servants to the point where it's just natural magic for them.I have access to the shadow summon system at least now, more effectively anyway.
THIS, however, could be a clue. While Guda could very well have summoned Reines prior to the event, the Lady Reines event required LB3 completion. So there may be a hint that she got past Yu-senpai's LB as well.
I just like the briefcase. It's classy.Classic funky singularity!

Readers: Truly, the Author Is a Genius. Everything they write show hints of how interconnected this Is with that, and the lengths they go to expand the Lore without saying It outright, and...
