[X] Stay here for now, rest up, heal and meditate while Sparks finds a way to trick the dog digimon into being stored. Pit… will have to succeed or lose on his own accord.

We're kind of running on fumes here.

The momentary contact sends a burst of electricity straight into your brother's frame, momentarily paralyzing him and allowing for an uncontested lunges towards your brother's head-
Lunge.
Aegiochusmon flinches back as the fire's of wrath latch onto his skin, uttering a grunt of pain before he pulses with power to expel the cloying power of anger.
Fires.
Fortunately as the tip of Thresh's pendulum blade erupts from Aegicohusmon's belly, you realize that it won't come to that.
Aegiochusmon.
The Godling yowls in agony, and immediately stabs the offending blade with his own, shocking Thresh a mere moment before his jaws would have closed around Aegiochumon's head.
Aegiochusmon.
A canine shining white with energy pierces between the invaders neck and shoulder, and digs into his spine..
Invader's
Aegiochumson's strained voice erupts from the dust, blowing the cloud of dirt away to reveal his barely standing form.
Aegiochusmon.
You grunt, narrowing your eyes at the Wisemon as a very charred Thresh crawls out from his whole.
Hole.
"... I probably deserved that."
Not colored in Sparks orange while the first " was.
They're outnumbered, and only the Asuramon's sudden boost of power has kept Sinduramon's flickering aura from extinguished.
From being extinguished.

Gonna go for resting up, hopefully Pit can pull if off.

Hmmmm on one hand we did swear an oath with Sparks to help Pit and Beat out when it was needed.

On the other hand we are pretty badly beaten and have another mission on hand.

Not sure if this counts. If it does then that just means with the resting option we've got to go win the fight for them should he be the one who loses. So long as no one affiliated with the gloaming win I think that oath will be okay.

Depends on how strictly Verge takes said oath more than anything... though I will note that even if we can safely say he won't be killed we are just letting him be outnumbered and put into a hard fight.

Really this seems most like a priorities vote for me.... ie the mission vs the oath, though not in a 'this breaks the oath' kind of way.... just that we are willing to make a bit more secondary in things.

Eh we're in a competition which is also against him, I don't think anyone is expecting Verg follow through that oath on a competition like this when their lives aren't in danger. Also it's a matter of me just not trusting his team cause that prick he's teaming up with will immediately turn on us after the fight should we even make it thorough the first one ( also thinking Pit will also join in to take down the clear threat to his victory).

Verge's Oath of friendship is a valid point, but as others said, this is a competition. I would say the agreement not to fight Host forces unless only they are left is more than enough to satisfy that Oath.
Not to mention that Verge is running on fumes and will need a break.

[X] Leave Thresh here to *guard* them and go assist Pit. A healing spell should be enough to reattach your arms, and with the help of your friends defeating the Gloaming shouldn't take too long.

Everybody seems to forget the Gloaming are still the Bad guys, and yes we did make an oath to our friend, I'd rather we keep it

So did Verg get any gains from fighting this guy? Like maybe a small amount of general fight experience or something.

I don't think anyone has forgotten they are on the gloaming side, it's just people would rather rest and recharge a bit before you know going to fight someone who is most probably one of the great angels reincarnate who is way above us in terms of power and then possibly having to fight a deva and the demon lord of wrath reincarnate.

On the matter of the oath I don't think this is within the spirit of the oath when it was made. We made an oath to help them when in time of need not when they're about to lose a competition when they're competing against us. There is also the matter of we really didn't get help from them when we had to run form the giant chicken so its clear that not helping in this competition doesn't break the oath between us.

You in turn seem to have forgotten that this particular Gloaming team mainly consists of people Verge met before and that we know strive to make the Server a better place (or at least, their leader does). The token good teammates for the Gloaming, if you want.

Regarding the oath, I point to the post above and the arguments a few other posters made in that regard.

[X] Tell Thresh to guard the mutt and it's master while Sparks tries to figure out how to knock it out. Take Schwartz and heal on the way to the conflict between Pit and the Gloaming. Intervene and ask them which is more important. Their damned egos, or wiping out the monster that allowed thousands of innocent mon to suffer and die for sport. You thought that they were both going to be better than what came before. Now's the time to put words into deed.

Not gonna lie I thought that we we're already going to do it after we won. I figured after we won this little fight the tyrant was going to stand in the centre where a lot of the buildings are rigged to explode. Either have us or the Host win the tournament, have the guy make official and then detonate the explosive leaving only the winning faction with control over the army cause their old ruler is dead now.

You know I didn't make this vote right?

"I refuse to be defeated by the likes of you!" He declares, limping forward and hitting your brother with a second blast, burying him even deeper. "I am Olympus' heir! The next Jupitermon! And this backwater's saviour from the infection! I-"

"I am a god you cretins!" Sparks' joins in, teleporting right beside the beastmon, his right thumb and forefinger together in a familiar gesture.

"-I am a god you cretins!" He turns to your closest friend in shock, eyes going roughly the size of plates as a dozen balls of azure flame surround him. "Wha-"

*Snap*

That
is when he explodes.

Killer Queen and Joseph

Oh you spoil us Drexal

Ima be honest, does "Winning" the competition even matter to us, at this point? We're pretty set on killing Jabba the Tyrannomon for slaughtering a bunch of innocent mons, are we not? Don't feel like winning a competition is a very high priority when we want to kill it's organizer.

In-Character? Not much, Verge did not really consider it a priority.

Personally? Yes. I want those hundred thousand Credits we can get from the bet on the Bulwark team's victory.

To Verg it's not a super big thing ( although he would probably like to win the fight themselves). It would probably also help our group out more if we win to get more direct control over the army then having to hope Leprodmon can try and manipulate the Host into doing what he wants.

The money would be nice cause I want to see what Drexel has got in store for us, we're apparently going to be seeing more of a use for money then gifts soon. If it doesn't interest us then it an go into the paying of Augar fund.

Plus I'm paranoid the moment we leave our group to go help all hell will break loose over here. I'm not leaving until I see Sparks book both of these guys.
