the thin jointthe thing joint attaching it to his torso is a clear weakness.
Not fighting with everything you have for something important is stupid, pride or not. But I guess winning here was not important? It wasn't the logical thing to do, that much is true. Choosing martial arts was a matter of pride for Verge.
If you did it didn't show up in the vote count I just went back and checked....I guess that the way the vote went, and I can't remember if I voted or not, but I feel not using magic wasn't smart.
Not really I just don't want it to end up a habit. Not fighting with everything you have for something important is stupid, pride or not. But I guess winning here was not important?
The stakes here weren't exactly life-threatening.Not fighting with everything you have for something important is stupid, pride or not. But I guess winning here was not important?
Part of me fears this was or only real chance to beat him. Verg has multiple ways to grow but it take more time to raise them them where as with Thresh is more limited but that allows him to focus down on it and go faster then Verg. Whilst Verg is studying a new spell or fighting techniques Thresh is gonna be more focused on general fighting experience or his raw stats which will make the gap even larger.I don't like the defeat, but I do appreciate that this was a better choice long term, now Thresh is inviting us to use magic and a better choose short term, because both of us can fight and Verge can set up a healing field.
Hehe.Surely our Bro can hold off for 2.5 seconds. He's tough enough....and it's totally not payback for him being a twerp...not at all.
Some great extrapolation there Karagus! Though a few things to mention. Verge has gotten a fair amount of formal training later on in life thanks to the Mayor, and done a TON of sparring. Just recently he stopped the fight with Fonte before it could escelate further. But Verge took a lot more emotion into this fight, and he got *deeper* into the duel than even Thresh.Great music, great fight scene, but what really struck me is how Thresh almost seemed to treat this as more of a spar than Verge did. Thresh called the match when he thought he had won, whereas Verge was preparing to upend the situation and seemingly go to the proverbial knife. And it makes sense, Thresh was groomed by and sparred with the Count, whereas Verge was the constant underdog and had to prove his worth before Scratch would even bother to train him. Thresh just doesn't seem to quite have the sort of underdog, victory at all costs mindset ingrained into him that Verge tends towards because he apparently had a more formal training than Verge, and wasn't constantly carrying all of Verge's baggage into a fight. Verge for the longest time has been fighting with the understanding it wasn't just him at stake, or even his team, but Luna and Thresh, Agnimon and Gramps, his spider boys, etc . . .
Verge is going to lose in the future, A LOT. That doesn't necessarily mean he's going to take the L in every fight, or anywhere close.I just realised there is a decent chance Verg is going to lose his next duel which is gonna make it a losing streak. That groundramon is expecting us at some point and he's supposedly really strong, Verg might not mind but it's gonna get a bit annoying.
SMOKEY!!!
As Inheritance's Astamon might say: "Sometimes you have to lose a few battle in order to win the war."To me this was the best result, Threst equaled the score. Got what he wanted and an excuse to fight with his brother in the future. That is basically even better than winning
Eh, retreating isn't a huge thing for him. It's losing that he doesn't care for.Think Thresh might enjoy this a bit more than fleeing. He no like fleeing
Is it just Verg who's going to be losing a lot in the future? Also he's going to take the L on the groudramon fight cause he's not gonna be using his magic or Avalon in a duel against one of the Mayor's students.Verge is going to lose in the future, A LOT. That doesn't necessarily mean he's going to take the L in every fight, or anywhere close.
