And they can punch and move stuff without it being set on fire. I Just kind of assumed it looked like fire
It's basically magic fire. Best not to think of the implications too much really.
Arg, if only we could use our inner wrath and scare Sparks enough to listen to us.

"SPARKS! DON'T YOU DARE!"
"Ab-b-bout what?"
"YOU KNOW! SO DON'T YOU EVEN DARE!"
Alas proccing wrath isn't that easy yet. Though that may change in the future depending on several decisions.

Right so we are not getting involved in the champion fight going on We're leaving that to our heavy hitters. Between The 3 of them they're the best suited for getting out of this alive.

Our job is to grab Fu hightail it to sparks and book it while the two of them act as our rear gunners.

[X] Plan: The better part of valor
-[X] Yell for Fu to retreat back to you. Run up to her and attempt to body block as needed.
-[X] Have Fu shoot as you run.
-[X] Yell to Gramps You'll get Sparks.
-[X] Find Sparks and grab him and get him to safety.
-[X] if he argues point out the fact that him being here means Flameomon is going to get himself killed trying to protect him and Sparks can't do anything right now. If he wants to help he can get on your back and let you make sure Flameomon can focus on his fight.
-[X] once Sparks is secure Run like hell.
Eeehhh, I don't know about this plan. Seems like it's trying to do too many things, which might end in disaster. That and I don't think we gotta tell Fu to shoot as we go. Something more simple like:

[] Tell Sparks to run and go with him, protecting him with your body as you go
-[] Ask Fu to come with you two and cover the retreat

would probably work better. I'd vote for that.

[X] Sparks follows the group here and now as the youngest he's in the most danger, you have to go and make sure he stays okay!

This is a horrible plan.

[X] Plan Ultimate Sacrifice
-[X] Throw rocks at the Mechanorimon
-[X] Shout as hard as we can insults at the Goblimon
-[X] Tell the others to escape without us
-[X] Run to an open part of the area with none of our allies being near us

Clearly if we become the target *taps head* then no one else can be the target!

Another reason I really don't like Better Part of Valor is that it involves calling out to Gramps, who is currently fighting a champion, which could distract him and get him hurt. The plan is just not safe for anyone.

The flamingo flock has a point as well...

By that same token him suddenly realizing oh shit there is a in training digimon with no one helping him would be far worse. Or him splitting his focus on fighting the champ and protecting Sparks.

If enough people think it's a bad idea I'm willing to change it but I'm of the opinion that a lack of communication in a fight is lethal.

The end goal of my plan is grab Fu use her as a gunner, grab Sparks and then have Verge Run away like his last name is Joestar.

The problem I think is that the communication is unexpected. If the group had a history of talking to one another during fights that's one thing. But Gramps is really not expecting us to suddenly bellow that one of the babies followed us here; so @no. kind of has a big point about it being potentially lethal for Gramps.

What about instead we get Fu and fall back to wherever he pops up to keep him safe?

All right I'll take out the communication bit with gramps.

And that's just too complicated. Fu's not an equippable item, she might get pulled away by enemy pressure or some other issue, or she might decide to ignore Verge. Any plan that requires someone not under your command to do exactly what you expect of them is unreliable. Plus, "getting Fu" requires leaving Sparks alone. What if Sparks wanders off and tries to fight while we're doing that? Finally, Gramps being distracted by his own thoughts is dry different from him being distracted by another person calling his name.

Edit: even without the Gramps thing this is too complicated. It's best to keep it simple in such an un-prepared for situation imo.

OK so what's your alternative? We go after only Sparks Fu is dead as a couple dozen Goblimon maul her to deleteion.

We only go after Fu and there's a large chance Sparks gets himself killed and we get surrounded and killed by the Goblimon horde.

We go for Fu drag her if needed, then drag Sparks off. That's not a complex plan.

We can't stick around this fight for very long and have a chance of surviving. Our job is to get the squishy people out so the heavy hitters can do their job.

If you have a better plan that gets both fu, sparks and Verge out of the line of fire id like to hear it. Because right now this is the only one with the chance of most of us getting out of this alive.

Fu can take a few hits and knows how to fight. Sparks dies to one.

I'll do a vote count now, see how things are shaping up!

It's more like "leave to get Fu, drag her out of wherever she was headed before and into a more dangerous path back, possibly endangering her more than if she was left alone, and leave Sparks alone for however long it takes to get Fu." You're advocating a plan with the consequences of two votes for the chance of getting the benefit of two votes as well. Issue is, we know we'll get the consequences, but not if we'll get either of the benefits. If we pick a default option, then we are guaranteed to get one benefit and one consequence.

Welp, we need to get Fu out of there she'll burn, and we need sparks out of there too since he's absolutely going to get wrecked otherwise.
