The reason of why Verge didn't go for the same treatment as Beat was that it would limit his mobility and agility past Verge said it he needs to be agile enough to avoid some hits. So Pit getting the Boar is better for us as we need that Agility.

[X] Suggest he wait for the next digimon. He doesn't need to be tougher, just better at what he currently does. (+Agility, Strength & Spirit)
 
Remember guys, size here means he can soak hits better when he does get hit. So giving him the data here means that we'll hopefully be negating his glass jaw.

I get that. The thing is, I get the feeling it will only negate his glass jaw, not make him actually good at soaking hits.

He'll have higher defensive stats and more physical bulk, but he won't actually be tanky.

I feel like the ideal stat combo would actually be something like Attack + Endurance + Agility.

The biggest reason I'm going for the boar is because of Pit's bouts of Wrath. If it weren't for that, and their accompanying tendency to dive headfirst into the fight, I would suggest he go speed in order to build on his growing leadership/support role.

Honestly, there could be some benefit to getting the squad together and puting some formal effort into developing our tactics. Verge and Sparks have a nasty tank'n'spank combo going, but I think we could find more synergies. We could use the tactics meetings for the hunts as an impetus.

The war between Host and Gloaming will be decided when the bulk of the Gloaming's male-attracted mon defect in order to pursue a romance with Pit.

I also get the vibe that bulking up points him toward SlashAngemon and Dominimon trees. Aka the meele angels

Seraphimon is more magic inclined I think

Well, if thinking about it from that angle, you know what else could theoretically fit as a Mega?

Jesmon.

In one of the video games it's a legit evolution of MagnaAngemon, it's got a very Leeroy Jenkins personal fighting style but tends to act as a team leader in battles, it uses raw hax to push its body past natural limits so that it gets through fights without taking a scratch, it has a deep connection to the Sistermons, and the origins of its name are "Justice", "Edge", "Swordsman", and "Jesus".

Pit hasn't been a training freak like the rest for the current squad. I feel like some of his issues in battle are just because his general fighting skill is lower then everyone else's.

Going for this for the reason that it should make it easier for Pit to use his new spear and because I think our bro would love being able to gain a increase in height. Since his small size has been a minor issue for him.

It's not quite that simple.

Verge is a tank through and through. His primarily method of defense is blocking and parrying/deflecting.

Beat is more of a lightning tank, he can dodge stuff and tank hits as the situation requires.

Pit is a full on vanguard. His fighting style is about putting down as much damage as possible in a short amount of time. Him facetanking hits is more a side effect of that than anything else.

What Pit currently does is he punches them and they hurt, they punch him and he goes down before them.
Adding Boar means he punches them, they hurt lots, if they don't go down, they punch him, and he punches them again. And also he can use Ultimate grade spear easily.
Adding Tiger means he punches them, they hurt lots, if they don't go down, they punch him and he goes down. He's also better at healing, but Pit is amazing at healing if he doesn't KO straight away, he can full heal Verge and Beat by accident while healing someone else.

This is like the Black Digitron upgrade for Beat. A game changer just because of how they fight.

I am sorry but I feel I was quite clear and I just looked at the list of megas associated with the Angels and its pretty obvious that as things are Pit is gonna aim for further angelic evolutions, sure he probably has devils and other types but so far he is cookie cutter, granted he is bullshit cookie cutter

That was all there was too it. SlashAngemon and Dominimon are meele types from just looking at their bodies and attacks. Maybe it goes from Magna--> Focus dependent ---->Mega

I know MagnaAngemon can meele since he also has Excalibur but Magna feels more like an all around type rather than focused

Honestly we only have the material to go and its the manga only, Dominimon doesn't appear anywhere else

For all we know nothing stopping a Dominimon of winning against A seraphimon and both losing to THE SERAPHIMON

Important to note Pit wants to become one of the Great Angels just not the same species
 
The choice for what to suggest for Pit here basically boils between him either becoming tankier, or getting better at what he already does, I.e. further specialization. Both are equally viable.

So considering how snake boi had enough data for two surgeries and how big this hog is, who else will/can be spliced?

Cause I nominated Verge for it as well considering how perfect those buff are for Verge the Tank.
