    • Alright everyone, I have a confession to make that must be done before the day is over. I can't write Verge anymore.

    I despise all the honour and martial artist stuff. Not to mention all the lame, fight scenes and character drama. My initial plans for this was to have Verge develop into a completely blank character so I could throw a harem at him and have shenanigans but you guys all totally ruined it!

    From now on I'm going to end this and start a new quest with a cooler, darker version of the PC. Someone who can always do what needs to be done and gets literally all the babes! Expect plenty of bash8ng of that unlikeable jackass Gnaw and prepare for that total Mary Sue Flamemon hero guy to be shown up!

    Oh right! And I can't forget the Lunamon romance! Everyone knows non-blood related incest is wincest and totally not degeneracy or creepy! I've commissioned NfSW fanart for all the female characters so just get ready for all the Leeds one can ask for!

    Not to mention the Slash between male characters which is all the rage. Verge is naturally fabulous and it would be a shame for him not get into that action as well!

    Anyway, that's it for now. I'll have the new thread up tomorrow, so say your last goodbyes to Verge and the main cast!

    .... And heaven forbid the theoretical villain that would require both ever show up.

    Beyond that? The Knights probably focus on their own desires, or heck possible even work with other Pantheons so long as the one in question isn't omnicidal.

    No idea what the Olympus 12 do, they seem less like jerks than the Greek Gods... and even the Royal Knights if the later are having a bad day but that might just be because the RK have a shocking amount of stints as villains.

    Isn't the whole villain knight because their boss decides to be a giant dick that cycle and not so much any desire of the Knights?

    As the Knights have always been more enforcers and champions rather than driving forces in and of themselves most the time.

    Which is kind of funny when you think about it.

    True enough, probably why most of them defect in a lot of cycles.

    Well except Dynasmon and Crusadermon, but the former is known to be stubbornly loyal and the latter is known to be a jerk.

    Wonder how they stack up compared to the others.

    Well powerwise it is hard to place them, since besides outliers like alphamon and Omnimon, most the rest of the Knights are all generally in the same ballpark of power/skill. Since they are a pretty well rounded OP bunch.

    Though Dynasmon does have a X form, so he likely has a greater potential then those that don't, so he might be on the higher end of the knights.

    As for Crusadermon, isn't his call to fame being the fastest guy of the Knights? Which is super impressive when you got knights with time stopping powers. So he is another hard one to place. Since speed is very very important when everyone pretty much plays rocket tag at the level the Knights are at.

    Nah, fastest is UlforceVeedramon, who is basically the Digimon version of The Flash.
     
    Crusadermon is like, Third-Fastest of the bunch last I checked. Duftmon Beast Mode is faster, but only by a bit. Ulforce surpasses both. though one could argue that it's the most Prideful of the Knights.
    Considering that it's also called LordKnightmon, and it's known to digivolve from Knightmon, the 'gimmick' it has is probably 'Is the Leader of All Knightmon'?

    Make sense when you think about, their boss is the one that makes and unleashes both the plague and cure on the digital world. So him making sure his key enforcers get upgrade modes from it is just good sense.

    But yeah, a entire RK line of X modes would be scary as hell. Heck is there even anything in setting that can stand up to that kind of line up?

    While all those guys are great threats in and of themselves, I still wouldn't give any single one of them good odds against a complete team of X mode RKs.

    As those guys are just so well set up to bypass pretty much all the normal bullshit defenses of those usual big bads.

    Now if you got a couple of those guys together and had a team battle between the two, then we might be talking there.

    Fair enough, although I do want to bring up defences for Gaiamon and Neo.

    Mainly due to Gaiamon being born from the already end game threat Galaticmon fusing with the Planet Earth and Neo is the being that evolved from Digimon themselves to ascend into something that can no longer even be called a Digimon.

    Cause even with a RK X team I don't see those two types of foes as easy opponents.

    Agree'ed but that just makes them a hard fight.

    Since with the 3 man team of Omegamon X-Antibody, Imperialdramon: Paladin Mode and Alphamon Ouryuken working together with back up from the others, I can't really see them losing.

    I'm pretty Omegamon X and Imperialdramon: Paladin mode being together would require that at least 2 Omegamon have come into existence considering that one is needed to get Paladin mode in the first place.
