So I'm gonna start trying to leaving my thoughts on chapters now.
"Lunamon and Thresh are still alive." After a second of thinking you continue. "Auger too."

"They are!?" Your friend exclaims, a hint of genuine happiness working its way into his surprise.
Hopefully this gives Sparks some hope that not everythings lost yet.
"Why, yes it is sweetie!" Frigimon agrees, sounding slightly surprised by the fact that your friend knows about it. "My caretaker taught me the recipe back when I was still a cute little rookie." The Frigimon straightens up suddenly, as if realizing something. "Little ones, the mayor told me your village was destroyed. The caretaker there, was he an Elecmon with a scar on his head?"
Welp we found another cousin. That's nice.
Sparks hops ahead of you and overtakes a free desk in the corner, and you naturally choose to stand beside him. Your ears catch a few whisper about "Cripple", "One arm", "Scary", & "*Champion*",
Figures the Rookies would point out Spark's missing limb first. Still it's amusing they think we're a Champion. Ya know when we're not compared to badasses like Flame it becomes apparent we surprisingly strong for a Rookie.
Instead of more practical lessons, the angel digimon begins to rather boisterously praise the Blessed Host and its ideals. Talking about "God", the "Supreme Divine Being" who created the world and how everyone should join together in "Worship". It's odd, but a number of the rookies there seem to really enjoy the sermon, though you're really not sure what to think of it. You can't help but wonder if he does this every day. It sounds exhausting, both for him and the students. Sparks seems a bit disgruntled by the entire thing and you catch him muttering words under his breath a few times about not liking how he's dismissing The 10 religion as unimportant in face of some overarching figure, but he doesn't dare to actually speak up about it.
Welp That's Religion for you. Spreading it's word and dismissing/bashing others.
This includes the Mayor's office, where an enormous, scarred dinosaur digimon waves at your group.
Huh MasterTryannomon. Wasn't expecting that.
Just from what you're able to tell with the boxy metal walls blocking what's inside from sight, and the dozen odd rookies patrolling outside, it probably wouldn't be easy to attack.
Nor the Commandramon.
Frigimon explains that the town is lucky enough to host one of *Bulwark's* outposts.
Huh so this is what abit of their fire power looks like. Wow.
A few buildings serving food which she calls *restaurants*, something called a *gym*, and a very tall white building bearing a sign labelled: BHTS
The restaurant probably make really good food that gives stats or buff, but it'd probably be expensive for the good stuff. Gym is going to be real useful in the future when training is concerned. And finally the general store.
-Whatever she's about to say is cut off as as a snowball slams into the magical digimon, completely burying her in the sighing Frigimon's attack.
Kek.
"Mmm. So warm. So soft and fluffy." With that, she buries her head into the thick fur on your chest.
Our Fluffy Fur strikes again!
Hope people found this either useful or amusing

I really think Verge needs a break, but I don't want him off solo for now, the little guys need him.

[X] Headbutt.

I don't want to pick the fear option is this seems the least damaging.

I'm just glad we have confirmation that Verge is still fluffy, scraggly look aside.

At the very least we're not drilling her? Cause that is definitely the most dangerous option presented considering it is the one that is most likely to cause harm.
I'll give you that one at least, doesn't mean I have to like the idea of potentially setting off a fight. (Albeit it might not be from Ardat's end, but someone else getting the wrong idea and dragging local peacekeeping forces into the mess.)

That said, didn't Luna and Thresh rather enjoy our fuzziness? Ardat could possibly be a way to help get Verge's head screwed back on straight after all the shit he's been through. plus a few other minor things. such as a potential avenue for furthering our own High Programming skills should we be so inclined(If Sorcerymon had a Light Grimoire, then surely Ardat would have a Wind Grimoire given her obviously preferred style?), as well as get him used to people smiling at him again.)

Are you arguing for going limp? I'm pretty sure you read the part where Drexal didn't specify if Cowardly would trigger when faced with the Count and Repulsa or it would be overshadowed by Wrath, which I took as it would depend on our choices whether or not Cowardly would impede us.

Think of it in these terms instead, would you rather potentially set off a fight now, or have Verge be a Coward when faced with the digimons who took everything from him in the future.

Also its just a Headbutt and the one receiving it is a Champion, unless that Champion was skipping any possible attempt to raise her Endurance, she should take it no problem.

Also if you argue that because she is a Witchmon a magic wielding digimon, she must have low physical stats, you might be right, but remember Sorcerymon a similar magic wielding digimon survive getting attacked by I think it was the Count? An Ultimate, and he wasn't even a fighter by trade, as he admitted so his stats weren't as strong as it could be.

So to reiterate she should be able to take it no problem.

Mainly just stating that none of the other options seem particularly good either, especially since they're red and generally entail some form of violence. We ain't exactly in the wild or back at the village after all.

There's actually a lot of things coming into play here for Verge's potential reactions.

First and foremost there's the whole simialrity with Repulsa's smile. Which he saw just a few days ago as said LadyDevimon dragged a claw down his face.

She also has a vaguely similar body type, (I.e. humanoid woman) albeit not as lanky as Repulsa was.

His phobia of being crushed is also in play here since the cold digimon is wrapping her arms around him.

Her entrance (coming in out of nowhere and introducing herself dramatically) didn't help either.

First three options are variant violent responses yes, but there's different levels to them. Drill is of course the most drastic and represents the most overwhelming wrath. Bite is below that. Headbutt takes the most control out of all of them since it's Verge going for the non-lethal least damaging thing.

Going limp is Verge basically giving up and going "Maybe if I pretend to be a stuffed animal she'll leave me alone":p

I'd have rated it funny too on accounts of the stuffed animal remark(which would still kinda be in character for Verge. combo of fear and 'WTF is with this lady?!' is as good a reason as any for Verge to have a temporary BSOD.), but alas, I have but one rating to give.

The last place she shows the two of you is also the strangest - a large metal structure on the opposite end of town from the mansion. Just from what you're able to tell with the boxy metal walls blocking what's inside from sight, and the dozen odd rookies patrolling outside, it probably wouldn't be easy to attack.
Commandramon! The best Rookie!

Yeah, these guys really need us now.

Now, onto the final vote...
A sharp squeeing sound echoes through the air, and a moment later the clawed arms are wrapped around your body.

"Mmm. So warm. So soft and fluffy." With that, she buries her head into the thick fur on your chest.
My romance senses are tingling, but if we choose the limp option Verge remains cowardly!? WHY MUST YOU DO THIS TO ME!?

[X] Headbutt.

While I do want to hang out with the KoDokugumon more I feel like training with Sparks is better right now.

Also I didn't realize Sparks had that much faith in The Ten. I know he picked up the phrase from Gramps, but I didn't figure that he picked up the actual faith too.

I think we need to make very sure that nothing happens to the kids because we let our guard down. I also honestly don't entirely trust a village where the Rookies are essentially being brainwashed via propaganda to believe in the Blessed Host above others. I think we need to do more investigation, because that Bulwark outpost reminds me uncomfortably of a military lab.
[X] Headbutt.
Let's start work on our control of our anger as best we can by going with the least lethal non-fear response.

As spending time to destress would do both us and our family a load of good. Since jumping right into training right after the hell we just went through a few days ago seems like it would just add onto the stress we are already under and reduced any gains we could get and make it more likely one of us could do something unwise.

So with that in mind, I think spending time getting some of our barrings again and make sure to reinforce we care for family before power could help show we haven't been changed to much at our core and that good olde brother Verge still loves our guys.

@drexal15 So we know that the Count and Repulsa evoke ever burring rage in Verge; however can Verge focus past that immediate rage enough to connect that they attacked his village for messing up their mining operation in the area. I know Repulsa mentioned it, but I'm not sure Verge would have remembered that offhand comment because traumatic memories are tricky things. Basically does Verge in his current mental state have enough clarity to connect the two events or are they unrelated in his mind.
