… I was going over my spreadsheet on stats earlier, and noticed something kind of… highly embarrassing.

According to what I've written down, Verge's second strength softcap is 85,000. And his special 2nd softcap is 66,100. Meaning for the past however long period of time I've been calculating the math on those two wrongly.

All the other soft caps match up thank god, but… this leaves me with a problem. I'm not going to go back and recalculate Verge's various gains. That would be a nightmare.

Honestly, my first thought to fix things, is to just use the Baihumon Tekkousou as an excuse to raise both stats to their proper 2nd soft cap. Then to go from there.

Any objections?

That works! Baihumons two highest stats are probably Strength and Special (or Spirit) anyway so it's thematically relevant as well.

Yeah, that seems fine. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if the source of the problem was forgetting to update the caps used in gains calculations when we got a Talent increase, which is a very easy mistake to make.

Decent odds that Agility is one of its higher stats too. Since, you know, Tiger.

I'm not gonna turn down free gains.

Also, one day we'll be able to Mega Punch without uselessly exploding our hand. Hopefully when we are nearing some hard caps.

Wonder what the response is going to be with what just happened. At minimum that was a 2v1 thing . And with people whom are geniuses/ mega nerds someone is going to notice that it was a god damn Mega

I don't expect and formal action but I imagine a lot of the competitors are spooked that we took that down more or less comfortably.

Another reason to probably not eat Parismon if/when we kill it, is the massive dose of Sloth corruption that would probably result in. It'd also probably push us closer to a Dark Evolution for our Mega like Callismon.

Yeah that thing gets deleted at a distance and data blown away with a hard wind.

We've got too much sin energy as is thank you

Sloth corruption is probably the worst for Verge personally too since it doesn't motivate him to get better in some way. Rather it actively clashes with his personality as is which could result in bad things happening. Besides him possibly growing lazier.

not really, Tigers are on the slow end of big cats (still rather fast don't get me wrong) but honestly with how bulky Baihumon is and the fact it has an Iron theme I imagine Fortitude or Endurance is probably 2nd or 3rd highest stat.

I'd say endurance more so, in Tamers Baihumon fought the D Reaper alone and was still able to contribute even into the final battle despite the fighting on the digital world side being constant.

Mind you thats true for all the Sov's to an extent but the only one who was fighting in any appreciable amount other than the tiger was bird boi and he only started fighting later into the arc, while the tiger was apparently battling long enough for the turtle to need to step up and manage his territory for the duration.

To be fair, it's Zhuqiaomon(which says all that needs to be said). he was more concerned with keeping an iron fist over his part of the Digital World than anything else. it was only after he got his shit pushed in by Team Tamers that he actually bothered to be directly proactive in regards to the D-Reaper.

If I remember right he also indirectly screwed with the dragons plans regarding dealing with it.

Really out of the 4 it seems like the other 3 are mostly on the same page and that he's the guy they only call in when they need all hands on deck.

I wonder how many mon have to go through with unleashing a technique they had no idea the had before hand, with Verg I think this is twice now the first time being Avalon.

Pretty much. and even then they're more likely to just try to solve it without him. even his own allies aren't particularly keen on dealing with him any more than they already have to.

Third, actually. IIRC, during the fight with Count, Verge and Sparks used what would have been the technique of whatever their Jogressed Mega would be. (Can't remember if it was Marsmon or Apollomon)

Ah right.

It's gonna be funny at least with all these mon thinking Verg just used his secret technique he was hiding when in reality he barley has any idea of what he just did.
