Crystalwatcher's Magical Girl Quest!

I think it's because she was the direct minion of a god and can thus be revived by it. Might be something we want to look into come endgame I suppose. There's a bunch of team gear's members that bought it.
...I'm not giving you guys a free resurrection button for all of Team Gear. Not Letting Crys or Gore give you one either.

This implies that the DS population is only part of the UD through culture instead of biology (for a given value of 'biology'; maybe origination would be a better term?) as opposed to Hell. It makes me wonder if the DS have breakaway units that just aren't involved in the War at all.
Plenty. Same with the Demons.

*points to Goddess Red* How about an expensive one? :p

Well of course not. Otherwise we would abuse it to power up Gehaburn. :V

Riiight, and how, pre-tell, would you convince an enemy combatant, whom not only does a significant number of the users in this thread want her head on a plate, but is rather mentally broken and will be even more broken should she someone switch sides, to be our Phoenix Down dispenser?

That's for you to figure out. Though if she switches sides, then Ana's relationship with one or more of her sisters means it wouldn't be hard.

Please we can kill people so hard Goddess Red cant rez them.
Not good enough.
Only those you care about and you shouldn't be killing those anyway.
Mentally Broken. A few kind (or 'kind') words from Goddess Gold and/or White isn't going to change much. And that's not taking into consideration Goddess Grey (Whom I'm still hoping is "Actually Evil™").
...do you think she'd go catatonic or something?

I was thinking about this matter for a while... but if we manage to get Ni, could we ask to get Richard and Jessica revived?
Considering her main job if she switched sides would be resurrecting those who died in the war? Yep.
Can we get mind-rape skills?
...What. No, why?
I mean at the very least we should get Red to clean up her mess, right?
...I don't want to know.

O_O

Wait, seriously? What has Goddess Red ever done to us???

Sent that first monster that killed our sister and hometown (okay, 2 marks), resurrected Candy Heart to send her at us (3rd mark), let her Knight stay so we got killed (our fault - the players at the time didn't think things through), forced us to kill Candy Heart (our fault - the players at the time didn't specify "attempt to take her alive"), resurrected our sister for us to reclaim (thanks Ni! 2 marks left), resurrected the Old Guard for us to reclaim (thanks Ni! 1 mark left)... Including White Soul (she was cray-cray anyway, still - no harm no foul)... and Juggernaut Drive (thanks Ni! 0 marks left).

AFAIK Goddess Red in terms of personal harm inflicted comes out more or less balanced out. And her strategic fucking up everyone gets directed straight to "Mentally Broken - Blame Whoever Broke Her - Hey It Was Current Dark Lord and Fall of Hope" line of thought and absolves her of my hatred. She might be a Tragic Villain, but the key word there is Tragic, not Villain.

I wasn't talking about hatred, I meant how are you going to convince her, and this is knowing that, by Crystalwatchers word, her guilt will come crashing down on her should the UD lose, not only from seeing that the UD's 'inevitable victory' was a lie, but also from the fact that a significant part of the UD winning was explicitly because of her own actions.

I was more referring to the "whom not only does a significant number of the users in this thread want her head on a plate" part of your statement. Because convincing her to serve as resurrection dispenser is simple enough in theory. EDIT: once we actually have her in custody, that is. See Lord Marshal's post below on how to convince her to surrender.

No matter what Solid Core may say or do, Goddess Red will never fully recover from her stint as Unified Darkness trump card. That doesn't mean she will shut down. This means she'll either go all the way to overcompensation/atonement (read - a retinue of genuinely respectful angels will accompany her everywhere while she resurrects everyone) or all the other way around to suicidal tendencies.

We merely need to convince her that killing herself will still leave her family shattered just as it was finally reunited. That and convince Madame Morte (who's all but guaranteed to be there and have an axe to grind) that keeping watch over Goddess Red as she is doing her resurrections is a cruel mercy, while killing her or letting her die is an easy way out.

There many avenues to convince her.
First of all, the fact that her current position it's born from absolute desperation.
She's not with UD because she like it, if fact, if she could really resurrect people to her heart content, UD would already been backstabbed by the gigantic army Demon Lord/Magical Girls/Angels/Whatever dead body Red found will going on a Phoenix Down spree.
We can use that.
She's with the UD because the UD is gonna win, but more than that is because she had(and has) no idea what to do.
If it was something as simple as "UD is gonna win" she would made a counter-plan, the problem is that is that she is the equivalent of an animal in a corner.
We can point that out, if we want to be brutal.
She joined the UD to save her family, and how is that going? Man what a good work, a brainwashed sister, the other two ready to kill, and she's completely suicidal, truly "Plan of the century" there.

Second, we bring hope with us, we can use that as a carrot.
Grey life, as long as Red was concerned was, pretty much "Puppet for life" and Red plan to resolve that was "Self-hate until the heat death of the universe".
But if she sides with us....She could actually have her family, the real one, back.

Third, we are an actual war asset no one considered.
Red considered the UD victory assured with Grey dead and White who knows where.( And the emotional impact of watching Hope burn like a mix of pepsi and mentos).
But now the UL has two goddesses plus the Old Guard plus the Drives plus us.
Things changed from Hope,

Fourth, a simple appeal to reason.
After the war she WILL be killed by the UD, she's too dangerous.
Even if the UD is winning, her only real hope of survival is to return to the fold before it's too late, because alone she won't have any chance to win.

Fifth, pointing out the sacrifices to make.
Is having a brainwashed Grey painful? That's nothing, she still need to kill White, and do the same thing to her, and the same with Gold.
If she remain with the UD, she will kill and resurrect her own family as brainwashed puppets.
Her "Victory" is simply a defeat where she can still fake some happiness instead of actually doing something.

The problem is not "There is no way to convince her" the problem "Is actually forcing her to listen to us without fighting".
Personally i'm more for the "Points out her error and flaws-->Shows her why her future is without hope even if she wins--->offer her a glimmer of hope-->Appeal to her sense of duty to her sisters if she fears judgment/appeal to her promise to the loves her sisters still feel for her" if we are in a stable situation for talking.
If not, i would start with the "hope" part to stop the incoming fight and then keep talking.

Recently though, they've been investigating the Akashic Pillar's "Bounty System" as another way to get extra resources along the front line to reduce the strain their armies tend to place on their outer most colonies. It's a bit touch and go, but results are promising.

How does the Akashic Pillar Bounty System work? It just like real world Bounty System where someone put a bounty for someone? How Bounty System is use to gather extra resources?

Info was given about it in the past.

Its basically a system that captures the souls of demons killed near military bases and creates raw materials by sacrificing their souls. Then people get paid based on how many and how strong demons they kill.

Holy shit... I guess that's humanity for you. While fighting for the light, we still manage to automate evil.

Eh. It's kills near milatary bases in a defensive war on a species of cochroaches. Go home and stay there if you doNY want mulched.
