Crystalwatcher's Magical Girl Quest!

i wonder if the universe is a divine being? what about the multiverse? omniverse? are all concepts divine beings?
The multiverse is a Divine Being. One of the scale tiers of Divine Beings is specifically intended for universe sized ones.

I never got an answer though on what category would apply to something like Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, which is too small for the universal scale (minimum of half a universe in size), but far too large for the scale that's one step below that (a few galaxies in size). For reference, STTGL's scale is "bigger than the Observable Universe (100 billion galaxies), but still far less than half of the entire universe".

[x] Plan: Blitzkrieg
-[x] You can fly much faster than they can track you. Ram Solar at max speed (without using a weapon) in order to push her far away from Lunar before either of them have a chance to react.
--[x] Try to pin her to the ground or a wall if at all possible. Otherwise, use your speed to distract her with an untrackable target and don't let her reunite with Lunar.
--[x] Once the Radiances have been separated, Gabriel will back up Nepgear. Gabriel will also keep Presence of Light active, with the same stipulations as usual.
-[x] Red Rose will keep Lunar distracted.
--[x] James will help keep a few heads occupied, but will retreat if Lunar uses any gas attacks.
-[x] Insight will use Your Next Words Will Be... in order to interrupt actions as she sees fit.
-[x] Samael will cast Unlock to remove Solar's buffs, and then focus on using Purge to destroy Control Seals. If no Control Seals can be targeted, he will cast Libras.
-[x] Brilliant Key will defend Insight and Samael from stray attacks and focus on keeping everyone healed up, particularly Red Rose, Nepgear, and Gabriel. If either primary fight is being overwhelmed, she will join in as backup.
-[x] Michael, Aquila, and Lucky will stay out of range and focus on staying alive.
-[x] If things start looking grim, Nepgear will use Core Purge and her agility in order to destroy Control Seals before anyone dies.

[X] Plan Cut the Snake's Heads

-[X] Everyone else, target the snake's heads to destroy them
--[X] Keep one alive until the seal has been destroyed
-[X] Keep an eye out for Lunar's seal, when found, destroy it ASAP

-[X] Solid Core will activate Core Purge after designating the two Radiances as friendly, and their Control Seals as hostile. She will then fly towards them, making sure that they are both within 50 meters of her.
--[X] If Lunar Radiance's Seal is not instantly popped, Solid Core is to begin flying around Lunar, trying to get the Seal within Core Purge's AOE.
---[X] If either Radiance is still hostile, Sam and Insight are to continue using Your Next Line Is... and Quantified Combat respectively until all hostilities are ceased.
-[X] Gabriel is to catch Solar Radiance if she falls from Lunar's head, and Lunar if Lunar winds up above the ground after she's knocked out for whatever reason. In addition, her Presence of Light are to treat both Radiances as friendly, and their Control Seals as hostile.

Turns out her therapist has a web-page. Right now she's asking for donations, she says Solid Core and Truth carelessly destroyed her office during the recent incursion into New York. There's also a blog where she decries the existence of the Counter Force and demands Humanity abandon Unified Light.

How did she get picked to console an MG in the first place?

It is funny that her pejorative terms were taken as a ringing endorsement. A clearer case of MG bloodlust would be hard to get.

In order.

Let me assure you that my growth affinity is not epic. Why did your group decide I had to be legend or epic in the first place? It's Legend-Maker.

I can see through myself when I'm transformed, sort-of. This lets me see behind me and through my own attacks, and anything I can see I can block. It doesn't matter how many attacks there are.

Hell doesn't have that trans-dimensional cage that traps people anymore. I broke it, and then ate the pieces. I suppose they might have more, but I suspect that was their only example.

I can teleport to any place that I know. I've actually asked to carry nukes into Hell, give them a bit of payback for Rome and Hope.

Goddess Gold is more powerful than you can imagine. I tried to avoid her, Goddess White, and Gaia. Get someone else to ask them vapid questions.

It wasn't the drugs or incubi that appealed. When I was fighting every day to stay alive I thought I'd want to avoid it once I got out, but I miss the feeling of improving and the thrill of outsmarting an enemy.

Once I was released they told me to get a therapist, she was the first one I found that was in-budget. It's disappointing to hear that she wants to surrender.

Isn't it a bad idea to tell us about that? That seems like the sort of thing that gets MGs killed.

You can look at the list of Confirmed MG posters. 22 out of 29 are deceased, it's no joke.

I was hoping you were one of the "Love and Justice" types. Carnage's fans will probably love you, at least.

What happened to the frilly, unblemished girls? The blood-stained cohort is starting to get annoying.

Also:

You really shouldn't have mentioned the I-thing right after Happy Mint's post.

I've sent you a message about how to regain your posting privileges. Blabbing about being able to teleport with strategic weapons is painting a godzilla-sized target on yourself. I'll let you redo your introduction afterwards.

I gave a look to Lieutenant Baker. "This is inaccurate, it would take hours for me to reach Hell. And our nukes are too heavy for me to carry." I tapped the screen of the laptop lightly. "And you've gotten me banned from the board you signed me up on, it hasn't even been two hours."

Baker's grin held steady. "I'm trying to get attention. You volunteered for this mission, remember?"

He handed me the folder he was carrying and continued. "We're faking a disciplinary paper trail. You'll head to a listening post in the middle of nowhere. Once a group shows up looking for your head you will kill or evade them at your discretion. Making them rush like this helps draw heat off of everyone else, and invites their counter intel to make mistakes." He rubbed his hands together at that. "Since we emphasized that you're a Legend-Maker I doubt the group they send after you will match your boasting. It should give you the fight you've been asking for."

That made a fair amount of sense. I would need to be on alert to counter ambush them, but nothing I wasn't familiar with. I nodded at Baker to show approval, then spoke. "Did they agree to let me Fuse any of the items I asked about?"

"Not something I'd hear about, sorry." he replied.

I have some ideas that continue this, but want Crystalwatcher's permission before I go crazy with it. @Crys: would you mind if I PM'd you a explanation of said crazy ideas?

TTGL is closer to Galactic scale than Universal so they'd go under that.

Cosmos represents Reality, everything that can be considered "Real" more or less. The specific location for the LDC is in her chest. The right side to be precise. QQ for exact coordinates.

Void represents everything that isn't reality. Such as "Dream" or "Imagination". She's a lot harder to quantify but is noticeably weaker than Cosmos.

And I'm guessing Cosmos and Void are on the top of []'s hit list, right?
They've been at that position since the start.

Remember Calamity? Cosmos and Void deciding to exist is what started that mess. [ ] (The space is important) was forced to Exist when they did so, which it really didn't want to do since not-existing was going pretty well for it. It's end goal is the cessation of [EXISTANCE] which killing Cosmos will go a long way towards. The problem is, fighting her means you're also fighting Void at the exact same time. And that's a hurdle that allowed those two to win during the Calamity to begin with since there was pretty much nothing that could take them both on at once.

I did warn you that the spacing would get fucked if you used the rich text editor, didn't I?
Couple questions:
  1. What exactly is he using?
  2. Where can I get it for my own use?
  3. Are those pictures automatic or do you have to add them in?
Because I was using the PHO forum generator.

That much is obvious. I asked about Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann for a reason :V

Here's some relevant sizes:
  • Milky Way: 100,000 ly
  • Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann: 5.28 billion ly
  • Observable Universe: 93 billion ly
  • Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann: 150 billion ly
  • Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann's Drill: 1.5 trillion ly

Poking the Wiki page, I've decided to label it a super-high-end Galactic scale being that's close to hitting Universal.

The answer is "the proof that the players of the quest which Summit is an expy of the protagonist of have way too much time on their hands" :V
I think that only answers the first question.

What exactly is he using?
I brought this up before: False Forum Formatting (Author Resource)
Where can I get it for my own use?
See above. But if you want that done let me know and I'll do it, okay? I've spent a lot of time with that in the past, so I have some experience.

You have to add them in.

So basically, to beat them you need to somehow invoke 'Divided We Fall'. Which at this point there isn't anything strong and/or willing enough to do so.

...what is the strongest thing in this setting anyway? It's not like we would ever meet it anyway baring some colossal fuck-up so massive sentient concepts want us dead.

Seeing as though Lost said he probably wasn't going to do Rayquaza, I thought I'd see if I could make a decent representation which could cause the necessary effects while avoiding adding yet more epics.

Base Damage: 20,000
Magic Modifier: 15,000
Affinity: Air | Sky | Dragon
Ability: Collateral damage

Dragon Claw
-A large, draconic claw slashes at Atmospheric Pressure's foe.
Level 2
Base Damage: 8,000
Magic Modifier: 6,000
Affinity: Dragon
Ability: Shred | Rend

Dragon Ascent
-Atmospheric Pressure rises into the air and smashes into her foe, halving her Base Resilience every time she does so.
Level 10
Base Damage: 40,000
Magic Modifier: 30,000
Affinity: Air | Sky | Dragon
Ability: Self-debuff

Meteor Swarm
-Irony meteorites rain from the sky.
Level 6
Base Damage: 24,000
Magic Modifier: 18,000
Affinity: Sky | Dragon
Ability: Danmaku | Apocalypse

Abilities

Aerokinesis
-Magical Girl Atmospheric Pressure can telekinetically control air within a 100 meter radius.

Skylock
-The weather around Atmospheric Pressure is whatever she decides it to be and weather related spells and abilities fail in her presence unless she deliberately allows them.

Flight
-Level 15

Comforting Breeze
-All abilities which specifically target affinities related to Air, Sky and Weather automatically fail in Atmospheric Pressure's presence.

Escape Velocity
-Atmospheric Pressure can massively increase her speed when flying straight up, allowing her to reach and travel within space. Also, as she creates her own air, she is immune to vacuum, poisonous gasses and any other form of suffocation.

Meteor Smasher
-Atmospheric Pressure can attack and destroy objects far larger than herself, allowing her to bypass morality limits and multiplying her damage by the number of times larger than her the target object is in a specific dimension (the one which would result in the median damage).

Outsiderbane
-Atmospheric Pressure doubles her damage against beings from somewhere other than Earth or who are a servant of a divine entity other than Gaia. In the case of beings with a higher growth affinity than her, or whom are divine entities, this is redoubled for each level above her they are.

Stomachhold
-Atmospheric Pressure can swallow a weapon whole and is then treated as having the benefits of holding and using that weapon with an invisible, intangible, third hand. This also raises her attacks per turn by 50%.

Prayers of a Nation
-For every order of magnitude more supporters Atmospheric Pressure has in a fight, her stats double.

Not really going to challenge Primal Groudon there without help, but she needs Prayers of a Nation to mega-evolve and she's got nothing in her stomach right now, mega-stone or otherwise. Technically, Outsiderbane was inspired by Twitch Plays Pokemon, but it's still mostly based on events from the games like the Deoxys fight and Oda's shiny one being meant to take on Arceus.

Plus, abilities are more interesting than straight stats and I want to avoid competing with the top list.

Probably still needs adjustments anyway though.

At the top Tiers, power levels get wonky. Technically on an individual basis [ ] and Calamity!Chronos are both a lot more powerful than Cosmos and Void, but together those two are stronger than both of them.

A bit too strong to be canon, but I like her.

For everyone else: I'm going to be going through the character submissions for a bit to clear up some of the early leaks.

So expect some Edit-to-Canon sheets to pop up and a number of the canon sheets to drop to non-Canon.
