Crystalwatcher's Magical Girl Quest!

It's also the reason Angels rarely, if ever make promises. They know instinctually that a broken promise = more demons. So they will only make a promise when they're willing to die to keep it.
You know I'm going to go through every post since Gabriel showed up and look for anything that can be construed as a promise now right?

Class 7+ Demons: Borderline Divine Beings. Class 7 Demons are born from events like World War 1 and World War 2, where so many promises were broken all at once that the energy released is comparable to the Tsar Bomba. These fuckers require one of the Goddesses or an Archangel to show up in order to combat, because anything less is likely going to be nothing more than a stain in a boot print.
As a remind Nepgear with ICORE is rated as Class 9 levels of durability:
Creatures that are equivalent to Class 5 Demons can readily bypass her Invulnerability at will, such as the Top 20 Magical Girls and similarly powerful individuals. Right now, baring Indestructible Core, Anastasia is at minimum Equal to a high Class 3 or low Class 4 Demon. With Indestructible Core, she's hitting low Class 9 in Defense.

It's not from Gabriel but this:
"Also, Yama. Thanks again for your help on D9-7 before it fell. Would have been dead if you didn't save me."

The angel chuckles from beneath his hood, "Worry not Mason. You'll live a lot longer if I have any say about it." And with that he leaves, and you depart quickly yourself.
takes on a lot more meaning considering:
It's also the reason Angels rarely, if ever make promises. They know instinctually that a broken promise = more demons. So they will only make a promise when they're willing to die to keep it.

Alright, there are... what? Five of you? We don't have enough data to give a solid estimate, but from what Team: GEAR has managed, and the projected growth rates for Magical Girl Solid Core, we're estimating you to be in Class 5 within a month. Possibly higher depending on what new shit Solid Core pulls out of her ass.
Analysts must hate them. They just keep on pulling off more and more crazy stuff, and by all indications, they appear to be accelerating in growth.

Once the Progenitor Frame comes out, I would guess the analysts will officially give up, and threaten to quit if ordered to continue doing so.

Can demons maker promises to each other, break them on purpose, to get more soldiers? What happened to the demons spawned form WW1 and WW2, and what does the UL think of them and the situation? What happens if a divine entity makes a promise and breaks it? If Gaia promised to watch an Anime with the Weapons and got distracted from whatever reason would the demons be the same as if the same thing happens between a group of normal humans?

Is there an increasing cultural tendency to not make promises among humans and instead say i will do what i can or similar? And given the time the Elves and Faeries have been fighting UD with Heaven, is there a similar tendency among them? It seems like a logical cultural progression. And are any of the demons fertile? I remember something about half demons, but if they exist is it only possible between other races and not other demons?

Well, would explain why demons like trying to have members of the cloister break their vow of chastity. :V

And I guess the doctors take their Hippocratic Oath very seriously now.

It's the same for both Angels and Demons.

If Angels pray, it doesn't result in new Angels. When Demons break Promises, it doesn't result in new demons. They're incapable of producing the required energy from those actions.

What happened to the demons spawned form WW1 and WW2, and what does the UL think of them and the situation?
As for the WW1&2 demons... The Akashic Pillar are a bit flustered over it, but the UL doesn't hold it against them, because they've all done something similar at one point or another on accident or by design of a third party. At least one is dead anyway because of the Goddesses.

What happens if a divine entity makes a promise and breaks it?
Something totally different due to the energy involved. Thirteenth Hell and False Heaven are only powered by the races in the Local Dimensional Cluster.

There are other "Heavens" and "Hells" elsewhere with similar rules.

If Gaia promised to watch an Anime with the Weapons and got distracted from whatever reason would the demons be the same as if the same thing happens between a group of normal humans?
Since she's interacting on a "Mortal" level, then yes. The demon spawned would be slightly stronger than normal, but that's about it.

Is there an increasing cultural tendency to not make promises among humans and instead say i will do what i can or similar? And given the time the Elves and Faeries have been fighting UD with Heaven, is there a similar tendency among them? It seems like a logical cultural progression.
It's slow, but steady.

As it is, most of the change is coming from the Elves and Fairies since Humanity hasn't been part of the Unified Light and fighting in the Eternal War for as long as they have. It's projected that "easy promises" will by mostly gone within the decade and subsumed into more vague promises that are easier to keep.

And are any of the demons fertile? I remember something about half demons, but if they exist is it only possible between other races and not other demons?
Demons and Angels are fertile. But only when it comes to different species. Two Angles or two Demons can't have kids together. They can have kids with literally everyone else except another of the same race.

The Angels find it very frustrating, but the Demons don't really mind.

We wouldn't even be aware of it, because if the energy release effects the LDC in any way we'd be obliterated almost instantly.

Maybe it could form a new [CONCEPT], like [HUI-4-e^&-0-*(B%-4-$%&].

Are there any demon types that are more or less friendly/harmless. And, given prays form angles, is there a practice of people coming together and Sincerely Praying for the war to end, to have help, with the desired intent to form angels and increase Heaven's forces?

Yes to both of these. And the former was answered before.

The Unified Darkness does have defectors, much like the Unified Light does. The most common demons to defect are the ones not as interested in the whole "rule over the weak" thing. For example Sam's fiancé, a succubus, defected from Hell years ago despite being a demon. All she wanted to do was settle down and have a large family.

does the type of promise broken have an effect on the demon being born? like if one guy made a promise to his wife on his wedding day "i'll always be faithful" and breaks it 2 years later, would the demon be something that encourages affairs or would it be the opposite?

Still haven't found any promises from Gabriel, you seem to have done quite a good job there crystalwatcher, but I did find this;
The ceremony will be held in a couple days after you all take a short vacation: fully paid for and sponsored by the Counter Force."
Given that today is the third day since our return from Heaven odds are the medal ceremony will be very soon. Hopefully we can go to Reluxus before that happens.

Previously answered: No.

It might have been delayed/cancelled due to recent events.

Or it happened while Nepgear was comatose.

So while we're waiting on stuff, if Q/A time is still ongoing, I've got some new questions. I assume that some of these probably fall under either "keeping it secret for now" or "the Unified Light doesn't know the answer".
  1. Which class of demon are the beings in line to replace defeated Dark Lords generally comparable to?
  2. Which class of demon are Dark Lords who haven't figured out how to use their predecessors' power generally comparable to?
  3. Which class of demon is the current Dark Lord comparable to?
  4. Is it possible to use a planet buster attack to destroy Hell itself, or is it necessary to instead destroy the concept of [HELL] or prevent the birth of any future demons by destroying the concept of [LIES] ("broken promises" can easily be seen as a form of lie)?
  5. Are the homeworlds of the other races in the Unified Light also Divine Beings?
    1. How much does humanity know about those Divine Beings?
    2. What do those beings and Gaia think about each other?
