Crystalwatcher's Magical Girl Quest!

The difference is like that between chocolate chip icecream and a chocolate bar. When you remove the chocolate, only one can continue to stand on its own.

They wouldn't be different from their canon counterparts because there's no reason they'd be different. No original Pantheon to dilute their existence into a reference, rather than an integral part of the story.

They'd be different because I'd be making them different deliberately. I don't get your point.

Some shit you can't dodge.

I'll need to review that.
If you can't dodge, then you block. James is good enough to block. The more obviously ludicrous his ability becomes, the more strain damage it deals, though. 20 for holding off Goddess grey each turn. Assuming every square inch of explosion touching him requires the same strain, then factoring in the core link and Gabriel's healing, he'd probably need a narrow cave and/or to equip Anastasia as a shield in his offhand, but he could make it.

It's like Path To Victory, except instead of Victory it's Tanking. Path to Tanking.

Sounds like the Dragonblooded pseudoperfect. Deals with any attacks which aren't outright undodgeable.

Hey Crys, question, roughly how high a level is too high for a character sheet to be made canon?

Would someone be willing to collect all the omakes that have popped up since the last Reflection? I lost the dumping ground for Gore and Choco's hunt. The last Reflection was in Future Gear.

...How much does Juggernaut Rush boost by, does anyone know? I need it for my mathifications.

I'm on my phone right now, so I can't compile that list myself, but I did manage to locate the most recent omake compilation.

Near the bottom of page 183, there's two posts which together should contain all the omakes between Future Gear (page 90) and page 183. That leaves only 30 more pages for somebody to search through.

Burns her from the inside out, and reduces her soul to nothing. Her body survives intact though.

(A.K.A. Bonus trauma on death.)

Well on the bright side we can't be resurrected and mind controlled by Red. On the not so bright side we can't be resurrected by Red.

Reference:
What Ni does is more like the Third True Magic in Type-MOON. She pulls the soul of the one she's resurrecting from whatever afterlife they wound up in, and instantly reconstitutes their body on the spot using their soul as a blueprint.

Oh and don't forget this means that poor Nepgear doesn't get to go to Heaven, Valhalla, Yuri Heaven Madokami Cosmos, or even just reincarnate. Instead she gets total cessation of being thanks to soul destruction.

Let's avoid doing that to anymore Nepgears.

...What would the ability "Catastrophic Damage" do?
I'm looking for a damage multiplier ability to indicate how really freaking hard the spell hits, but Crush doesn't work because it explicitly requires both hands to activate and the spell is a single-hand strike.

Mathematically, what you're looking for could probably be solved with one of the omni-cast abilities. Double-cast, triple-cast, and quadra-magic which would give it a 2x, 3x, or 4x multiplier respectively.

Something named 'Catastrophic Damage' would probably increase the number of Body-Damage modifiers that would otherwise be normally applied in a given situation.

For example, instead of simply cutting off an arm, it'd tear the arm off completely and cause extra damage to all the major muscle groups that'd be connected to it as well as breaking more bones then strictly necessary. So on.

A blunt force attack would have higher chance of causing things like extra broken bones atop an otherwise stunning attack. So on.

Crush is simply a damage multiplying attack: if the user uses both hands they get a significant multiplicative increase to their damage. A bonus to using both hands instead of just one.

We're a goddess. A baby sister goddess. We're the person other people's souls come to. You can see this through the fact that we've got 400,000 effective health less than two weeks after ascending to our current (plushy) state of being.

@crystalwatcher - Since you're here answering questions here is a quick one: the Collateral Damage upgrade for Purifier Beam, is it toggle-able? Because while splash damage would be nice if it's not toggle-able then Nepgear wouldn't have a single ranged attack that doesn't threaten to either bring down any building she might be in or hurt/kill any allies in the general vicinity of the enemy.

Which would seem more like a downgrade then an upgrade.
