Don't forget her Shaker rating. She improves communities around her through some form of service that doesn't involve punching criminals in the face or collateral damage.

Shouldn't that be a Striker rating, after all she has to physically paint things for the repair effect to happen.

And we can't forget to mention her Blaster rating, since it's very connected to her Master rating, she caused the entire asian district to break out into festival.

The only things we don't know if she has is a Thinker, Tinker and Brute Rating.

Clearly all reports of a large white wolf only corroberate the fact that Miko has a Changer or Breaker State.

No, no, Shaker makes sense. How else can you explain that she makes people happy without punching anyone?

"Maybe she uses a shaker inducing blaster effect on the cherry trees, that causes happiness and peaceful attitudes."

"Clearly we, The PRT, must rip up and examine every tree she's planted to see how she's accomplishing this..."

"Sir, everytime we've tried, the ABB has been out in force to stop us, but not just the ABB, large parts of the asian elderly have been stood in our paths to"

Likewise for Blackwell. Although I'm curious why she was giving them that much leeway to bully Taylor if Sophia wasn't a ward yet.

One fic I've read (the name of which escapes me) implied that Alan would threaten the school with a lawsuit which the school couldn't afford.

If memory serves, despite all that the trio has done at that point in time, there still wasn't any concrete evidence to prove Taylor was telling the truth since this was before they truly started to escalate. So the issue was considered low priority compared to the teenage gang members.

If Blackwell tried to punish Emma based on circumstantial evidence then Alan would kick up a stink and threaten to sue them for defamation or something to that effect.

Whether or not something like that happened in canon I cannot say, but it wouldn't surprise me if it did.

I've read that too and it is pretty stupid, a school would have access to way better resources than Alan could fork up, even a dump like Winslow (it would be the District or Education Board that would probably pick up the tab and provide the legal representation). He'd find himself on the losing side of that case pretty damn hard, especially if any evidence did happen to show up.

It doesn't matter how ineffective it would be. Her dad is important, so anything she does gets swept under the table. If they punished one important child, all the important parents would show up and complain together.

From experience I can tell you that if the bullied kid with the parent the school doesn't see as important happens to be out of state visiting a grandparent on the day that a bully with an important parent calls in a fake gun threat about that kid to get out of Homecoming, the school will protect the kid who cried wolf from the police and pin the whole thing on the kid who couldn't possibly be on school grounds with a gun like the little darling said, because they are literally on a plane under the eyesight of a US Marshall who happens to be on that particular plane.

They will then punish that child for the temerity to actually have an alibi in order to keep the important parent happy.

I think the most likely explanation for Blackwell siding with Emma pre-Ward-Sophia is that it was combination of "Lack of Evidence" + "3 girls words against 1" + "More preoccupied with keeping school gang population under control" that sort of set a precedent among the school faculty when it came to dealing with Taylor.
This plus the fact that there wasn't any serious (ie. call parents in) problems probably led the disinterested Blackwell to legitimately believe that Taylor was just an attention seeking problem student.

It wasn't until long after Sophia had become a Ward that the trio caused an incident requiring parents being called in. At this point Blackwell had a compelling, if morally bankrupt, reason to cover for Sophia and Emma.

Well he's been hit with a Qx4 and the hint didn't register, maybe he scrambled his brains between the booze and trip to the floor when he triggered, thus a mostly different person woke up.
Offhand: We still don't understand why the floor gets four attack dice. We say the GM was delusional.

Concern: Between the comment section here and at When Your Mother Is The Simurgh, big brother has stopped breathing. He'll probably be fine.

I've actually talked to the head of my company's legal department about why we just give free stuff/pay off customers who threaten legal action when we would crush them in court. He said it's called a "nuisance lawsuit" or that the suit has "nuisance value", we would lose more money fighting the suit than we could ever get by winning. I imagine it would be something similar for the school when dealing with the bullies. The lawsuit Alan would bring just isn't worth fighting so they ignore the issue instead.

Her dad is important
No, he isn't. He is a divorce lawyer. Those are a dime a dozen vultures, and not really liked by anyone. He is not the DA or anything even remotely close, a divorce lawyer is one or two steps up from an ambulance chaser.

That's more believable than him suing the school.

True, but this isn't just some product that can be replaced. If they were suspended or expelled and he did go ahead with trying to sue the school, it calls their credibility and integrity into question as a carer. Wouldn't that leave them open to sue him right back for... Intimidation, or something?

Yes, but when that much shit is flying it tends to attract reporters and then all the shit is out in the open for everyone to smell, and when that happens even the winner is a loser covered in shit.

Depends on if you like using the Wii remote.

If yes, may as well get that one.

If no, get the HD.

I have the Wii version ;_; I can't calibrate the wii remote worth a damn for Okami so I basically actually only played 5 minutes of the 30 minutes trying to get the damn remote working right before I gave up.
