@UnwelcomeStorm Will we be finding out how much the appearance of Chessman has been affecting the scales in Brockton Bay? QA is a pretty powerful Shard, so I imagine even with limitations that it would make Danny a very useful cape.

Also, did he quit the Dockworker's Association at some point, or does he keep going in there part-time as a cover?

Probably, but I don't think Ammy herself could deal with the lack of stimulation that comes with several days of running across the ocean. Much easier to hop on a boat with lots of people, that way she can both give comfort to those who have lost their homes and get bellyrubs in return.

I really doubt that it would be multiple days. She's the goddess of the sun: being in America probably only requires that the sun rise over it. Which I believe is still a pretty regular occurrence.

She's a goddess in an era where aethesim and despair are at an all time high and her home country has literally been sunk under the ocean. I'd be surprised if she didn't need to physically travel everywhere like she did at the start of Okami.

I now have this hilarious mental image of Ammy stowing away in a series of ships (righting wrongs and cleansing darkness along the way) before finally sneaking into a dog carrier aboard a greyhound bus attempting to hitchhike her way across america.

Damn Taylor was going full breakdown mode here. Also, hey now she has a reason to stay at the shrine for a few days if she is that pissed off with Danny. Maybe Danny will go looking for her and find out what she has been doing setting a scene where they can reconnect while petting the fluffy dog.

Hmm, I'm not sure what's more interesting here, that Danny still hasn't noticed the dog (although he does remark on dug holes earlier, so maybe Ammy is fuzzing his brain), or that the Hendricks noticed her. Ammy was shown to hide from them early in the story unless I'm remembering wrong.

I don't think Ammy is fuzzing his brain, if only because she's a joker and I can totally see her trolling Danny by doing just the bare minimum to hide herself from him and then one day, after he gets home from work, he finds Taylor watching movies while snuggled with a huge white wolf and half a bottle of Sake right beside her.

Then the wolf barks at him and takes a few swigs from the bottle.

Why? He ask - why Barns tries to help her so much. She will answer the truth. About accident with ABB. Then he ask about Taylor. SS answer almost truth - weird loony with no friends. Then he ask about small personal favor, and accent that this favor is directly related to her position in Wards.
