I would assume there is some kinda of upperlimit on how powerful the miniatures can be, because there is no upper limit on how powerful a game might depict them as and eventually it just stops being interesting to read except as a one of gag, or ends up blowing up the planet and causing rocks fall everyone dies ending.

leaving the space marines and the like aside for a moment, i am mildly amused at the idea that he's more than capable of fielding WW2 figures against the nazi wannabes. just in case they dont get the message that they're not welcome anymore.
To be perfectly honest, i'd just like to see a scene of hookwolf encountering a platoon of Shermans.

One of the major issues with TV is that after a bit, the author dropped the main story to have his characters go around into other fandoms so that he could go "Hahaha! See how awesome they are compared to the idiots in these series! Aren't they the best!?"

The impression of TV that I got before washing my hands of it completely was that the author gave Frodo a Deathstar instead of a lightsaber, then had Sauron's forces crushed by a series of freak meteorite strikes on the off chance they could still manage to put up some kind of fight.

I know there's aerospace fighter minis. But don't think the others have models. Drop pods and drop ships, yes. I've seen custom made minis for those. But jump ships, warships, and so forth I don't think do... You know, since game doesn't really mess with the space battles. And in fact lore wise space battles stopped really being a thing too.
You forget the Clan invasion brought them back into use, and then you have all the stuff post the Clan Invasion. So they have came back.

Like people have mentioned there are gunpla games where you build models and everything but they've only recently come to the US so time frame inconsistencies, IDK *shrugs*

As someone who read Taylor Varga up until losing my final hope of anything interesting happening in the story, no explanation is needed.

There's lots interesting happening in Taylor Varga - it's just all happening in the Sidestories and Apocrypha. Unfortunately, Taylor Varga's biggest problem is that it's become like an anime where the filler arcs are more interesting than the main story.

And again, this is an opinion rather then a fact. To you nothing interesting happens in the main story. But that is not an objective fact, it's a personal opinion. Just as there's people who claim Twilight is the greatest work of fiction ever. But that too is an opinion rather then an objective fact. If you don't like a story, don't read it. But please stop trying to claim your opinion about a story is an objective and verifiable fact.

But not as part of the miniature war game. As part of the lore? Yes. As part of the books? Yes. But not as part of the wargame which is centered around giant mecha fighting on land. Even aircraft are a little used thing. Hell, ground units like tanks and infantry don't get used much. In fact, most people I've met didn't even realize there were rules for infantry and vehicles.
Actually, yeah they are. See here: BattleSpace (Battlespace is a dated version but the intro summarizes the history of such rules.)

Probably used only by a tiny fraction of BattleTech players, sure, but they are in the game.

The Omakes are the authors versions of "what if"... none of them have happened and unless they retune Leets Wormhole generator the likelyhood of them happening is in the negative numbers... the main story is making progress and slowly (or not slowly) driving Director Piggot up the wall (not maliciously either) though she ended up healed by Amy (her doctors call) due to a picture that Dragon captured (just before her probe was eaten). I read TV on Fanfic so if the sidestories don't make it into the main story I've never read them.

I suspect that this is not the place to discuss whether or not one likes to read Taylor Varga, but rather, this is the place to discuss whether or not we all like to read the adventures of Good doG and Brushstroke.

The answer to that is "Yes, of course!" And also, "Can we have some more, please?" (At the author's leisure, naturally).
