Screamed, in general. Not necessarily hysterical. If I were a teenage girl with an older hostile, potentially violent male, I'd scream, too, if only to make sure everyone in range is paying attention or scare him off.

I wonder if that will create problems for her. I mean, you were screaming at the top of your lungs in the middle of the cafeteria when a guy asked you a harmless question? In front of witnesses no less? That's a big honking alarm for major personal issues.
Though I doubt the teachers going to take that seriously. I mean, the management acting like total shit when a girl was shoved into a locker with hazardous materials. Until someone got fucking murdered inside the school I bet the principal going to hide her head in the sand, ignoring all the problems occurring there.

In canon, yeah that happened and forgive me if I assume you are assuming the locker incident is why Ammy is running around and being best dog.
But The Locker Incident hasn't happened and I can't see Ammy allowing it to happen even if somehow it got past the Junior ABB.

The locker is just an example of the management's head in the sand attitude. I'm not saying it happens here, I'm saying they are going to do nothing about Emma's issues unless she somehow resorts to do major harm on Taylor. Even then I doubt they will do anything worthwhile, because even in canon they do nothing when she stuck Taylor inside the locker. They in fact put more effort in covering their own incompetence in handling the matter by persuading Mr. Hebert to settle the whole thing outside of court.

it's a smart move. In short term. But if someone avoid talk in school - she just ask for talk after school.
