Hoo boy, Lung just got a classic *ZOT*. Nothing shows you've pissed off a deity like good ol' fashioned lightning. Especially on a clear day, with no clouds in the sky beforehand.

Who knows, maybe this knocked some manners into him?

...maybe...

I think he learned something, because at the end he let Oni Lee carry him out of the shrine area. That is a sign of weakness I think he would never show. So I believe he realized he messed up. Now if he keeps that humility in regards to Taylor is to be seen.

Now the fun part is when E88 hears about the white girl who set up shop in ABB territory and one shot Lung when he hit her. What will they do?

. . .

Crap, unless Taylor gets some healing, she's going home with a large bruise (hopefully that is all it is) on her face. Will Danny notice this or will he remain Capt. Oblivious?

I don't know. I kinda feel like this is one of those places where Lung could perhaps become, not an ally exactly, but certainly not an antagonist. A challenge to be a better person. A revival of faith. A new beginning. These are all things that I would like to see.

Because Amaterasu is certainly capable of killing him. She left him alive for a reason and it wasn't for the purpose of humiliation.

Just a thought.

Lighting doesn't seem like Ammy's thing, though. Her brother Susano-o, maybe.

I don't remember being able to do the whole Zeus thing when I played.

Ammy can totally make huge lightning strikes. It's the upgrade to Gekigami's power you get from that one quest. It works like the other upgrades to the elemental Celetial Brush techniques, so the bigger you draw it, the more powerful it is.

Ammy Sunny might have spent a whole lot of ink with that last lightining strike, though.

But above the shrine, the blue vault of the heavens stared down like the eye of an angry god.

Someone's about to have a bad time.

Lightning crashed down, a single bolt from a cloudless sky. It struck Lung's metal mask with a burst of light and sound, crackled its electric teeth over his spine and down his limbs, and tossed him from the cobblestone path. Not a single blade of grass was singed. Lung rolled to a stop, heart stuttering and pounding as if by overdose. The bright flash of plasma had blinded him, his ears were numbed by ringing, and for a moment he was face down in his death.

The moment passed. Bright spots danced in his vision, and he still could not hear, but he felt Oni Lee's hands at his neck to feel his pulse, then at his arms to lift him up.

He allowed it.

Get dunked on!

Well, yeah. Amaterasu loves all her children. Even the brats.

Ammi will probably lick it and the bruise will disappear...

.....Oh and on a related note Taylor will no longer need glasses
